1. Introduction
1.1 Introduction to 41910-HTE
The 41910-HTE sends HDMI, IR, RS232, and Ethernet over a twisted pair cable and
includes one transmitter and one receiver. The 41910-HT0 uses HDBaseT™technology
and has a max transmission distance up to 100 meters with CAT6A cable. Consumer
Electronics Control (CEC), bi-directional RS232, IR pass-through, and Power over
HDBaseT (PoH) are supported by the 41910-HT0. With its Ethernet ports, the
41910-HTE can also provide 10/100Mbs LAN connection.

2. Product Exterior
2.1 41910-HTE Transmitter
1) ON: Blinks green when the device is operational; turns off when the device stops
working.
2) LINK: Twisted Pair cable link status indicator, illuminates green when the
connection between the two devices is successful.
3) IN: HDCP compliance indicator, solid green when the connected device supports
HDCP and works normally; blinks green when the connected device does not
support HDCP.
4) POWER LED: Illuminates red when the power is on.
5) ETHERNET: 10/100Mbps, two-port switch
6) HDBT OUT: Connect to the HDBT IN port of an HDBaseT certified receiver with a
twisted pair cable.
7) HDMI IN: Connect to HDMI source.

2.2 41910-HTE Receiver
1) ON: Blinks green when the device is operational; turns off when the device stops

2) LINK: Twisted Pair link status indicator, illuminates green when the connection
between the two devices is successful.
3) OUT: HDCP compliance indicator, illuminates green when the connected device
supports HDCP and works normally; blinks green when the connected device does

3.2 Connection Procedure
Step1.Connect an HDMI source (such as DVD player) to the HDMI IN port of the
41910-HTE Transmitter with an HDMI cable.
Step2.Connect the HDBT OUT port of the 41910-HTE Transmitter and the HDBT IN
port of 41910-HTE Receiver, with a single twisted pair cable.
Step3.Connect an HDMI display (such as an HDTV) to the HDMI OUT port of
41910-HTE Receiver with an HDMI cable.
Step4.Both the 41910-HTE Transmitter and 41910-HTE Receiver have IR IN and OUT.
When one unit is used with an IR target, the IR emitter must be connected to the
opposite unit.
For example: When an IR target is connected to the “IR IN” of 41910-HTE
Transmitter, the IR emitter must be connected to the “IR OUT” of 41910-HTE
Receiver.
Step5.To connect to the LAN, one of the four ETHERNET ports of 41910-HTE
Transmitter or 41910-HTE Receiver should be connected to either a switch or
router. The remaining ETHERNET ports can be connected with other LAN
devices.
Step6.Connect the RS232 port to a system controller and controlled device as required.
Step7.Connect the DC 24V power adaptor (one is sufficient as the other end can be
energized via the PoH function).
3.3 Twisted Pair Cable Connection
For best performance, twisted pair cable should be installed in accordance with

TIA-568-C.0 and NEC 300 and field certified using ANSI/TIA-568 UL approved testers.

7. Introduction
7.1 Présentation du modèle 41910-HTE
Constitué d’un transmetteur et d’un récepteur, le modèle 41910-HTE permet de
transmettre plusieurs types de signaux via un câble à paires torsadées. Il emploie la
technologie HDBaseTMC pour acheminer ces signaux sur des distances pouvant
atteindre 100 m en présence de composants de catégorie 6A. Le prolongateur peut
également prendre en charge le protocole CEC (Consumer Electronics Control), les
interfaces HDMI, les communications bidirectionnelles RS232, les passerelles
d’infrarouges (IR) et l’alimentation réseau (HDBaseT). Grâce à ses ports Ethernet, il
peut aussi assurer une connexion de réseau local à 10/100 Mbps.

8.1 Transmetteur
1. État du dispositif local (ON) : témoin vert qui clignote quand le dispositif est
opérationnel, et qui s’éteint quand il cesse de fonctionner.
2. Liaison (LINK) : témoin d’état vert du câble à paires torsadées qui s’allume quand
la connexion a été établie entre le transmetteur et le récepteur.
3. Entrée (IN) : témoin de conformité vert qui s’allume quand les dispositifs raccordés
prennent en charge le procédé HDCP et fonctionnent normalement, et qui clignote
dans les cas contraires.
4. Alimentation (): témoin rouge qui s’allume quand le circuit est alimenté.

9.2 Procédure à suivre
Step8. Raccorder une source HDMI (un lecteur de DVD, par exemple) au port HDMI
IN du transmetteur par l’intermédiaire d’un câble compatible.
Step9. Relier les ports HDBT OUT du transmetteur et HDBT IN du récepteur au
moyen d’un seul câble à paires torsadées.
Step10. Raccorder un écran HDMI (un téléviseur haute définition, par exemple) au
port HDMI OUT du récepteur par l’intermédiaire d’un câble compatible.
Step11. Le transmetteur et le récepteur sont tous les deux dotés d’une entrée et d’une
sortie d’infrarouges. Quand un des dispositifs est relié à une cible, l’autre doit être
connecté à un émetteur.
Par exemple : quand une cible est reliée au port IR IN du transmetteur, il faut
connecter un émetteur au port IR OUT du récepteur.
Step12. Pour raccorder le système à un réseau local, il faut qu’un des quatre ports
ETHERNET du transmetteur ou du récepteur à un commutateur ou à un routeur.
Les autres ports ETHERNET peuvent être reliés à divers composants du réseau.
Step13. Connecter le port RS232 à un contrôleur ou à un dispositif commandé, selon
les besoins de l’installation.
Step14. Brancher l’adaptateur dans le port DC 24V (un seul adaptateur est requis,
puisque le système peut être alimenté suivant la norme HDBaseT).
9.3 Raccordement du câble à paires torsadées
Pour optimiser le rendement, on recommande d’installer le câblage à paires torsadées
conformément à la norme TIA-568-C.0 et à l’article 300 du NEC américain et de certifier
l’installation au moyen d’instruments homologués UL suivant la norme ANSI/TIA-568.

El 41910-HTE envía HDMI, IR, RS232 y Ethernet en un cable de par trenzado e incluye
un transmisor y un receptor. El 41910-HT0 usa tecnología HDBaseT™ y tiene una
distancia de transmisión máxima de hasta 100 metros con cable CAT6A. Consumer
