Definition of the LED indicators of the charging drives
Power on: LED indicator shows green light.
Charging process: LED indicator shows red light.
Charging process completed: LED indicators green and red are light
lashing in turn or around 30 minutes and then LED indicator status
switches to green.
Attention: In case o charging NiMH-Batteries, the LED indicators will
not turn to green when the batteries are ully charged due to the lower
voltage o this battery-type. Usually NiMH-Batteries are ully charged
a ter 4 hours charging.
New batteries and fully charged batteries: LED indicator shows
permanent green light and then enters into standby mode.
Battery Test function:
Low voltage batteries below default setting or aged batteries
(below 1 0 volt): LED indicator shows o (no light)
Batteries fall off: LED light on to show volt (1.1V ~ 1.5)
Caution
DO NOT charge Carbon-Zinc/ used NiCd batteries or old batteries
which were not in use or long time. This could result in overheat o
batteries or leak o chemical substances and it could cause damages to
the charger. It is recommended to use the charger with good quality
alkaline batteries which are newly produced and discharged.
DO NOT charge the give away batteries o low quality that usually comes
along with electronic devices.
Alkaline batteries do not have the memory unction. It is recommended
or used alkaline batteries to count a longer charging time than only a
short time to reach a better e ect.
It is recommended to charge used NiMH batteries twice consecutively (or
around 8 hours) be ore use to reach a better e ect.
DO NOT charge de ormed, damaged, rusted or leaking batteries with the
charger.
Make sure the charger is in the standby mode be ore charging any used
batteries to prevent insu icient charging time. The charger can be
brought to standby mode by turning o and again on the power.
It is recommended to take out the batteries and pull out the plug rom
the electric socket when the charger is not in use.
