Take the convenience and fun of instant messaging
on the go. Use your phone to stay in touch with your
IM buddy list when you’re away from your computer.
1. From standby more, press right on the Navigation
Key to access IM.
2. Highlight the IM community you want to enter and
press .
3. The first time you enter a community, enter your
Screen Name or ID and Password and press .
4. Color icons denote contacts that are currently online.
Select a name you’d like to chat with and press .
5. Enter your message and press to send. To end a
chat, select Option, then End Conversation (3).
Get access to exclusive Music Tone ringtones from
today’s hottest performers. Personalize your phone
by downloading your favorite tunes and graphics.
1. From standby mode, press the Left Soft Key for
Menu, then select Cingular Mall (5).
2. Select Shop Tones (1) or Shop Graphics (3) and
press .
3. When your web connection is established, choose
a category and press .

Instantly speak with up to 30 people. Create up
to 99 PTT contacts and 30 groups and see their
availability on screen.
1. From standby mode, short press the gray PTT
Key (on left side). The first time you use PTT,
you will be asked to initialize it. Select Yes.
2. Register a PTT name and select Save.
3. Press the Left Soft Key for Menu, select Push
to Talk (6), then select Add Contact (2). Enter
a PTT name and number, and select Save. (An
invitation is sent to the contact.)
4. To start a PTT conversation, first access your
PTT contacts with a press of the PTT Key.
5. Select a contact from your list. Make sure an
available icon appears next to the name.
6. Press and hold the PTT Key while speaking.

2. Select Bluetooth (3), then Device List (2), and
press .
3. Press the Left Soft Key under New, then press
to turn on Bluetooth. The phone will now search
for Bluetooth enabled devices (in pairing mode)
that are within range.
4. Once the Bluetooth device has been found,
highlight it and press .
5. Enter the passkey (typically “0000”– 4 zeroes) and
press . If you don’t know the passkey, consult the
user manual of the device you are trying to pair.
6. Press to connect.

1. From standby mode, press the Camera Key.
2. Press left or right on the Navigation Key to adjust
brightness and up or down for zoom*. Press the
Right Soft Key to adjust image size, self timer, flash
and other options.
3. Press to take the picture.
4. To send your picture, press the Left Soft Key for
Send. Add text to personalize your message, then
press to enter recipients. To choose a contact
from your address book, press .
5. Press the Left Soft Key to Send.
Taking a Picture
* Default camera setting (640x480) does not support zoom function.
Note: You can save up to
10 Bluetooth pairings.
