Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the USB 3.1 Type C Mini Docking Station. This product has been designed to
provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2 year warranty and free lifetime
technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future
reference.
This USB 3.1 Type C Mini Docking Station allows you to maximise the functionality of a single USB 3.1
Type C port by connecting and simultaneously using an HDMI display, a USB 3.1/3.0 SuperSpeed
peripheral as well as a USB Type C power supply to your Macbook or notebook. And through the RJ45
port you can access a Gigabit Ethernet Network. Please note that a USB 3.1 Type-C port with support for
DisplayPort Alternate Mode is required for HDMI functionality.

Installation & Operation
The USB 3.1 standard allows USB ports to optionally feature DisplayPort Alternate Mode; this uses the
USB C connector as a video output without the need for additional drivers or software. Please check that
your computer supports this feature.
To begin using this Mini Docking Station simply connect the USB 3.1 Type C male connector to the USB
3.1 Type C port of your computer. Any required drivers will be automatically downloaded from the internet.
Connect the HDMI socket of the Mini Docking Station to the video port of your monitor or projector using
an appropriate male to male cable (not included). Use a standard RJ45 Ethernet cable (not included) to
connect to your network. An additional USB device or hub can be connected to the USB Type A port of
the Mini Docking Station,USB 3.1 Gen1 5Gbps data transfer rates are supported whilst legacy USB2.0/1.1
devices may also be connected.
By connecting a compatible USB Type C power supply (not included) it is also possible to charge your
Macbook or Notebook using the Type C Power Delivery port, just connect the power supply to the Power
Delivery port when required.
Please note:
Any interruption of the power supply will cause the USB bus to reset. This is a technical limitation of USB
PD 2.0.

Diese USB 3.1 Typ C Mini Docking Station ermöglicht den Anschluss mehrerer USB Geräte über nur ein
USB 3.1 Typ C Kabel. Sie können gleichzeitig ein HDMI Display und ein USB 3.1/3.0 SuperSpeed Device
nutzen und mit einem USB Typ C Netzteil Ihr Macbook oder Notebook aufladen. Außerdem haben Sie
über den RJ45 Anschluss auch noch Zugang zu einem Gigabit Ethernet Netzwerk. Bitte beachten Sie,
dass für die Nutzung des HDMI Ports ein USB 3.1 Typ C Anschluss mit DisplayPort Alternate Mode
Unterstützung erforderlich ist.

Installation & Betrieb
Der DisplayPort Alternate Mode verwendet den USB Typ C Anschluss als Videoausgang, eine Installation
von Treibern ist daher nicht erforderlich.
Stecken Sie den USB 3.1 Typ C Stecker der Mini Docking Station in die USB 3.1 Typ C Buchse Ihres
Computers. Der Computer wird automatisch die erforderlichen Treiber installieren.
Verbinden Sie den HDMI Anschluss der Mini Docking Station mit dem Ihres Monitors. Dazu benötigen Sie
ein HDMI-Kabel Stecker – Stecker (nicht enthalten), welches im Allgemeinen Ihrem Monitor beiliegt.
Mit einem Standard RJ45 Netzwerkkabel (nicht enthalten) können Sie die Mini Docking Station ans
Netzwerk anbinden.
An die USB Typ A Buchse können Sie ein USB Gerät oder einen Hub anschließen.
Über den USB Typ C Power Delivery Anschluss können Sie bei Bedarf mithilfe eines geeigneten Netzteils
(nicht enthalten) Ihr Macbook oder Notebook aufladen.
Beachten Sie bitte, dass die Unterbrechung der Spannungsversorgung am PD-Port ein Reset des USB
Bus zur Folge hat. Diese technische Einschränkung ist bedingt durch USB Power Delivery 2.0.

Installation & Utilisation
La norme USB 3.1 permet aux ports USB d’offrir en option la fonction DisplayPort Alternate Mode; en
utilisant le port USB C comme une sortie vidéo sans besoin de pilote ou logiciel additionnel. Merci de vous
assurer que votre ordinateur prend en charge cette fonction.
Pour commencer l’utilisation de la Mini Docking Station branches le connecteur USB 3.1 Type C mâle au
port USB 3.1 Type C de votre ordinateur. Tout pilote nécessaire sera automatiquement installé à partir
d’internet1.
Connectez la prise HDMI de la Mini Docking Station au port vidéo de votre moniteur ou projecteur en
utilisant un câble mâle/mâle (non fourni). Utilisez un câble Ethernet RJ45 standard (non fourni) pour la
connexion à votre réseau. Un périphérique ou hub USB peut être connecté si besoin au port USB Type A
de l’adaptateur, les taux de transfert de données USB 3.1 Gen1 5Gbit/s sont pris en charge. Les
périphériques USB 2.0/1.1 peuvent y être également connectés.
En connectant une alimentation USB Type C compatible (non fournie), il est aussi possible de charger
votre Macbook ou Notebook en utilisant le port Type C Power Delivery, il suffit de connecter l’alimentation
au port Power Delivery.
Merci de noter:
Toute interruption de l’alimentation effectue un reset du bus USB. Ceci n’est pas un problème de
l’adaptateur mais une limitation technique de l’USB PD 2.0.

Questa Mini Docking Station consente di ottimizzare al massimo le funzionalità di una singola porta USB
3.1 Tipo C collegando simultaneamente un monitor HDMI, una periferica USB 3.1/3.0 SuperSpeed ed un
alimentatore con porta USB Tipo C di un Macbook o notebook. Tramite una porta RJ45 è possibile
accedere ad una rete Gigabit. Per collegare un monitor HDMI occorre che la porta USB 3.1 Tipo C supporti
la funzione DisplayPort Alternate Mode.

Installazione & Utilizzo
Lo standard USB 3.1 oltre a poter fornire porte USB, può includere la funzione DisplayPort Alternate Mode;
dallo stesso connettore USB C è possibile ottenere un’uscita video senza alcun driver o software
addizionale. Controllate che il vostro computer abbia questa funzione.
Collegate la Mini Docking Station ad una porta USB 3.1 Tipo C sul computer. Eventuali driver vengono
scaricati automaticamente da internet.
Collegate il monitor o proiettore alla porta HDMI della Mini Docking Station tramite un cavo maschio
maschio (non incluso). Collegatevi alla rete tramite un cavo Ethernet standard RJ45 (non incluso).
Potete collegare un hub o dispositivo USB aggiuntivo alla porta USB Tipo A dell’adattatore, supporta
velocità di trasferimento dati USB 3.1 Gen1 5Gbps e anche periferiche USB 2.0/1.1.
Potete collegare un alimentatore USB Tipo C (non incluso) per caricare Macbook o Notebook dalla porta
Tipo C Power Delivery.
Nota Bene:
L'interruzione dell'alimentazione provoca il reset del bus USB, non è un difetto del prodotto ma una
limitazione tecnica propria del USB PD 2.0.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment. Instead,
these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly different ways.
Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic products. More details can
be obtained from your national WEEE recycling agency.
Germany / Deutschland Rücknahme Elektroschrott und Batterie-Entsorgung
Die Europäische Union hat mit der WEEE Direktive Regelungen für die Verschrottung und das Recycling von Elektro-
