Put the installation paper on the place and determine the
position and height of the fixing screws of the wired remote
controller.
•Refer to the printed side of the installation paper.

Plug the connecting cable into the indoor unit.
•The product is being shipped with the cable
connected only to the remote controller.
Fix the connecting cable with the cable rack.

Remove the installation paper before installing
the remote controller so that it can fit into the
right place.
* Do not embed the remote controller into the wall. (It may cause the breakdown of the temperature
sensor.)
* If you want to install a number of remote controller on the same place in a vertical line, install them at
regular intervals of 5cm. (It may cause the breakdown of the temperature sensor.)
❐Supply the power after connecting wired remote controller.
When you need to change wired remote controller, switch off the main power and change it
Before switch off the main power if changed the wired remote controller,you can't use the option
function of the indoor unit.

If you want to set the trial operation mode, press the
Room Temperature button and the fan speed button at
the same time for three seconds.

Then the product will begin the trial operation and the
display will be like the following picture.

If you want to unset the trial operation mode, just press
the On/Off button.

The trail operation will be shut down automatically
after 18 minutes and the standby mode will begin.
Trial Operation
The trial operation is to check the installation status of the product. The temperature will not be controlled. Instead
the product will operate in several modes such as cooling, strong wind, comp-on.

If you want to set the address on the temperature
display, press the two temperature control buttons
(▲/▼) at the same time for three seconds.

Press the temperature-decreasing button to change
the group number. Press the temperature-increasing
button to change the indoor unit number.

Set the address by pressing the two temperature
control buttons (▲/▼) at the same time for three
seconds.
•Multi-Model: Connect the outdoor unit with PI485 for the outdoor unit
•Single-Model: Connect the indoor unit with PI485 for the indoor unit
•If you connect the indoor unit to the central controller, you should set the network
address of the indoor unit so that the central controller could recognize it.
•The center-control address is composed of the group number and the indoor-unit
number.
Setting the Central-Control Address
Please set the address when using the central controller.
You don't need to set address If you don't use central controller.

Press the Room Temperature button and Temperature
incrreasing button ▲at the same time for three
seconds

Set the volume of each Fan speed(Low, Medium, Hi)
by using the temperature control button. Press the Fan
speed button to select the Fan speed.
The value of E.S.P could be adjusted from 1 to 255.

If you press the Off button while setting the ESP
function, it will be canceled. (The picture on the left
side is the example of setting the Hi wind to ESP 10.)

Press the Room Temperature button and the
temperature increasing button (▲) at the same time for
three seconds. Then the ESP setting will be activated
after the temperature display flashes three times.
E.S.P function is setting the volume of each Fan speed. It is for the convenience of installation. It is
recommended that you should not use this function whild using the remote controller.

* The E.S.P value is set at the proper value at the factory. So it is highly recommended that you should do not
change the E.S.P value at your discretion.

A click of the button will increase the expected temperature by 1°C.
A click of the button will decrease the expected temperature by 1°C.

Cooling operation will begin if you press the On/Off
button.

Press the temperature button and set the expected
temperature lower than the current room temperature.
(18~30°C)
* If the expected temperature is set higher than the current
room temperature, the cooling function will not begin and
just the blowing operation will continue.

If you want to change mode during the operation, the
operation mode will be changed in the order of cooling,
heating, automation, dry(dehumidification), fan by only
central controller.

If you press the On/Off button, the cooling operation will
stop.
What is the three-minute delay function?
The function to protect the compressor delays the output of cool air when operating instantly
after interrupting the cooling operation.
Cooling operation restarts after 3 minutes when the compressor starts to operate.
■ You can choose the expected temperature from 18°C to 30°C.
■ It is recommended that the ideal difference of the temperature between indoors and outdoors
should be less than 5°C.

If you want to set the heating operating, press the
On/Off button. And Set heating operating by central
controller.

Set the expected room temperature higher than the
current room temperature. (16~30°C)
* If the expected temperature is set higher than the current
room temperature, the cooling function will not begin and
just the blowing operation will continue.

If you want to change Mode during the operation, the
operation mode will be changed in the order of cooling,
heating, automation, dry(dehumidification), and fan by
central controller.

If you press the On/Off button, the heating operation
will stop.
What is the three-minute delay function?
It will take a time for the product to blow warm air. The delay is just to protect the compressor.
The room will be heated with warm air after three minutes when the compressor begins
operation.
■ The cooling-only model will not do heating function.

Press the On/Off button on the remote controller.

Please choose the dry(dehumidification) by central
controller.

When the dry(dehumidification) is being done, “dh”will
be shown on the display panel.

If used during the rainy season or high humidity, you
can have both of effective dehumidifying and air
conditioning effect.
* Temperature control is not available in the
Dehumidification Operation.

When the Fan is being done, "fn" will be displayed on
the display panel.

•Fan does not output cool air, but just the fan air.
•By giving out air that has no difference of
temperature with the indoors, it allows ventilation of

Select the proper Fan speed which you want by
pressing the Fan speed button on the remote
controller.
• If you press the Fan speed button, the strength of the
Fan speed will change in the order of
Low>Medium>Hi>Power.
• The initial Fan speed is "Hi"
• If the product is not compatible with the Fan speed
control, it will not function as your selection.
You can easily control the Fan speed.
• If the indoor unit is compatible with the slo Fan speed, you can adjust the Fan speed at slow level.

When the Room Temperature button is pressed on the
remote controller, the indoor temperature will be
displayed for about 5 seconds, then change back to
the previous screen.

You can use the child lock function by pressing the
temperature increasing button and the Fan speed
button for three seconds. It the initial setting of the
child lock function, "CL" will be displayed on the
temperature display panel and then it will come back to
the original mode. A click of another button will not be
recognized while the "CL" is being shown on the
display panel for three seconds.

If you want to unset the child lock mode, press the
temperature increasing button and the Fan speed
button for three seconds.

If you want to press the child lock button in the standby
mode, just press the temperature increasing button
and the Fan speed button for three seconds. Then the
child lock mode will be activated.

Unsetting could be done in the same way as in the
operation.
This is the Function that any children cannot used to the product.
