Instruction Manual for Alkaline Battery Charger
This KRAFTWERK Alkaline Battery Charger is applicable to charge used
Alkaline / Rechargeable Alkaline-Magnesium and Nickle-
Metalhydrid batteries (maximum capacity o each battery is 2700
mAH).
Be ore using this product, please care ully read through and ollow these
instructions.
Functions and Features
Applicable to AA and AAA 1 2~1 5 Volt batteries.
Individual charge circuit compatible or single battery charge, this device
is able to charge up to our batteries at the same time.
LED indicators.
Micro-processor chip monitors charging process to prevent overcharging.
Automatic cut-o system a ter charging is completed.
Automatic detecting system prevents misplace o battery in wrong poles.
Universal voltage range : 110V – 240V (enabling or use with di erent
voltages in di erent countries)
How to Use
Plug in power cord to the Alkaline Battery Charger, the LED indicator will
lash red or one second, then turn to green. When green LED is on, the
charger is ready to use.
Use Battery Tester to identi y battery li e:
★ Low voltage or aged batteries: Alarm LED indicator will lash with
siren to warn that battery cannot be charged anymore.
★ New batteries and fully charged batteries: LED indicators will light
up and turn on, indicating the battery level in red light.
★ It is a normal phenomenon that the temperature o the batteries can
rise slightly during the charging process.
LED Indicator Status: Red light means that the battery is in charging
process.
★ Charging time: Up to 10 hours
Based on the quality and the li e-/charging situation o the battery,
the ull charging time can vary.
★ Charging completed: Charging circuit will cut o automatically.

Definition of the LED indicators of the charging drives
Power on: LED indicator shows green light.
Charging process: LED indicator shows red light.
Charging process completed: LED indicators green and red are light
lashing in turn or around 30 minutes and then LED indicator status
switches to green.
Attention: In case o charging NiMH-Batteries, the LED indicators will
not turn to green when the batteries are ully charged due to the lower
voltage o this battery-type. Usually NiMH-Batteries are ully charged
a ter 4 hours charging.
New batteries and fully charged batteries: LED indicator shows
permanent green light and then enters into standby mode.
Battery Test function:
Low voltage batteries below default setting or aged batteries
(below 1 0 volt): LED indicator shows o (no light)
Batteries fall off: LED light on to show volt (1.1V ~ 1.5)
Caution
DO NOT charge Carbon-Zinc/ used NiCd batteries or old batteries
which were not in use or long time. This could result in overheat o
batteries or leak o chemical substances and it could cause damages to
the charger. It is recommended to use the charger with good quality
alkaline batteries which are newly produced and discharged.
DO NOT charge the give away batteries o low quality that usually comes
along with electronic devices.
Alkaline batteries do not have the memory unction. It is recommended
or used alkaline batteries to count a longer charging time than only a
short time to reach a better e ect.
It is recommended to charge used NiMH batteries twice consecutively (or
around 8 hours) be ore use to reach a better e ect.
DO NOT charge de ormed, damaged, rusted or leaking batteries with the
charger.
Make sure the charger is in the standby mode be ore charging any used
batteries to prevent insu icient charging time. The charger can be
brought to standby mode by turning o and again on the power.
It is recommended to take out the batteries and pull out the plug rom
the electric socket when the charger is not in use.

It is recommended to store used batteries in separate containers to avoid
mixing batteries and prevent contact between negative and positive
poles o batteries.
The charger is applicable or charging indoors. Please keep it away rom
extreme temperatures and direct exposure to sunlight, rain and snow.
DO NOT smash the charger or place heavy objects on the charger.
DO NOT disassemble the charger to prevent a short circuit.
This appliance is not suitable or the use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack o
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use o the appliance by a person responsible or
their sa ety.
Children should be supervised by an adult to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
I the LED indicator still shows RED light a ter 20 hours continious battery
charging (charging process), take the batteries out o the charger and
bring them to your next dealer or recycling since they de initively can be
supposed as dead.
WARNING!
★ Mis-use o the Alkaline Battery Charger by using o leaking or burnt
batteries, using batteries with abnormal voltage or size, using damaged
batteries or storage o the charger in improper environment/
surrounding-conditions is a high risk to damage the charger.
★ Damages or mal unction o the charger can be caused by orces o nature,
such as ire, earthquakes, typhoons or hurricanes or other environment/
surrounding incidents.
★ Damages or mal unction o the charger can be caused by dropping it,
soaking it into liquids and scratching it.
★ Damages or mal unction o the charger can be caused by disassembling,
modi ying, wrong maintenance and repairing by any unauthorized
person.
