Shelters were common in medieval villages, towns, and cities. They were used as a place to
display goods for sale, store items from the sun and rain, or as a workshop for a tradesman.
Overall, they are a versatile and multi-functional building that can provide many uses.
This instruction set covers the assembly of all three sizes.
Thank you for purchasing this product. We hope you enjoy assembling and customizing
the Medieval Series Market/Workshop Stall model kit and spend countless hours gaming with
the piece.
Skill Level: Beginner
Items Required for Assembly:
-Glue (We use fast drying wood glues, but note that there are many different glues on
the market.)
Optional (Recommended):
-Several clamps/cloth pins/rubber bands
-Paper towel
-If painting the model, colored spray primer, desired acrylic paint colors, brushes, and
clear flat or matte spray lacquer for under and over coating finish.

Cautions:
-This model contains small parts, keep away from small children.
-All our models are designed for miniature enthusiasts and collectors, they are not toys.
-For ages 14+
-MDF is a pressed wood material; do not submerge in water as this will cause damage to
the product.
-Avoid excessive moist environments.
Cleaning & Storage:
-Occasionally wipe with a slightly dampened cloth
-Store your building in a cool, dry location.

Pre-assembly:
Organize the model pieces in group and familiarize yourself with their purpose. A description of
all the parts included in your kit is on the next page.
*** If you are painting your model, we recommend that you first apply a clear flat/matte clear
lacquer, then follow by a spray primer (color of your choice) to all your pieces prior to assembly.
This helps seal the porous surface of the MDF and will provide a consistent surface to apply
your paints.
Tips:
-Wipe off excessive glue
-If you can put a clamp on it or a rubber band to hold parts in place while glue bonds, do
it.
-Do a walkthrough of the assembly without gluing to get familiar with the way the
connections and pieces fit.

The following roof directions, steps 1 and 2, are the same for
all 3 model sizes.
Step 1: Start assembling the roof (parts 1 (x2), 2 (x2), and 4 (x2)). Apply glue to
the gable support (#4) edges that have the tabs. Insert the gable support tabs into
the unfinished side of a main roof panels. If needed, use rubber bands to help
hold the structure together while the glue takes hold. Set aside until glue sets.

Step 2: Cross beam and overlays. Retrieve the roof center beam (part 3) and apply
glue to the edge with the two small tabs. Insert #3 into the main roof assembly
with the tabs fitting into the small notches in the center of the peak.
Now apply glue to the unfinished side of the roof overlay panels and attach to the
main roof assembly. Clamp the edges and band the center to help improve the
glue bond.

Step 3: Assemble side wall supports (parts 5, 8 (x2), and 10 (x2)). Apply glue to
the unfinished side of the inner side wall support #8. Attach #8 to the side fence
support #10, it does not matter which side of #10.

Next apply glue to the post bottoms of the side wall assembly. Insert the side wall
assembly into the floor panel. Make sure that the finished side with the notches
at the top corners are facing inward. Repeat step 3 to complete the other side of
the structure.

Step 4: Install cross supports (parts 6 (x2) and 7 (x2). Apply glue to the unfinished
side of inner cross support. Attach #6 to the unfinished side of #7. Make sure that
the center two posts and the top edges are flush with each other. Now apply glue
to the unfinished side of #7 (what was not covered by connecting #6 to #7) and
the bottom of the two inner posts. Insert this cross support assembly into the
floor panel. The shorter cross length on the cross support assembly will fit into
the side panel notches at the corners. Repeat step 4 for the other cross support.

Step 5: Install outer side wall supports (parts 9 (x2)). Apply glue to the unfinished
side of an outer side wall support. Attach #9 to the main building assembly, taking
care to align the inner edges flush with the inner vertical posts. Repeat this step
for the other outer side panel support.
