2. INTRODUZIONE
Grazie per aver scelto i termofori della linea Kyara by Moretti. Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio,
leggere attentamente le istruzioni per l’uso e in particolare le avvertenze sulla sicurezza, attenendosi
ad esse. Conservare il presente manuale, per l’intera durata di vita del prodotto, a scopo di
consultazione. In caso di cessione dell’apparecchio a terzi, consegnare anche l’intera documentazione.
Questo manuale contiene dei piccoli suggerimenti per un corretto uso del dispositivo da voi scelto e
dei preziosi consigli per la vostra sicurezza. In caso di dubbi vi preghiamo di contattare il rivenditore,
il quale saprà aiutarvi e consigliarvi correttamente.
NOTA Controllare che tutte le parti del prodotto non abbiano subito danni durante la
spedizione. In caso di danni non utilizzare il prodotto e contattare il rivenditore per
ulteriori istruzioni
3. AVVERTENZE SULLA SICUREZZA
• Dopo aver rimosso l’apparecchio dalla confezione, controllare l’integrità della fornitura
in base al disegno e l’eventuale presenza di danni da trasporto. In caso di dubbio, non
utilizzare l’apparecchio e rivolgersi al rivenditore locale. Il materiale della confezione
non è un giocattolo per bambini! Tenere il sacchetto di plastica lontano dalla portata dei
bambini; pericolo di soffocamento!
• Prima di collegare l’apparecchio, controllare che i dati della tensione di rete riportati
sulla targhetta di identificazione corrispondano a quelli della rete elettrica disponibile.
La targhetta di identificazione si trova sull’apparecchio.
• Il presente apparecchio deve essere destinato esclusivamente come termoforo per uso
domestico. Qualsiasi altro utilizzo è considerato non conforme e pertanto pericoloso.
• Durante i primi utilizzi, può rilasciare cattivi odori a causa di materiali sintetici.
• Le prove di calore del termoforo all’aria aperta, per esempio con le mani, non si possono
considerare valide, perchè soggette a una valutazione erronea del calore.
• L’apparecchio non è destinato ad essere usato da persone (bambini compresi) le cui
capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali siano ridotte, oppure con mancanza di esperienza
o di conoscenza, a meno che esse abbiano potuto beneficiare, attraverso
l’intermediazione di una persona responsabile della loro sicurezza, di una sorveglianza
o di istruzioni riguardanti l’uso dell’apparecchio. I bambini devono essere
sorvegliati per sincerarsi che non giochino con l’apparecchio. In particolare non
utilizzare l’apparecchio con persone inferme, infanti o persone insensibili al calore.
Questo apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato da bambini, se i dispositivi di comando
non sono stati preregolati da un genitore o da un custode o se il bambino non è stato
adeguatamente istruito su come usare in modo sicuro tali dispositivi.
• AVVERTENZA – NON adatto a bambini di età inferiore a 3 anni. I bambini di età
inferiore ai 3 anni non devono usare l’apparecchio a causa della loro incapacità a
reagire in caso di surriscaldamento.
• NON azionare il comando di temperatura con mani bagnate.
• NON tirare il cavo di alimentazione o l’apparecchio stesso, per staccare la spina dalla
presa di corrente.
• NON immergere il cavo di alimentazione e il telecomando.

• Disinserire sempre la spina dall’alimentazione elettrica prima della pulizia o
manutenzione e in caso di mancato utilizzo dell’apparecchio.
• In caso di guasto o di cattivo funzionamento dell’apparecchio, spegnerlo e non
manometterlo. Per l’eventuale riparazione rivolgersi solamente ad un centro di
assistenza tecnica autorizzato.
• Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, esso deve essere sostituito da un centro
di assistenza tecnica autorizzato, in modo da prevenire ogni rischio.
• L’apparecchio deve essere usato solo con i tipi di comando indicati sull’etichetta
dell’apparecchio.
• NON collocare il telecomando (1) né l’alimentatore sotto o sopra
la coperta quando è in funzione.
• NON utilizzare l’apparecchio piegato.
• Quando si ripone il prodotto lasciare che si raffreddi prima di piegarlo.
• NON lasciare indumenti all’interno del prodotto piegato.
• Esaminare frequentemente l’apparecchio per accertare eventuali segni di usura o
deterioramento. Se vi sono tali segni, o se l’apparecchio è stato usato male, rivolgersi
ad un centro di assistenza tecnica autorizzato prima di qualsiasi ulteriore uso.
• L’apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato da portatori di pacemaker.
• Questo apparecchio non é designato per uso medico negli ospedali.
• NON utilizzare se bagnato o in ambienti con alto livello di umidità (es.bagno)
• NON usare l’apparecchio per riscaldare gli animali.
• NON addormentarsi con l’apparecchio in funzione.
• Se si utilizza l’apparecchio per un tempo prolungato, l’interruttore dovrà
essere collocato nella posizione 1-2 (calore minimo).
• NON utilizzare il dispositivo su parti del corpo gonfie o dolenti.
• Spegnere immediatamente il dispositivo se si avverte dolore durante l’uso.
• NON utilizzare il dispositivo se nell’aria sono presenti gas altamente infiammabili.
• NON utilizzare mai il dispositivo in prossimità di una fonte di gas.
• NON collocare sul prodotto materiali combustibili o materiali che si deteriorano
facilmente a causa del calore (ad esempio cartone, plastica, carta, candele).
• NON esporre mai l’apparecchio ad altre fonti di calore (come fornelli o forni),
a temperature sotto zero, alla luce solare diretta, all’ umidità.
• NON INSERIRE AGHI O SPILLI.
• Un’applicazione prolungata con regolazione elevata può causare bruciature alla pelle.

In caso di uso improprio, sussiste il rischio di possibili lesioni.

6. MODALITÀ D’USO
Il termoforo è progettato per riscaldare il corpo umano. Esso consente l’applicazione mirata
del calore. Il termoforo può essere posizionato su parti del corpo quali: cervicale, spalle,
schiena, dorsale, lombare, addominale e articolazioni a seconda del modello in suo possesso.
ATTENZIONE!
Il termoforo è utilizzabile esclusivamente con il comando fornito in dotazione.
Il modello relativo è specificato sull’etichetta.
• Inserire la presa del comando (4) nella base del connettore (5) per collegare il comando di
regolazione della temperatura al termoforo.
• Inserire la spina elettrica nella presa di corrente e selezionare la temperatura. Il range di
temperature è compreso tra la temperatura minima (Livello 1) e la temperatura massima
(livello 6).
• Posizionare il termoforo sulla parte del corpo che si intende riscaldare.
6.1 Funzione di autospegnimento
• Il termoforo è dotato di un sistema di arresto automatico. Dopo 90 min. di funzionamento,
si spegne.
• Per riaccendere l’apparecchio, posizionare l’interruttore del selettore della temperatura
nella posizione “0”, aspettare alcuni secondi, dopodiché selezionare di nuovo il livello di
temperatura desiderato.
6.2 Spegnimento
• Spegnere il termoforo portando il selettore della temperatura sulla posizione “0”.
• Disinserire la spina elettrica dalla presa di corrente.
7. PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Non usare la candeggina
Lavare a mano ad una temperatura non superiore ai 30°
Non lavare a secco
Non asciugare il termoforo in asciugatrice
Il termoforo non può essere stirato
• Prima di procedere alla pulizia assicurarsi che il termoforo non sia collegato alla rete
elettrica e che sia freddo.
• Staccare sempre il cavo di collegamento prima di procedere alla pulizia.
• Il termoforo può essere lavato a mano ( NON IN LAVATRICE) ad una temperatura non

superiore ai 30°C
• Utilizzare un detergente neutro.
• NON USARE candeggina.
• NON asciugare in asciugatrice, far asciugare all’aria, non porre il termoforo
su termosifoni o altri sistemi riscaldanti.
• NON stirare.
• Assicurarsi che il termoforo sia completamente asciutto prima di un nuovo utilizzo.
• Durante la pulizia non usare prodotti chimici o abrasivi.
8. CONDIZIONI DI SMALTIMENTO GENERALI
L’imballaggio del prodotto è composto da materiali riciclabili. Smaltirlo in conformità
alle norme di tutela ambientale.
Ai sensi della norma europea 2002/96/CE, l’apparecchio in disuso deve essere smaltito
in modo conforme. I materiali riciclabili contenuti nell’apparecchio vengono recuperati,
al fine di evitare il degrado ambientale. Per maggiori informazioni, rivolgersi all’ente di
smaltimento locale o al rivenditore dell’apparecchio.

Moretti non è responsabile di danni risultanti, di lesioni personali o quant’altro causato o
relativo all’installazione e/o all’uso dell’apparecchiatura non scrupolosamente conforme alle
istruzioni riportate nei manuali per l’installazione, il montaggio e l’uso.
Moretti non garantisce i prodotti Moretti contro danni o difetti nelle seguenti condizioni:
calamità naturali, operazioni di manutenzione o riparazione non autorizzate, danni derivanti
da problemi dell’alimentazione elettrica (dove prevista), utilizzo di parti o componenti non
forniti da Moretti, mancata aderenza alle linee guida e istruzioni per l’uso, modifiche non
autorizzate, danni di spedizione (diversa dalla spedizione originale da Moretti), oppure dalla

2. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing the heating pad of the Kyara line by Moretti. Please read the operating
instructions and safety warnings in particular before using the appliance and follow these at all
times. Keep this manual and illustrative guide with the appliance for future consultation. Should
you pass the device on to another user, make sure to also include this documentation. This manual
includes suggestions for a correct use of the appliance and precious advices for your safety. If you
have any doubts, please contact the retailer, who will be able to help you and advise you correctly.
NOTE Check that all parts of the product have not been damaged during the shipment. In
case of damage do not use the product and contact the retailer for further instructions.
3. SAFETY WARNINGS
• After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity based on the
drawing and check for any damage caused during transport. If in doubt, do not use the
appliance and contact the local retailer. Do not let children play with the packaging!
Keep the plastic wrapping out of the reach of children; risk of suffocation!
• Before connecting the appliance, check that the mains voltage data reported on the
identification plate corresponds to that of the available electric mains. The identification
plate is attached to the appliance.
• This appliance is intended exclusively as a heating pad for home use. Any other use is
improper and potentially dangerous.
• When using for the first time, you may notice a nasty odour due to the synthetic materials.
• Checking the heating pad outside with your hands must not be taken into account as
this may give a misleading result of the heat emitted.
• The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensorial or mental abilities, or with no experience or knowledge, unless supervised by
a person responsible for their safety, supervision or after having received instructions
regarding its use. Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the
appliance. Do not use the appliance for ill people, for infants or for persons who are
insensitive to heat. This appliance must not be used by children if the control devices
have not been set beforehand by a parent or guardian or if the child has not been
properly instructed on how to use the device safely.
• WARNING – NOT suitable for children under the age of 3. Children under the age
of 3 must not use the appliance as they are unable to react in the event of overheating.
• DO NOT activate the temperature control with wet hands.
• DO NOT pull the power cord or the appliance itself to remove the plug from the socket.
• DO NOT immerse the power cord and the remote control.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning or performing
maintenance and when the appliance is not in use.
• In case of a fault or malfunctioning of the appliance, switch it off and do not tamper with it.
If the appliance needs to be repaired, contact an authorised technical service centre.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorised technical
service centre, so as to prevent all risks.
• The appliance must be used solely with the types of control indicated on the label.

• DO NOT place the remote control (1) or the power cable underneath or on top of
the heating pad when the appliance is turned on.
• DO NOT use the folded appliance.
• Before storage, let the appliance cool before folding it.
• DO NOT leave clothes inside the appliance if folded.
• Inspect the appliance frequently to check for signs of wear and tear. If such signs
are found or if the appliance has been used incorrectly, contact an authorised technical
assistance centre before continuing to use it.
• Persons with pacemakers must not use the appliance.
• This appliance is not intended for medical use inside of hospitals.
• DO NOT use the appliance if it is wet or in locations with an high level of humidity
(e.g., bathroom).
• DO NOT use the appliance to keep animals warm.
• DO NOT leave the appliance running while you sleep.
• If the device is used for an extended period, the selector should be placed
on the level 1-2 (minimun heat).
• DO NOT use the appliance on swollen or painful parts of the body.
• Immediately switch the device off if you feel pain during the use.
• DO NOT use the device if highly flammable gases are present in the air.
• NEVER use the device near to a gas source.
• DO NOT place on the device flammable materials or materials that easily deteriorate
due to the heat (e.g., carton, plastic, paper, candles).
• NEVER expose the appliance to other heat sources (such as burners or ovens),
sub-zero temperatures, direct sunlight, humidity.
• DO NOT INSERT PINS OR NEEDLES.
• Application of the appliance for a long time at high temperature can burn the skin.

5. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

6. INSTRUCTION OF USE
The heating pad is designed to warm the human body. It allows for targeted application of
heat. The heating pad can be placed on parts of the body, such as: neck, shoulders, back,
abdomen and joints, depending on the relative model.
ATTENTION!
The heating pad can only be used with the control supplied. The relative model
is specified on the label sewn on the panel.
• Insert the connector (4) into the connector base (5) to connect the temperature
selector to the heating pad.
• Insert the plug in the socket and select the temperature.
The temperature range goes from 1 (the lowest) to 6 (the highest)
• Place the heating pad on the part of the body that is to be heated.
6.1 Automatic switch-off function
• The heating pad is provided with an automatic switch-off system. After 90 minutes of
functioning it automatically turns off.
• To turn the device on once again, place the temperature selector in position “0”, wait a few

seconds, then select the desired temperature once again.
6.2 Switch-off
• Switch the heating pad off by placing the temperature selector in position “0”.
• Remove the plug from the socket.
7. CLEANING AND MAINTEINANCE
Do not use bleach
Hand wash at a temperature not higher than 30°
Do not dry-clean
Do not dry the heating pad in the dryer
Do not iron
• Before cleaning make sure that the heating pad is not connected to the electric
main and that it’s cold.
• Before cleaning make sure the connection cable is detached.
• The heating pad can be hand-washed (DO NOT USE THE WASHING MACHINE) at a
temperature not higher than 30°.
• Use a neutral cleanser.
• DO NOT use bleach.
• DO NOT dry in the dryer, leave the heating pad dry to the air. DO NOT place
it on radiators or other heating systems.
• DO NOT iron.
• Make sure that the heating pad is completely dried, before using it again.
• While cleaning do not use chemical or abrasive products.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS OF DISPOSAL
The product is packaged in recyclable materials. Dispose of it in compliance with the
environmental protection standards.
The product must be disposed of appropriately, in compliance with European standard
2002/96/EC. The recyclable materials contained in the appliance must be recovered so
as to prevent environmental pollution. For further information, contact the local disposal
body or the appliance dealer.

Verify if:
a. the power cable is connected
to the connecting socket;
b. the plug is insert in the socket;
c. the socket is defective;
d. the fuse of your mains
connection has been activated.
Any temperature level
has been selected.
The temperature selector
is in position 0.
Move the temperature
selector to position 1, 2 or 3.
The protection against
overheating has been activated.
Have the device checked
by the manufacturer.
11. WARRANTY

Every Moretti product is guaranteed for 2 (two) YEARS from the purchase date, except
the restrictions specified below. The warranty shall not apply in case of damage caused by
improper use, abuse, alterations of the product or any other use not in compliance with the
user manual.
The proper use of the product is indicated in the user manual. Moretti S.p.A. shall not be liable
for any damages or personal injuries due to incorrect assembly/improper use of the device,
not compliant with the user manual.
Moretti does not guarantee its products against damages or faults in the following cases:
natural disasters, non authorized maintenance or reparations, damages caused by electrical
supply problems (if provided), use of parts or components not provided by Moretti, failure in
accomplishing the guidelines and instructions for use, non authorized alterations, damages
due to the transport (different from Moretti original delivery) or failure in maintaining the
device as indicated in the manual.
The components subject to wear are not covered by this warranty if the damage is due to the
normal use of the product.
11.1 Exempt clauses
Except what clearly specified in this warranty and in accordance with the law, Moretti S.p.A.
does not offer its customers any other declaration, warranty or condition, expressed or
implicit, including any declaration, warranty or condition of merchantability, of non violation
or non interference, of suitability for a specific aim. Moretti S.p.A. does not guarantee that
the use of Moretti products will be continuous and faultless. The duration of possible implicit
warranties that may be applied in accordance with the law is limited to the warranty period.
Some states or countries do not allow limitations to the duration of an implicit warranty, or
the exoneration, or the limitations of accidental or indirect damages related to products for
consumers. In such states or countries some exonerations or limitation of this warranty may
not be applied to the user. This warranty is subject to modifications without any prior notice.
