Red light therapy has a wide variety of applications and health benefits.
Physical therapists and doctors use red light therapy to help athletes safely

With the Lifepro AllevaSole Red Light Foot and Ankle Therapy, you can

The AllevaSole offers the benefits of both red-light and near-infrared
(NIR) light therapy. 850nm NIR light penetrates deeply into tissues and

UNPACKING YOUR ALLEVASOLE
1. Remove the AllevaSole from the shipping box and inspect all items for
shipping damage.
2. Carefully read all safety warnings and operating instructions before
using the AllevaSole.
3. Go to allevasole.lifeprofitness.com and register your product within
14 days of purchase to activate your lifetime warranty.
4. Do a skin sensitivity test following the instructions on page 8. Then,
complete the steps in the EASY-START SETUP GUIDE on pages 10–11
to begin using the AllevaSole. Follow the steps in SECURING THE
ALLEVASOLE TO YOUR FOOT on page 12, TIPS FOR USE on page 9
and OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS on page 14–15.

TESTING FOR SKIN SENSITIVITY
Before your first treatment, it is important to perform a skin sensitivity
test to ensure you won’t experience any adverse reactions to light therapy.
To do a sensitivity test:
1. Hold the AllevaSole to your inner arm, with the LEDs against your skin.
2. Press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds to turn on the
AllevaSole. The treatment program will begin automatically. Allow the
treatment program to run for 5 minutes.
3. Press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds to turn off the device.
4. If your skin feels uncomfortable or hot at any point during the test
treatment, stop using the AllevaSole immediately.
5. Wait at least 6 hours after the sensitivity test. If your skin becomes
red and/or itchy, you may be sensitive light therapy and you should not
continue to use the AllevaSole.

TIPS FOR USING THE ALLEVASOLE
• Use only over clean skin or clothing to keep the device clean. Red light
therapy is most effective over bare skin.
• Place the AllevaSole in position on your foot before powering it on.
• Turn off the AllevaSole before removing it from your foot.
• Sit or lie comfortably. Do not stand or walk around while the AllevaSole
is on your foot.
• We recommend first time users start with 3–5 minute sessions per
treatment area. Gradually working your way up to longer treatment
sessions over a period of several weeks will allow your body to properly
acclimate to red light therapy.
• People with sensitive skin or skin conditions that can be exacerbated by
heat, such as eczema and rosacea, may want to use the device only for
short durations.
• Check the treatment area frequently and stop immediately at the first
sign of pain or discomfort.
• Monitor treated areas for several days after the initial treatment. If
you feel discomfort or sensitivity, stop use or decrease treatment time
(either the time per session or the number of sessions per day/week).
• The device will automatically power off after 20 minutes of use. For best
results, do not use continuously for more than 40 minutes, and wait at
least 6 hours between sessions.
• The device may be used daily, up to 3 times in the same treatment area.
CAUTION
• Do not use this product in combination with ointments, salves, liniments,
balms, or other topical pain-relievers that contain ingredients that
produce heat (such as capsaicin), as this may result in burns.
• Do not wear metal accessories, such as snaps, buttons, zippers, or
jewelry, in the treatment area, as the metal may heat and cause burns.
Metal accessories can also damage the LEDs.
• Do not use directly on swollen or inflamed skin or open wounds.
• Do not use the device over your eyes, head, or neck.
• Do not look directly into the LED lights while the device is powered on.
Looking directly at infrared lights may result in damage to the eyes.
• Keep away from long hair to avoid getting it caught in the Velcro®.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

CHARGING THE ALLEVASOLE
• Always make sure the AllevaSole is powered off before
charging.
• Plug the smaller USB-C end of the charging cable into the
USB-C port on the bottom edge of the battery pack.
• Plug the larger USB end of the charging cable into the included
power adapter.
• Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet. The battery
indicator LED will flash red to indicate the device is charging.
• Charge for 3–4 hours, until the battery indicator LED turns solid
green, indicating a full charge.
• Disconnect the charging cable.

PREPARING TO USE THE ALLEVASOLE
• Remove your socks and roll up your pant legs. Red light therapy
is most effective over bare skin.
• Remove any metal jewelry or metal accessories (snaps, buttons,
zippers, jewelry, etc.) from the treatment area.
• Wash and dry your foot thoroughly to keep the inside of the
device clean.
• Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down. You may also wish to
grab a pillow to ensure your treatment session is comfortable.
USING THE ALLEVASOLE
• Secure the AllevaSole to your foot. See instructions on page 12.
• Press and hold the On/Off button on the control panel for
2 seconds to turn on the AllevaSole. A solid green indicator LED
will turn on. The working time is 20 minutes.
• Use the device for 3–5 minutes. It's a good idea to start with a
shorter working time when you are first using the AllevaSole.
• Press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds to turn off the
AllevaSole, if stopping the treatment before the 20 minute
working time ends.

• Do not use this product in combination with ointments, salves, liniments,
balms, or other topical pain-relievers that contain ingredients that
produce heat (such as capsaicin), as this may result in burns.

To secure the AllevaSole to your foot:
1. Sit in a comfortable chair with your
feet flat on the floor.
2. Place the AllevaSole flat on the
floor in front of you.
a. The LED side faces up.
b. The small heel cut-out faces
toward you.
3. Place your heel at the edge of the
small cut-out. Your foot should be
centered (side to side).
4. Fold Corner 1 up around your ankle.
Then, fold Corner 2 up around your
ankle. Press firmly to attach the
Velcro®strip. Your heel will poke
out the cut-out at the back.
5. Wrap Corner 3 over your foot and
press down firmly to attach the
Velcro®strip, securing the
AllevaSole to your foot.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Please read the operating instructions before using the AllevaSole. Keep this
manual for reference.
USING THE CONTROLS
1. On/Off Button: Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to turn on/off
the AllevaSole.
2. USB-C Port: Plug the USB-C charging cable into the port.
3. Battery Indicator LED: Shows the battery status during charging and
during use.
DURING CHARGING:
• LED flashes red while charging.
• LED turns solid green to indicate the battery is fully charged.
DURING USE
• LED is solid green when the battery level remaining is 25–100%.
• LED flashes red when the battery is low, less than 25%.
Charge the battery right away to ensure optimum battery life.
CHARGING YOUR ALLEVASOLE
•Fully charge the AllevaSole before using it for the first time.
• Always power off the device before charging.
• Do not use the device while it is charging.
• The AllevaSole takes 3–4 hours
to charge completely.
• During charging, the indicator
LED shows the charging

• You may plug the USB-C charging cable into the power adapter plug and
plug that into a standard wall outlet, or plug the USB-C charging cable
into a computer, vehicle USB port, or mobile power bank to charge the
AllevaSole.
• Average run-time is about 1.5 hours per charge.
USING THE ALLEVASOLE
1. Put the AllevaSole on your foot following the instructions on page 12.
2. Press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds to turn on the device.
The battery indicator LED will light up solid green and the therapy
session will begin automatically. The working time is 20 minutes.
3. You may press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds at any time to
stop the treatment session. The AllevaSole will automatically turn off
when the 20 minute working time completes.
4. If you wish to begin another treatment session, simply press and hold
the On/Off button to turn the device on again.
5. Always turn the AllevaSole off after each use.

• Take a medication that may make you sensitive to light or sunlight,
including some antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs, cold and allergy
medications, pain medications, and diuretics.
• Use products that may cause photosensitivity, such as citrus essential
oils, St. John’s Wart, antibacterial soap, and coal tar and petroleum
products.
• Are or may be sensitive to red light or near-infrared light.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

• Use only over clean clothing or skin to keep the device clean.
• Turn off, unplug, and allow the device to cool down before cleaning or
storing.
• Wipe the device with a soft, slightly damp cloth after each use. If
needed, you may wipe the device with an alcohol-based wipe. Allow the
device to completely dry before using again.
• Do not use soap, detergent, or abrasive, corrosive, solvent, or chemical
cleaners or harsh detergents to clean the device.
• Do not wash the device in a washing machine.
• If debris or hair gets caught in the Velcro®hook and loop fasteners, use
a toothpick to remove.
• Store the device in a cool, dry, indoor location.
• Do not store other objects on top of the device. Store in the original box
to prevent damage to the LEDs.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device; contains no user-
serviceable parts.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: WHAT IS RED LIGHT THERAPY
A: Red light therapy (RLT), also called phototherapy, is a therapy that uses
low wavelength red light to treat at the surface and below the surface
of the skin. Red light is absorbed by the body’s cells, particularly the
mitochondria, which use the red light to make energy, which stimulates cell
regeneration and repair.
Red light therapy is a highly-effective non-invasive, chemical-free therapy
that can be used to safely and painlessly heal and rejuvenate many parts of
the body.
Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RED LIGHT AND NEAR-
INFRARED LIGHT THERAPY?
A: Both red and near-infrared light are wavelengths on the electromagnetic
spectrum. Red light wavelengths, 600–700 nm (nanometers), are absorbed
by the skin at a high rate. Near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths, 760–1400 nm
(nanometers), are higher on the electromagnetic spectrum and not visible
to the human eye. The human body easily absorbs near-infrared waves up
to 1.5 inches into muscle, fat, and joints.
The AllevaSole uses 660nm and 850nm wavelengths of light at the same
time. It treats the surface of the skin and below the skin simultaneously.
Q: WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF RED LIGHT AND NEAR-INFRARED
(NIR) LIGHT THERAPY
A: The benefits of red light therapy and near-infrared (NIR) therapy are
very similar, though red light therapy treats cells at the surface of the skin
and near-infrared therapy treats cells up to 1.5 inches below the surface
of the skin (your muscles, fat, joints, organs, etc.). The benefits of red light
and near-infrared (NIR) therapy include:
• Decrease pain, inflammation and stiffness in joints, muscles, and
connective tissues.
• Reduce symptoms of chronic pain disorders such as tendinitis, arthritis,
rheumatoid arthritis, and fibromyalgia.
• Promote faster recovery post-workout.
• Improve sleep quality.
• Improve skin appearance, including sun damage, scars (including acne
scars), burns, cellulite, fine lines and wrinkles,
• Stimulate collagen and elastin production and cell regeneration, thus
improving blood circulation to the skin and the overall appearance of the
skin, including reduced cellulite.
• Energize the lymphatic system, aiding in detoxification.
• Boost immune system.
• Reduce symptoms of eczema and psoriasis, such as redness, itching,
flaking, and swelling.
• Improve mental clarity and focus.
• Reduce cortisol and increases serotonin, reducing stress and depression.
Q: WHY DO SOME OF THE LEDS SEEM DIM?
A: The 30 near-infrared (850nm) LEDs may appear dim or appear not to
be working because near-infrared light wavelengths are not visible to the
human eye.
Q: WHO SHOULD NOT USE THE ALLEVASOLE?
A: Please see the full list of contraindications on page 16 of this manual.
We recommend everyone perform a skin sensitivity test before using this
device.
Q: HOW OFTEN CAN I USE THE ALLEVASOLE?
A: The device may be used up to 3 times daily in the same treatment area,
depending on your wellness goals and tolerance to treatment. Do not use
continuously for more than 40 minutes, and wait at least 6 hours between
treatment sessions.
Q: SHOULD I WEAR CLOTHING OVER THE TREATMENT AREA?
A: For red light therapy to work most effectively, it is best to place the
AllevaSole directly against your skin.

Q: HOW DO I CLEAN THE ALLEVASOLE?
A: Turn off and allow the device to completely cool. Wipe down the inside
and outside of the device with a soft, damp cloth (make sure it’s not too
wet) or an alcohol-based wipe. WARNING! Do not immerse the device in
water or other liquids. Allow the device to dry completely before using it
again.
Do not use abrasive, corrosive, solvent, or chemical cleaners or harsh
detergents. Do not wash in a washing machine.
We recommend using the belt over clean skin or clothing to help keep the
belt clean and cleaning the device after each use.
Q: HOW SHOULD I STORE THE ALLEVASOLE?
A: Store the device in a cool, dry location in the original box. Do not store
