INSTALLATION OF LENS WALL WASHER AND OPEN
WALL WASHER
Note: Before installing Reflector, make sure the Mounting Frame is
installed with the Junction Box away from the wall to be illuminated
(FIG. 9 & 9A).
FOR OPEN WALL WASHER (6132 Series Only)
1. Remove two Retaining Springs that are near the Junction Box
from the Mounting Frame (FIG 10).
2. Insert two new Retaining Springs (that are provided with the
reflector trim) into pockets on the Mounting Frame (FIG. 10A).
3. Squeeze Retaining Spring into position with pliers (FIG. 10A)
FOR OPEN WALL WASHER (N/S 6132 Series)
1. By hand, bend the 2 retaining springs that are near the junction box
as far back as possible pushing toward J Box.
A. INSTALL WHITE TRIM RING (FIG. 1, 2, 3 & 4)
NOTE: Omit this section if reflector is self-flanged.
1. For overlapping trim installation (FIG. 1) slip White Trim Ring
over Reflector, as shown in Fig 2 & 3.
2. For flangless trim installation (FIG. 4), White Trim Ring is
not required.
B. SNAP-IN (FIG. 5)
Engage Retaining Spring into Slots in Reflector (see FIG. 5) following
chart below. See Frame-in kit for lamp information.
C. PUSH-UP REFLECTOR (N/S 6132 Series)
1. Tilt Reflector so only (1) Retaining Spring (retaining spring closest to
junction box) touches the Kick Reflector. Push reflector up to clear larger
portion of Kick Reflector past the retaining springs and twist into positon.
LENS WALL WASHER
1. Tilt Reflector and insert Socket Cup into ceiling opening on side
opposite Junction Box. Push Reflector up leaving approximately one
inch of the Reflector exposed below the Ceiling Line (FIG. 11).
2. Compress Torsiontite Springs on Lens Trim by squeezing with
fingers. Insert into Slots in Reflector and push up until flush with
ceiling (FIG. 11).
NOTE: To remove Reflector, lift Lens and pull Lens Trim down
(FIG. 12). Disengage the Socket Cup by depressing the Retaining
Spring (FIG. 5). Turn Reflector counterclockwise while pulling
downward. After starting, use both hands to remove (FIG. 7)
OPEN WALL WASHER
1. Tilt Reflector and insert Socket Cup into ceiling opening on side
opposite Junction Box. Pivot Reflector and push it up into ceiling
(FIG 6).
NOTE: To remove Reflector, disengage the Socket Cup by depressing
the Retaining Spring (FIG. 5). Turn Reflector counterclockwise while
pulling downward. After starting, use both hands to remove, see FIG 7.
D. LAMPING (FIG. 8)
NOTE: See Socket Cup Label for lamping information.
Line up Lamp Pins with Socket, tilt lamp base to engage, then bring
Lamp to horizontal position and push into Socket (FIG. 8). To relamp,
CAREFULLY PULL STRAIGHT OUT OF SOCKET WITH ONE FINGER
PLACED ON THE TOP OF THE LAMP.
