Introduction
LevelOne HVE-0201 HDMI extender uses 2 cores
fiber without ny copper wire inside, where r dio
frequency interference phenomenon is liter lly ruled
out, which shows the dv nt ge of high perform nce
nd good sign l qu lity s well s low cost. Optic l
fiber is of low dispersion, which in turn h s the
strength of longer sign l tr nsmission dist nce nd
better sign l tr nsmission qu lity in comp rison to the
tr dition l copper wire c ble.

Installation
1. Put ‘TX’ module ne r to HDMI sign l source, such s
DVD pl yers or computers.
2. Put ‘RX’ module is ne r to HDMI sink, such s LCD
TVs or Projectors.
3. Connect two pl ce by using multimode fiber of 2
cores.
4. Scour the ll end f ce of fibers. (See Note 1)
5. Plug in the fibers ccording to the indic ted number.
The ‘1’,’2’.
6. Plug in the 5V d pter to the electricity nd TR/RX
modules.
7. Link TX module to HDMI source by HDMI c ble.
(See Note)
8. Link RX module to HDMI sink by HDMI c ble. (See
Note)
Note
1. Cle n end f ce of fiber before plugging in. The dust
will c use d m ge to the fiber.
2. The length of HDMI c ble should be NOT longer th n
2 meters.
3. These three figures in front of the modules represent
linking st tus. These 3 LEDs bl ze green if ll setup is
complete nd correct. The left one st nds for the
connection of fiber. The middle one st nds for the
connection of HDMI source. The right one st nds for
the connection of HDMI source.
