CHECK SEALS
Make sure O-ring and seal are in place and free of dust, dirt, hair and debris
If dirty: remove, rinse in warm water, shake off, reinstall

INSTALLING THE CASE
1. Thoroughly clean iPhone
2. Check seals are clean and in-place
on the rear case
3. Insert the iPhone into the front of
the case aligning the rear
4. Top latch and bottom latch totally closed.
Easy way to do is to put back at on a table
and very rmly press all around the case,
on the top and bottom.
5. Make sure your charge port door is closed
and your headphone plug is screwed in securely

WATER TEST
Your case has been water tested. If you plan to expose your iPhone to water, it is
recommended that you perform a pre-installation water test. Do not install device
during test.
1. Snap case front and back together.
2. Close charge port door and make sure jack cover is screwed all the way in
3. Submerge in water for 30 minutes

4. Submerge underwater,
weighing it down with a coee cup
for an hour.
4. After an hour, bring it out of the water
and check that it’s dry inside.

Votre étui a fait l’objet d’un test d’étanchéité à l’eau. Si vous prévoyez d’exposer votre

N’installez pas l’appareil pendant le déroulement du test.

4. Remove, dry, and look inside for moisture
5. Open charge port door and use a coin to separate case
6. If dry inside, go to Install iPhone. If wet inside, visit www.lifeproof.com/support

INSTALL iPhone
1. Remove any screen protectors and clean iPhone with included cloth
2. Insert iPhone into case front, bottom first, aligning headphone port with
headphone jack cover
3. Snap on case back
4. Close charge port door and make sure jack cover is screwed all the way in
Note: Program Touch ID per manufacturer instructions before installing case.

1. Retirez le protecteur d’écran, le cas échéant, et nettoyez l’iPhone avec le linge fourni
2. Insérez l’iPhone par le bas dans la partie avant de l’étui, en alignant la prise pour
écouteurs avec le couvercle correspondant

HEADPHONE ADAPTOR
1. Unscrew headphone jack cover
2. Insert adaptor and screw in until snug
3. Plug in your headphones

CARE + MAINTENANCE
• Keep O-rings, covers, seals and/or gaskets clean
• Water test before planned water use and retest every three months
• Rinse with fresh water after exposure to soap, chlorine or seawater
• Backup your device’s data regularly
• After major impacts: Inspect for damage and ensure case, ports and covers are sealed.
Redo water test before water use.
