Conne ting able onne tors to Expansion Boards
Take extra are when inserting onne tors to ports of Expansion Boards. Conne tors an be
inserted only one way. With the expansion board fa ing up, look for the soldered “=” symbol on
the left side of the port. The onne tor side with the wires exposed should be fa ing toward
the soldered “=” symbol as you insert into the port. If a plug won’t t easily into a port
onne tor, do not for e it.
In orre tly inserting the onne tor an an result in bent pins inside the port or possible
overheating of the expansion board when onne ted.
Conne ting able onne tors to StripLights
Take extra are when inserting onne tors to ports on the Strip Lights. Conne tors an be
inserted only one way. With the Strip Light fa ing up, ensure the side of the onne tor with the
wires exposed is fa ing down. If a plug won’t t easily into a port onne tor, don’t for e it.
Doing so will damage the plug and the onne tor.

Conne ting Mi ro Cable onne tors to Mi ro Expansion Board
Ports
Take extra are when inserting the mi ro onne tors to mi ro ports of Mi ro Expansion
Boards. Conne ting Mi ro Bit Lights to Mi ro Expansion Boards is similar to onne ting lights
and ables to Strip Lights. With the expansion board fa ing up, ensure the side of the
onne tor with the wires exposed is fa ing down . If a plug won’t t easily into a port
onne tor, do not for e it. Use your ngernail to push the plasti part of the onne tor to the
mi ro port.
Installing Bit Lights under LEGO® bri ks andplates.
When installing Bit Lights under LEGO® pie es, ensure they are pla ed the orre t way up
(Yellow LED omponent exposed). You an either pla e them dire tly on top of LEGO® studs or
in between.

ables down underneath the grey tile before re onne ting it to the ship.
