How to Attach Feet and Side Rails to Headboard/Footboard
* All needed hardware is located in a hardware bag which should be taped to inside of side rail.
1. Insert bolted end of Foot into both bottom corners of Headboard and Footboard. Twist each Foot clockwise until tight. Step 1
2. Insert Threaded Rods (D) into metal dowels in post thru open hole. Twist clockwise until tight. Step 2
3. With both threaded rods in place, and side rail positioned with T-slots to inside, slide side rail over threaded rods.
4. Add (2) of each: Curved Washers (E) and Lock Washers (F) to threaded rods.
5. Add (2) Hex Nuts (G) with barrel end towards washer.
6. Tighten nuts with Spanner Wrench (H) until tight. Repeat process for other three corners.
How to Attach Slats to Side Rails
1. Insert bolted end of Adjustable Leveler into bottom of Center Support Leg and twist until tight. Insert bolted end of support leg
into bottom of slats. There is a T-nut in the center of the board. Rotate clockwise until tight. Step 3
2. Adjust leveler so that support leg and leveler sit ½” above floor.
3. Place a slat 3” to 5” inward from each end of wood cleats. Place two slats between two end slats so that there is an equal amount
of space between all four slats.
4. Secure slats with Wood Screws (C) provided. Note that top side of slat has larger hole. Step 4
For Low-Post Version of Headboard/Footboard
Insert bolted end of Low-Post Finial into both top corners of Headboard and Footboard. Twist each Finial clockwise until tight.
For High-Post Version of Headboard/Footboard
1. Remove Low-Post Finials from each corner of Headboard and Footboard.
2. Insert bolted end of Lower Footboard Post into both top corners of Footboard. Twist clockwise until tight. Step 5
3. Insert bolted end of Headboard/Footboard Post into top of both Lower Footboard Posts. Twist clockwise until tight. Step 6
4. Insert bolted end of Headboard/Footboard Post into both top corners of Headboard. Twist clockwise until tight.
5. Insert bolted end of High-Post Finial (shown in Step 8) into top of each Headboard and Footboard Post. Twist clockwise until tight.
How to Assemble Canopy
1. If using canopy, follow above instructions for High-Post version of bed, however, remove all High-Post Finials.
2. Lay one Short Canopy rail on top of Headboard Posts so that holes in center of rings aligns with holes on top of posts. Repeat for
other Short Canopy rail on top of Footboard Posts.
3. Insert each end of Long Canopy rail onto square protrusions of Short Canopy rail. It may be necessary to lift the end of the Short
Canopy rail off the top of the post. Repeat for other Long Canopy rail.
4. Insert (2) canopy Bolts (B) through top of assembled canopy rails. Tighten with Allen Wrench (A). Step 7
5. Install High-Post finials back onto top of Canopy rings and twist clockwise until tight. Step 8

