1.1 Function
The thermostat with screen is used to control the temperature (heating and/or air conditioning)
in rooms where it is installed, and can be congured for various applications according to need.
1.2 What type of installation is it?
Installation in hotel room (section 3)
Hotel Thermostat
In the hotel room conguration, customers can easily set the temperature and get the comfort
they want by operating the thermostat. For the hotel manager, it oers the option of integrating
the thermostats in the various rooms into a system which can be managed via a software
program, allowing consumption to be monitored and preventing waste of energy.

2 Description
2.1 Meaning of icons and buttons
1 - Heating function.
2 - Air conditioning function.
3 - Operating mode icons (see table in section 2.2).
4 - MODE button: pressing briefly changes the device mode; pressing and holding down
changes the heating/air conditioning function. This function can be disabled for hotel
thermostat modes with a tool.
5 - + button: increases the programmed value.
6 - – button: decreases the programmed value.
7 - FAN button: sets the fan speed (3 levels + automatic).
8 - Heating/air conditioning enabled indicator (see table in section 2.2).
9 - Fan speed indicator (3 levels).
10 - Fan operating in automatic mode indicator.
11 - Measured temperature (thermometer symbol on)/set temperature (thermometer symbol
o) or setpoint indicator. Conguration with a tool.
12 - Unit of measurement °C or °F, modiable with a tool.

Heating function
If the measured temperature is lower than the setpoint value, the heating
system is active and the symbol is displayed.
Air conditioning function
If the measured temperature is higher than the setpoint value, the air
conditioning system is active and the symbol is displayed.
Automatic switching function (no icon)
Should the temperature exceed certain preset thresholds, either the heating
symbol or air conditioning symbol will be displayed.

Comfort mode
The installation operates according to the ideal setting value programmed in
the heating and air conditioning functions.

Eco mode
The installation operates according to the energy eciency value
programmed in the heating and air conditioning functions.

Frost protection/Thermal protection/Off mode
Frost protection: minimum safe temperature.
Thermal protection: maximum safe temperature.
O: zone switched o.
Automatic mode

Mode which mimics the remote setting (control unit or control &
management software) .

Setting the fan in the fan coil unit
By pressing the FAN button, the fan speed is set to
the desired level.
If the thermostat is managing a load such as a fan
coil unit, the fan speed can be set using the relevant
button.
Comfort, Eco and Frost protection mode
One of these modes is selected by pressing the MODE button.
NB : During setting, the fan symbol and the seg-
ment relating to speed ash.

Hotel thermostat
This section describes how to use the thermostat when it is installed in an hotel room.
3.1 Setting the temperature
3.2 Frost protection
Use the + and – buttons to change the existing
temperature setting.
Once the desired value has been set, wait a few
seconds for the new setting to be stored.
The setpoint remains displayed.

3.3 Changing the heating/air conditioning function (locked locally if congured as
“hotel”, modication with a tool).
To switch from the heating function to auto function
and then air conditioning, hold down the MODE
button for at least 7 seconds.

The switch to AUTO mode is indicated by the
absence of an icon.
The switch to AIR CONDITIONING mode is indicated
by the corresponding icon being displayed on
screen.

Repeating this operation runs cyclically from the Heating function to Auto function and then Air
conditioning.

and/or modication carried out by unauthorised
personnel.

In this example of reversible installations, congure the
thermostat as “automatic” function (refer to the conguration
pages at the beginning of the guide). The thermostat will
manage activation of the heating or air conditioning by
comparing the ambient temperature with the setpoint
temperature.
Depending on whether or not people are present, the mode
should alternate between COMFORT (presence) or ECO
(absence), or even FROST PROTECTION (long absence).

b) Configuration
In this example of reversible installations, congure the thermostat
as “automatic” function (refer to the conguration pages at the
beginning of the guide). The thermostat will manage activation
of the heating or air conditioning by comparing the ambient
temperature with the setpoint temperature. The dierence from
paragraph 5.2 is that activating the fan outputs will have no impact
on the installation. Depending on whether or not people are
present, the mode should alternate between COMFORT (presence)
or ECO (absence), or even FROST PROTECTION (long absence).
