ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
LifeGear Inc. warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in
material and workmanship when used for the purpose intended, under the conditions that
it has been installed and operated in accordance with LifeGear's Owner's Manual.
LifeGear's obligation under this warranty is limited to replacing or repairing free of charge,
any parts which may prove to be defective under normal home use. This warranty does
not include any damage caused by improper operation, misuse or commercial application.
From the date of purchase, the frame is warranted to be free from defects for 1 (one) year.
This warranty is offered only to the original owner and is not transferable. Proof of
purchase is required.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Basic precautions, including the following important safety instructions should
always be followed when using this treadmill. Read all instructions before using
this treadmill.
DANGER:To reduce the risk of electric shock, always unplug the treadmill
from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning, assembling, or
servicing the treadmill.
Failure to follow these instructions may lead to personal injury and cause damage
to the treadmill.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock or injury to any
persons, please read the following:
zNever leave the treadmill unattended while plugged in. Disconnect by turning off the
master power switch and unplugging from wall outlet when not in use and before
putting on or taking off parts.
zUse this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use
attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
zNever operate this treadmill if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working
properly. If it has been dropped or damaged, or been exposed to water, return the
appliance to a service center for examination and repair.
zDo not attempt any maintenance or adjustments other than those described in this
manual. Should any problems arise, discontinue use and consult an Authorised
Service Representative.
zNever operate the appliance with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings
free of lint, hair, and other obstructions.
zDo not use the treadmill outdoors.
zDo not pull the treadmill by its power cord or use the cord as a handle.
zKeep children and pets away from the equipment while in use.
zElderly or disabled users should only use this treadmill in the presence of an adult
who can provide assistance if required.
zDo not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is
being administered.
zKeep dry - do not operate in a wet or moist condition.
zThe motor cover can become hot while the treadmill is in use. Do not place the
treadmill on a blanket or other flammable surface as this can create a fire hazard.
zKeep electrical cord away from heated surfaces.
zKeep the treadmill on a solid, level surface with a minimum safety area clearance
of two meters around the treadmill. Be sure the area around the treadmill remains
clear of any obstructions during use.
zThis treadmill is for domestic household use only.
zOnly one person should use the treadmill at a time.
zWear comfortable and suitable clothing when using the treadmill. Do not use the
treadmill barefoot or in socks. Always wear appropriate, enclosed athletic footwear.
Never wear loose or baggy clothing as it can become caught on the treadmill and
create an entrapment hazard.

zAlways hold on to the handrails while using the treadmill.
zAlways make sure the storage latch is in place when folding and moving the treadmill.
zDo not leave children who are under 12 years-old unsupervised near or on the
treadmill.
zTo disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from the wall
outlet.
zThis appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
zChildren should not be allowed to play on or near the treadmill at any time.
zCAUTION - RISK OF INJURY TO PERSONS - To avoid injury, use extreme caution
when stepping onto or off of a moving treadmill belt. Carefully read this instruction
manual before use.
zMaximum Weight Capacity is 110 kgs.
zPull out the Safety Tether Key for emergency stop.
zThis unit must be plugged into a nominal 220 volt 50/60Hz outlet which has been
grounded.
zKeep hands clear of all moving parts. Never place hands or feet under the treadmill
while in use.
zDo not use the treadmill on a carpet that is greater than 1.3 cm in height.
zBefore using the treadmill, check that the belt is aligned and centered on the running
deck and all visible fasteners on the treadmill are sufficiently tightened and secure.
zThis appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
zChildren shall not play with the appliance.
zCleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
zIf the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons persons in order to avoid a hazard.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Attach the Cross Bar (10) onto both Left/Right Handlebar Support Tubes (3, 4) with two
M8x15mm. Bolts (63) and two Ø8.4xØ15xt0.8 Clock Washers (79). Tighten bolts with the
6mm Allen Wrench provided, but do not fully tighten these bolts until step 2 is completed.
Connect the Extension Sensor Wire I (54) from the Base Frame (2) to the Extension
Sensor Wire II (74) from the Right Handlebar Support Tube (4). It is recommended to
have a second person assist with this step. One person should hold the handlebar
support tubes in place while the other person connects the sensor wires.
Install both Left/Right Handlebar Support Tubes (3, 4) to the Base Frame (2) by inserting
Left/Right Handlebar Support Tubes (3, 4) onto the Base Frame (2), using six M8x15mm.
Bolts (63) and six Ø8.4xØ15x0.8 Clock Washers (79). Tighten bolts with the 6mm Allen
Wrench provided, but do not fully tighten these bolts until step 2 is completed.
NOTE: DO NOT FULLY TIGHTEN HARDWARE IN STEP 1 UNTIL STEP 2 IS
COMPLETED.

Step 2
Connect the Speed Buttons and Hand Pulse Sensor Wire (48) and Extension Sensor Wire
II (74) from the Right Handlebar (9) to the wires that come from the Computer (49).
Connect the Start/Stop Buttons and Hand Pulse Sensor with Wire (47) from the Left
Handlebar (8) to the wire that comes from the Computer (49).
Install the Computer Bracket (7) to the Left and Right Handlebars (8, 9) by inserting the
Computer Bracket (7) onto the Left and Right Handlebars (8, 9), using four M6x10mm.
Phillips Trim Head Bolts (64). Tighten bolts with the Multi Hex Tool with Phillips
Screwdriver provided.
Place the Safety Tether Key (53) onto the Computer (49).
NOTE: PLEASE FULLY TIGHTEN ALL HARDWARE INSTALLED IN STEP 1 AND
STEP 2 WITH THE TOOLS PROVIDED.
IMPORTANT: While sliding the computer bracket onto the right and left handlebars, make
sure the wires are installed inside the right and left handlebars and pay attention not to
pinch the wires.

Step 3
The running belt has been adjusted to the running deck at the factory before it was
shipped. At times the running belt may get slippery during shipment. After the treadmill is
completely assembled, use the 5mm Allen Wrench provided to turn the both left and right
rear roller adjustment bolts 1/4 turn clockwise before using the treadmill.

LIFTING UP & SETTING DOWN THE TREADMILL
LIFTING UP THE TREADMILL
Firmly grasp the back end of the treadmill with both hands. Carefully lift the end of the
treadmill up into the upright position until the Foot Lock Latch engages and securely locks
the main frame into position. Make sure the main frame is securely latched before moving
the treadmill. See figures A and B.
Store the treadmill in a clean and dry environment away from children.
SETTING DOWN THE TREADMILL
To set down the treadmill, firmly grasp the back end of the treadmill with both hands.
Gently kick on the Foot Lock Latch with your foot until the lock latch disengages. Carefully
lower the deck to the ground. See figures C and D.
NOTE: DO NOT STAND UNDER THE DECK WHEN SETTING DOWN THE TREADMILL.
TO PREVENT INJURY, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A FIRM HOLD WHEN
LIFTING UP OR SETTING DOWN THE DECK.

MOVING THE TREADMILL
The unit can be carefully tilted onto its transport wheels for easy moving and storage.
With the treadmill in the folded locked position (foot lock latch is engaged), firmly grasp the
Handlebar with both hands and place one foot on the Transport Wheel Cover. Next,
carefully tilt the treadmill back until it rolls freely on the transport wheels.
To set the treadmill down, place one foot on the on the Transport Wheel Cover and
carefully lower treadmill onto base in the folded position.
CAUTION: The treadmill is heavy, it is suggested you always use the aid of a second
person when moving the treadmill. Do not attempt to move the treadmill while it is
in the unfolded position.

OPERATING THE COMPUTER
Quick Start:
Flip the Master Power Switch that is located at the front of the treadmill to the ON position.
The treadmill will self-test for a 2 second long beep. Before beginning a workout session
ensure that the Safety Tether Key is properly placed onto the Computer Console and the
Safety Clip is securely attached to an article of your clothing. Always begin the treadmill
standing on the side rails, not on the belt.
Press the START button to start exercise, the screen will countdown 3 seconds with the
LCD showing "3-2-1" before the running belt starts moving. The running belt will start
moving with an initial speed of 0.5 KPH. The split window of TIME will display in your
elapsed workout TIME. The split window of DISTANCE will display your cumulative
DISTANCE. The split window of CALORIES will display your total CALORIES burned
during workout. The split window of PULSE will display your current heart rate 4 - 5
seconds after you grip the handlebar sensors with both your hands during exercise.
Please hold on to both handlebar sensors for a more precise reading. You may press the
SPEED UP or SPEED DOWN button on the computer console or right handlebar to
increase or decrease the running speed during exercise. The treadmill’s speed range is
from 0.5 KPH to 12.0 KPH. The split window of SPEED will display your current running
speed. During training, you may pull out the safety tether key to stop the treadmill running.
Button Functions:
START: Press the START button to start the treadmill.
STOP: Press the STOP button to stop the treadmill..
MODE: Used to select different functions (time, distance, or calories) for setting exercise
goals.
PROGRAM: Used to select the training program of choice (P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, or P6).
SPEED UP: To make upward adjustments for pre-setting target training time, distance, or
calories in manual mode. To make upward adjustments for pre-setting target training
time in program mode. Makes speed adjustments during all training periods on different
training modes. The speed range is from 0.5 KPH to 12.0 KPH.
SPEED DOWN: To make backward adjustments for pre-setting target training time,
distance, or calories in manual mode. To make backward adjustments for pre-setting

target training time in program mode. Makes speed adjustments during all training
periods on different training modes. The speed range is from 0.5 KPH to 12.0 KPH.
INSTANT SPEED (2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 / 12): Press one of the INSTANT SPEED buttons
(2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 / 12) on the computer console and the computer SPEED window will
display the speed that you have pressed and the running speed will change to 2 KPH,
4 KPH, 6 KPH, 8 KPH, 10 KPH, or 12 KPH respectively.
Computer Functions:
TIME: Displays your elapsed workout time in minutes and seconds. You may also
pre-set target time in STOP mode before training. To set TIME press the MODE button
until you see the split window of TIME begin blinking and display SET. Then press the
SPEED UP or SPEED DOWN button to change the time. Each time you press the
SPEED UP or SPEED DOWN button the TIME should change in 1 minute increments.
The pre-set target time range is from 5:00 to 99:00 minutes. Once you pre-set target
time, press the START button to start exercising. TIME starts counting down from pre-set
target time to 0:00 in 1 second increments. When the pre-set target time counts down to
0:00, the computer will begin beeping to remind you and the treadmill will stop operation
automatically.
SPEED: Displays the current speed from the minimum 0.5 KPH to the maximum
12.0 KPH. You may increase or decrease the speed by pressing the SPEED UP or
SPEED DOWN button on the computer console or right handlebar.
DISTANCE: Displays the cumulative distance traveled during your workout. You may
also pre-set target distance in STOP mode before training. To set DISTANCE press the
MODE button until you see the split window of DISTANCE begin blinking and display SET.
Press the SPEED UP or SPEED DOWN button to change the distance, each time you
press the SPEED UP or SPEED DOWN button the DISTANCE should change in 0.1
kilometer increments. The pre-set target distance range is from 0.50 to 99.9
kilometers. Once you pre-set target distance, press the START button to start exercising.
Distance starts counting down from the pre-set target distance to 0.00. When the pre-set
target distance counts down to 0.00, the computer will begin beeping as a reminder and
the treadmill will stop operation automatically.
CALORIES: Displays the total cumulative calories burned during your workout. You may
also pre-set target calories in STOP mode before training. To pre-set CALORIES press
the MODE button until you see the split window of CALORIES begin blinking and display
SET. Press the SPEED UP or SPEED DOWN button to change the calories, each time
you press the SPEED UP or SPEED DOWN button the amount of CALORIES should
change by 1. The pre-set target calories range is from 5.0 to 999 calories. Once you
pre-set target calories, press the START button to start exercising. Calories start
counting down from pre-set target number of calories to 0. When the pre-set target
calories count down to 0, the computer will begin beeping as a reminder and the treadmill
will stop operation automatically.

PULSE: The split window of PULSE will display your current heart rate 4 – 5 seconds
after you grip the hand pulse sensors with both your hands, making sure the palms cover
the sensors during exercise. To ensure the pulse readout is more precise, please always
grip the hand pulse sensors with both hands instead of just with one when you try to test
your heart rate.
Training In Program Mode:
This computer offers 6 different pre-set programs for exercising. Press the PROGRAM
button to select one of six programs. The split window of TIME will begin blinking for
pre-setting training program time. The initial pre-set training program time is 30:00
minutes. Press the SPEED UP or SPEED DOWN button to increase or decrease the
training program time. The pre-set training program time range is from 5:00 to 99:00
minutes. Press the START button to start exercise, the screen will countdown 3 seconds
with the LCD showing "3-2-1" before the running belt starts moving. The running speed
will change according to its own pre-set program automatically throughout the workout.
During exercise the time starts counting down from the pre-set program time to 0:00 in 1
second increments. With the value of TIME counting down, each interval is the value of
setup TIME divided by 20. For example, if the time value is setup to 40 minutes, each
interval will be 40 minutes divided by 20 intervals (40/20=2). Then, each interval will be 2
minutes. When the pre-set target time counts down to 0:00, the computer will begin
beeping as a reminder and the treadmill will stop operation automatically.

EMERGENCY STOP
Before beginning a workout session ensure that the Safety Tether Key is properly placed
onto the Computer Console and the Safety Clip is securely attached to an article of your
clothing. If you fall the clip will pull out the SAFETY TETHER KEY from the Computer
Console and the running belt will stop immediately for emergency stop, helping to prevent
injury.

WARNING: To prevent electrical shock, please turn off and unplug the treadmill before
cleaning or performing routine maintenance.
CLEANING
After each exercise, ensure that the unit is wiped down and any sweat is removed
from the unit.
The treadmill can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasives
or solvents. Be careful not to get excessive moisture on the display panel as this might
damage the unit and create an electrical hazard.
Please keep the treadmill, especially the console, out of direct sunlight to prevent damage
to the screen.
STORAGE
Store the treadmill in a clean and dry indoor environment. Never leave or use the unit
outdoors. Ensure the master power switch is off and the power cord is un-plugged from
wall outlet.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

BELT ADJUSTMENT
The running belt is pre-adjusted to the running deck at the factory, but after prolonged use
it can stretch and require readjustment. To adjust the belt, turn on the main power switch
of the treadmill and let the belt run at a speed of 8-10 KPH. Use the 5mm Allen Wrench
provided to turn the rear roller adjustment bolts in order to centre the belt.
If the running belt is shifting to the left, turn the left adjustment bolt 1/4 turn clockwise, and
the running belt should start to correct itself.
If the running belt is shifting to the right, then turn the right adjustment bolt 1/4 turn
clockwise, and the belt should start to correct itself. Keep turning the adjustment bolts until
the running belt is properly centered.
If the running belt is slipping during use, turn off and unplug the treadmill. Using the 5mm
Allen Wrench provided, turn both left and right rear roller adjustment bolts 1/4 turn
clockwise, then turn the main power switch back on and run the treadmill at a speed of
8-10 KPH. Run on to the running belt to determine if the belt is still slipping. Repeat this
procedure until the belt no longer slips.
