The Dual Band Phantom®/GPS Antenna is designed for Automated Vehicle Location (AVL) applications.
This surface mount antenna is a very low prole design featuring the eld diversity characteristics of our
patented Phantom®technology with an integrated active GPS patch antenna.
Caution:For proper performance the mounting area must be free of metal obstructions within 4” above or beside
the antenna. An adequate metal ground plane must also be provided by the vehicle (see table on reverse side) under
the antenna.

Mounting Instructions: Mark the center of the mounting location and drill a 5/8” diameter hole. Clean
the surface around the hole with a detergent cleaner. Let surface dry thoroughly before inserting the
mounting stud through the hole. The transmission line will pass through the mounting stud. Insert the
lock washer, and hex nut; tighten securely. Do not exceed 5-7 ft-lbs of force on the hex nut. Note: As
the transmission line is very thin, take care to avoid breaking it during the routing procedure.
Warranty: Laird Technologies warrants to the original purchaser that the products in this catalog will remain free from defects in
materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the purchase date. If any such defect is discovered within the warranty
period, Laird Technologies will at its sole option, repair or replace your product free of charge. This warranty applies only if the
product is used in a normal fashion, and is void if the product is abused, disassembled, tampered with, used unreasonably, or fails
as result of normal wear. Furthermore, this warranty applies only to defects which occur where the proper product is selected as
recommended by Laird Technologies and is used in the fashion recommended by Laird Technologies. This warranty is in lieu of all
other warranties, expressed or implied, and is limited to a period of one year from date of original purchase. Laird Technologies
is not liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind. Any warranty extended herein shall be limited to the price paid
to Laird Technologies for the product. Where state and or local law governs the period of warranty such period shall control.
