WHAT’S IN THE BOX
1 x MP4–M7T,1 x USB cable, 1 xEarbuds, 1 x User Guide
BASIC OPERATION
Power On/Power off PRESS and HOLD the POWER button to turn ON or OFF;
Play or pause
Volume Key Press the +or -to increase or decrease volume;
Move to the next file
M (Menu) Press to navigate folder locations from menu items such
as photo, videos
Unlock the Screen Press and hold the - Volume button to unlock the screen.
Charging This device will be fully charged after 2 hoursof charging. It is
recommended to charge this unit over night before first use.
Connect/Disconnect from PC Connect to PC via the supplied USB. The MP4-M7T can
then be used as aremovable storagedevice.
MAIN MENU
Introduction: The main menu consists of two screens as seen above. The double arrows middle
of screen can be used to move to the next /previous screen.
Either touch the icon you wish to enter,or alternatively navigate the icons using the volume
buttons.
To return back to the main menu from feature option screens,simply PRESS thePLAY button.

FILE FORMATS
MP4-M7T supports MP3, WAV, WMA, AVI and AMV files only. A file conversionprogram is
saved on your device foryour convenience.Simply move this program to you PC, installit and
use it to convert files you require.The program is called “EndUserTools_V4.37.rar”
Note: All the media playback and record featuresoperate using similar screens and common
button actions. For example the music playback screen looks the same as the video playback
screens, with only a few slight differences in options.
MUSIC MODE
SelectMUSIC from the main menu. The following onscreen icons/options are:

Press the ARROW icon nextto the battery icon to access the
music sub-menu options.
The playback options are:
NORMAL, REPEAT ONE, FOLDER, REPEAT FOLDER,REPEAT ALL,
RANDOM ALL
Press the FOLDER ICON (under the volume icon) to access the
folder sub-menu options.
The folder options are:
LOCAL FOLDER, DELETE FILE, DELETE ALL, EXIT.

Note: This music player supportsLRC file formats for lyric information. Please name any Lyric
files the same as the music file. Eg. The music file Say you Say me.mp3 will have a Lyric file
called Say you Say me.lrc
VIDEO
SelectVIDEO from the main menu. The onscreen options here are: repeat file, volume, return
to main menu, folder options, previous/next and play/pause.
VOICE RECORD
SelectRECORD from the main menu. The options here are:
Record (record a new file) Onscreen options: Return to main menu, Folder
options, previous/nextand play/pause.
Rec Playback (Playback arecorded file) Onscreen options: repeatfile, volume, return to
main menu, folder options, previous/next and
play/pause.
PHOTO
SelectPHOTO from the main menu. Use the volume keys to move through files. Use the MENU
button to move through folders and to viewfolder options. Touch the file name onscreen to
view the file. While the image is displayed on screen, swipe the screen with your finger to move
to the next file.
EBOOK
SelectEBOOK from the main menu. Use the volume keys to move through files. Use the MENU
button to move through foldersand to view folder options. Touch the file name onscreen to
view the file. Use the volume keys to navigate through pages.
FM RADIO
SelectRADIO from the main menu. Insertthe earbuds. The earbuds work as the antenna so
they must be installed before use. The onscreen options are: volume, return to main menu,
folder options, next/previous file and play/pause.
Note: Enter the folder options to set up auto-scan, save or delete favourite channels or to check
region location settings.

BROWSER
Use thisfeature to manually search through allfiles on your MP4-M7T.
SYSTEM SETTING
The options are:
Date/Time Selectthe required cells and use the screen arrows for adjustment
Auto Dim Change the auto screen dim settings between 0 to 50 secs (in 5 sec increments)
Language Choose your preferred language
Auto Off Auto PowerOff (0 to 20mins; in 5 mins increments)
Sleep mode (0 to 120mins; in 10 mins increments)
Memory Info Display used memorycapacity.
Firmware Version Display firmware version
Exit Exit system settings
CONVERTING FILES
1) Click the icon to locate the file to be converted
2) Click the icon to locate the folder where the new file will be saved
3) Click the icon to check the conversion settings

4) Set the start and end time of the file to be converted
5) Selectthe video type to convertto. It is recommend to leave the type as AMV for video files
6) The screen width and heightsetting should beleft at128*160. Otherresolutions may not
be compatible.
7) Video convert and settings may be adjusted as required. In some cases,trial and errormay
be required to bestmatch yourspecific filewith your MP4-M7T
8) Click the OK button to continue
9) Click the icon to begin theconversion
10)When the conversion iscomplete,you are ready to transferthe file to your MP4-M7T
TROUBLE SHOOTING / Q & A
No power
Check the player is turned on
Check the battery and charge if required
Connect to USB power Source
No sound
Check the volume level is set correctly
Check the Earphones are connected correctly
Video Files not playing Check that the file conversion was done correctly.
No Radio/Weak Signal
Make sure the earphones are connected correctly and thatthe cable
is unravelled.
Change Location forbetterreception.
ConvertFile not
working Make sure the screen size conversion is 128*160 pixels
Data Transfer Error
Check the USB cable and ensure thatboth ends are connected
correctly.
Make sure there is enough space on player to accept the file to be
transferred.

Warranty Against Defects
Laser Corporation Pty Ltd (“Laser”) warrants your new product to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship for12 months,from thedate of purchase,provided that the product is used in accordance
with accompanying recommendations or instructions where provided. The benefit of this warranty is in
addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and to other rights and remedies of the
consumerunder a law in relation to the goodsor services to which the warranty relates.
Through a network of retailers and resellers, Laser will provide you with your choice of a refund, repair
or exchange (where possible) for this product if it becomes defective within the warranty period. This
warranty will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, normal
wear and tear,neglector improper storage.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase
How to make a product warranty claim:
Step 1: Find your receipt which proves the date of purchase. Where the date of purchase cannot be
verified, your place of purchase or Laser will make an assessment based on the date of manufacture,
the condition of the Laser Product and the type of defect.
Step 2a): Contact your place of purchase. They will assess the nature of the fault and refund or replace
the product as per their store refund or warranty policy.
Step 2b): If your place of purchase cannot be contacted, then you can contact Laser . Customer Service
with details of your defective Laser Product: Phone: (02) 9870 3355; or Email: service@laserco.com.au
or online www.laserco.net/support/warranty (click on “Consumers (End Users)”). Our business address
is at 1/6-8 Byfield Street, North Ryde, NSW 2113
Step 3: Laser . will issue you with a Return Authorisation (RA) number within 48 hours. When
requested, send us the defective Product and a copy of your receipt. Laser will cover the cost of the
return delivery.
Step 4: Wait for us to contact you. Once we have received your defective Laser Product for inspection,
we will inform you of our assessment of your claim within 7 days. When we contact you, we will firstly
let you know whether you have a valid claim under this Warranty, and if so, we will inform you whether
your defective Laser Product will be replaced or repaired, together with the number of days you can
expect to wait to receive your replaced or repaired Laser Product.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are
entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods
fail to be ofacceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
