The AllevaGlove offers the benefits of both red-light and near-infrared (NIR)

FIRST STEPS
1. Remove the AllevaGlove from the shipping box and remove all
packaging from the device and accessories.
2. Inspect the device and accessories for shipping damage.
3. Read carefully through this user manual and all safety instructions
before using the AllevaGlove.
4. Go to allevaglove.lifeprofitness.com and register your product within
14 days of purchase to activate your lifetime warranty.
5. Do a skin sensitivity test following the instructions on page 8. Then,
complete the steps in the EASY-START SETUP GUIDE on pages 10–11
to begin using the AllevaGlove.

Before your first treatment, it is important to perform a skin sensitivity
test to ensure you won’t experience any adverse reactions to light therapy.
To do a sensitivity test:
1. Press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds to power on the
AllevaGlove.
2. Place the AllevaGlove on or within ¼ inch of the skin on your forearm
for 10 minutes, checking for any redness and irritation.
3. If your skin feels uncomfortable or hot at any point during the test
treatment, stop using the AllevaGlove immediately.
4. Wait at least 6 hours after the sensitivity test. If your skin becomes
red and/or itchy, you may be sensitive light therapy and you should not
continue to use the AllevaGlove.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
• Do not use this product if you are, suspect you may be, or are planning to
become pregnant, or if you are, or plan to begin, breastfeeding.
• Do not use this product if you have cancer or suspect you may have
cancerous lesions.
• Consult your physician before using this product if you:
• Take steroid medication or receive steroid injections, if you recently
had surgery, skin filler injections, or if you have a tattoo in the
treatment area.
• Have a condition that may make you sensitive to light or sunlight, such
as Lupus, some forms of eczema, light-induced migraines, albinism,
rosacea.
• Take medication that makes you sensitive to sunlight, including some
antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs, and diuretics.
• Use products that may cause photosensitivity, such as citrus essential
oils, St. John’s Wart, antibacterial soap, coal tar and petroleum
products.
TESTING FOR SKIN SENSITIVITY TIPS FOR USING THE ALLEVAGLOVE
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
• Only for use on the hands. Never use the AllevaGlove on or near your eyes or
eyelids. Never look directly into the LED lights while the device is on.
• Do not use the device while sleeping, driving, smoking, or intoxicated.
• Never leave the device unattended while it is charging or running.
• Keep the AllevaGlove, charging cable, and adapter away from heat sources and
fire. Never use the AllevaGlove under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heat can
potentially cause fire, electrocution, or injury to people or property.
• Device is not waterproof. Keep away from liquids, do not immerse in water.
• Never use the device or plug/unplug the charging cable with wet hands.
• Always power off the device after each use.
• Inspect the device and charging cable before each use. Do not use if damaged,
malfunctioning, frayed or worn, or if the device has been exposed to water.
USING THE ALLEVAGLOVE
• Monitor treated areas for several days after the initial treatment. If you feel
discomfort or sensitivity, stop use or decrease treatment time (either the time
per session or the number of sessions per day/week).
• Do not use continuously for more than 20 minutes, and wait at least 6 hours
between treatment sessions on the same area.
• Use the device to treat the same area a maximum of 3 times per day.
• It is best to increase treatment time (the number of minutes per session and the
number of sessions per day and per week) slowly over a period of several days
or weeks. How slowly you increase treatment will depend on your individual skin
sensitivity and tolerance to treatment.
• Remove any metal jewelry and accessories from the area to be treated,
including rings and bracelets, before using. Do not use over clothing with metal
snaps, zippers, or buttons.
• The 850nm LEDS may appear dim or may not appear to be lit. They are infrared
LEDS and infrared wavelengths are not visible to the human eye.
• Use the AllevaGlove while seated or lying down on a bed, chair, floor, or couch.
• If you feel discomfort, stop use, and next time decrease the session time.
• People with sensitive skin or skin conditions that can be exacerbated by heat,
such as eczema and rosacea, may want to use the AllevaGlove only for short
durations.

CHARGING THE ALLEVAGLOVE
• Always make sure the AllevaGlove is powered off before
charging.
• Plug the smaller USB-C end of the charging cable into the
charging port on the top of the AllevaGlove.
• Plug the larger end of the USB cable into the power adapter.
• Plug the power adapter plug into a standard wall outlet. The
battery indicator LED will flash red to indicate the device is
charging.
• Charge for 3–4 hours, until the battery indicator LED turns solid
blue, indicating a full charge.
• Unplug the AllevaGlove from the charger.

PREPARING TO USE THE ALLEVAGLOVE
• Wash and dry your hands.
• Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down. You may also wish to
grab a pillow to ensure your treatment session is comfortable.
• Remove any heavy clothing, and metal jewelry or metal
accessories (rings, bracelets, snaps, buttons, etc.) near your
fingers and hands.
USING THE ALLEVAGLOVE
• Insert the hand to be treated into the AllevaGlove.
• Press and hold the On/Off button on the control panel for
2 seconds to turn on the AllevaGlove. A solid blue indicator LED
will turn on. The default working time is 20 minutes.
• Use the device for 15-20 minutes. It's a good idea to start with a
short working time when you are first using the AllevaGlove.
• Press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds to turn off
the AllevaGlove, if stopping the treatment before the set
working time ends. The device will turn off automatically after
20 minutes.
WARNING: Never use the AllevaGlove on or near your eyes or eyelids.
WARNING: Never look directly into the LED lights while the device is
turned on as this can damage your eyes.
NOTE: Be sure to remove any metal jewelry and accessories from the area
to be treated, including rings and bracelets, before using. Do not use over
clothing with metal snaps, zippers, or buttons.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Please read the operating instructions before using the AllevaGlove Red Light
Hand Therapy. Keep this manual for reference.
CHARGING YOUR ALLEVAGLOVE
• Fully charge the AllevaGlove before using it for the first time.
• Always power off the device before charging.
• The AllevaGlove takes 3–4 hours to charge completely.
• The battery indicator LED flashes red when charging. Full charge is
indicated when the battery indicator LED turns solid blue.
• During use, when the battery indicator LED flashes red, the battery
should be charged. This ensures optimum battery life.
• You may plug the USB charging cable into the power adapter plug and
plug that into a standard wall outlet, or plug the USB charging cable
into a computer or car USB port to charge the AllevaGlove.
• Do not use the AllevaGlove while it is charging.
• Average run-time is about 3–4 hours per charge.
USING THE CONTROLS
1. On/Off Button: Press and hold the
button for 2 seconds to turn on/off
the AllevaGlove.
2. Battery Indicator LED: Shows the
current battery status.
During Charging:
• LED flashes red while charging.
• Solid blue LED indicates full charge.
During Use
• Blue LED indicates battery has full
charge.
• Flashing red to indicate low charge;
battery should be charged right
away to ensures optimum battery life.
USING THE ALLEVAGLOVE
1. Wash and dry your hands.
2. Insert the hand to be treated into the glove opening.
3. Press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds to turn on the
AllevaGlove. The battery indicator LED will light up solid blue. The
default working time is 20 minutes.
4. Relax and enjoy your red light therapy treatment session.
5. You may press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds at any time to
stop the treatment session. The AllevaGlove will automatically turn off
when the 20-minute working time completes.
6. If you wish to begin another treatment session, simply press and hold
the On/Off button to turn the device on again.
7. Always turn the AllevaGlove off, after each use.

Q: WHAT IS RED LIGHT THERAPY
A: Red light therapy (RLT), also called phototherapy, is a therapy that
uses low wavelength red light to treat the at the surface and below the
surface of the skin. Red light is absorbed by the body's cells, particularly the
mitochondria, which use the red light to make energy, which stimulates cell
regeneration and repair.
Red light therapy is a highly-effective non-invasive, chemical-free therapy
that can be used to safely and painlessly heal and rejuvenate many parts
of the body.
Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RED LIGHT AND NEAR-
INFRARED LIGHT THERAPY?
A: Both red and near-infrared light are wavelengths on the electromagnetic
spectrum. Red light wavelengths, 600–700 nm (nanometers), are absorbed
by the skin at a high rate. Near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths, 760–1400 nm
(nanometers), are higher on the electromagnetic spectrum and not visible to
the human eye. The human body easily absorbs near-infrared waves up, to
1.5 inches into muscle, fat, and joints.
The AllevaGlove uses 660nm and 850nm wavelengths of light at the same
time. It treats the surface of the skin and below the skin simultaneously.
Q: WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF RED LIGHT AND NEAR-INFRARED
(NIR) LIGHT THERAPY
A: The benefits of red light therapy and near-infrared (NIR) therapy are very
similar, though red light therapy treats cells at the surface of the skin and
near-infrared therapy treats cells up to 1.5 inches below the surface of the
skin (your muscles, fat, joints, organs, etc.). Benefits of red light and near-
infrared (NIR) therapy:
• Improve skin appearance, including sun damage, scars (including acne
scars), burns, cellulite, fine lines and wrinkles,
• Stimulate collagen and elastin production and cell regeneration, thus
improving blood circulation to the skin and the overall appearance of the
skin, including reduced cellulite.
• Energize the lymphatic system, aiding in detoxification.
• Lose inches off the waist, hips, or other treated area.
• Decrease pain, inflammation and stiffness in joints, muscles, and
connective tissues.
• Reduce symptoms of chronic pain disorders such as tendinitis, arthritis,
rheumatoid arthritis, and fibromyalgia.
• Boost immune system.
• Reduce symptoms of eczema and psoriasis, such as redness, itching,
flaking, and swelling.
• Improve sleep quality.
• Reduce hormonal imbalances.
• Improve mental clarity and focus.
• Reduce cortisol and increases serotonin, reducing stress and depression.
• Promote faster recovery post-workout.
Q: WHY DO SOME OF THE LEDS SEEM DIM?
A: The 20 near-infrared (850nm) LEDs may appear dim or appear not to
be working because near-infrared light wavelengths are not visible to the
human eye.
Q: WHO SHOULD NOT USE THE ALLEVAGLOVE
A: Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, people who have cancer, and
people who suspect they may have cancerous lesions should not use the
AllevaGlove.
Consult your physician before using the AllevaGlove if you take steroid
medication or receive steroid injections, if you recently had surgery,
injections or enhancements, or if you have a tattoo in the treatment area.

have a conditions that may make you sensitive to light such as with Lupus,

on your wellness goals and tolerance to treatment. Do not use continuously
for more than 20 minutes, and wait at least 6 hours between 20-minute
sessions.
Q: SHOULD I WEAR CLOTHING OVER THE TREATMENT AREA?
A: For red light therapy to work most effectively, it is best to wear the
AllevaGlove directly against your skin.
Q: HOW CAN I EXPERIENCE THE BENEFITS OF LIGHT THERAPY ON
OTHER AREAS OF THE BODY?

Q: HOW DO I CLEAN THE ALLEVAGLOVE?
A: The AllevaGlove is simple to clean. After the AllevaGlove is off and has
completely cooled, wipe it down with a soft, damp cloth or an alcohol-
based wipe. Allow to dry completely before using it again. Do not launder or
submerse in water. We recommend cleaning the device after each use.
Q: HOW SHOULD I STORE THE ALLEVAGLOVE?
A: Always store the AllevaGlove in its box and do not store other objects on
top of the device to prevent damage to the LED lights. Store the device in a
cool, dry location. Do not store close to the ground, walls, or roof.

13. Unplug the device immediately in the event of a power failure.
14. The device is not waterproof. Keep away from liquids. Do not use in high-moisture
environments or in any place where the device may become wet or damp. Do not
immerse in water. If the device becomes wet or emits an odor, unplug it, and do not use.
15. Keep the device and charging cable away from flammable or explosive items,
chemicals, open flame, and heat sources such as central heating, portable heaters,
stoves, fireplaces, and ovens.
16. Do not use or store in high temperatures or in direct sunlight. Do not operate under a
blanket or pillow. Excessive heat can cause fire, electrocution, or injury to person(s)
or property.
17. Never plug/unplug the power cable with wet hands.
18. Keep sharp objects such as pins, knives, and needles away from device and power
cable.
19. Do not operate in the presence of aerosol (spray) products or corrosive gases, or
where concentrated oxygen is being administered.
20. Never drag or hang the AllevaGlove by the charging cable. Do not destroy, bend,
stretch, twist, or tie the charging cable.
21. Do not fold, sit, or stand on the glove. Do not exert excessive downward force on the
glove.
22. If the device begins to make unusual noises, turn off and unplug immediately.
SAFETY

device. We also recommend people who are or may be sensitive to red light or near-
infrared light consult with their physician before using the device.
25. Never leave the AllevaGlove unattended while it is powered on or charging.
26. Do not operate the AllevaGlove while sleeping, driving, smoking, or intoxicated.
27. Do not use the device over metal accessories, such as jewelry, zippers, snaps, etc.
CLEANING, STORAGE & MAINTENANCE
28. Turn off and allow the AllevaGlove to cool down before cleaning or storing.
29. Wipe down the device with a soft, damp cloth, or alcohol-based wipe, as needed.
Never allow water or other liquids to come into contact with the device.
30. Do not use abrasive, corrosive, solvent, or chemical cleaners or harsh detergents.
31. Store the AllevaGlove in its box to prevent damage to the device. Store the device
in a cool, dry location. Do not store close to the ground, walls, or roof. Do not store
other objects on top of the device.
32. Do not attempt to disassemble the device. Battery is not removable or replaceable.
