Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the LINDY USB 3.1 Type C Notebook 4K Docking Station. This product has been
designed to provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2 year warranty and free lifetime
technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future reference.
The LINDY USB 3.1 Docking Station features all the interfaces needed for a standard workstation making it a great
space saving addition to any hot desk environment. By connecting a single USB 3.1 Type C cable to a notebook
you can quickly access a variety of essential ports, which in turn can be connected to one or two displays,
keyboard, mouse, speakers/headset, external storage and LAN. The same USB Type C cable is also able to
provide power to compatible notebooks using USB power delivery, with support for up to 60W of power. In addition
with dual video interfaces the Docking Station can be connected to either a single HDMI or DisplayPort display, or if
required to both of these displays (at a reduced resolution).

Installation
Connect the Notebook Docking Station to your computer, using the supplied USB 3.1 Type C cable. Any required
drivers will be automatically downloaded from the internet.
Connecting Devices to the Docking Station:
•Monitors: Using an appropriate HDMI and/or DisplayPort cable as required by your monitor/s, connect your
monitor/s to the HDMI or DP port on the docking station. If you want to use 2 HDMI monitors then a DisplayPort
to HDMI converter plus HDMI cable or DisplayPort to HDMI cable may be used. Please Note: Your computer
must support the Display Alternate mode!
•Ethernet: Use a standard RJ45 Ethernet cable to connect the docking station to your network
•USB: Up to four USB devices can be connected to the Docking Station
oUsing either a USB Type A cable (3 ports), with the USB Type A port on the front supporting BC 1.2
standard for faster charging of mobile devices
oUsing a USB Type C cable (1 port, for data only)
•Audio: A 4 pole Headset (including Mic) or Speakers can be attached to this port to provide additional audio
input/output.
Please note: If you need to replace the USB Type C cable used to connect the Docking Station to your Notebook,
please ensure that you use a cable with power delivery capability for this function to work.

Die USB 3.1 Docking Station verbindet Ihr Notebook über ein einziges USB 3.1 Typ C Kabel mit allen externen
Peripheriegeräten (Maus, Tastatur, Lautsprecher, externes Speichermedium, LAN …) inklusive Monitor über HDMI
oder DisplayPort, auch 2 Monitore simultan. Das USB Typ C Kabel unterstützt auch Power Delivery und liefert
kompatiblen Notebooks bis zu 60 Watt.

Installation
Schließen Sie die Docking Station an Ihr Notebook an. Die aktuellen Treiber werden automatisch installiert.
Anschluss von Peripheriegeräten an die Docking Station:
•Monitore: Schließen Sie Ihren Monitor mit dem passenden DisplayPort- bzw. HDMI Kabel an den DP- bzw.
HDMI Port der Docking Station an. Wenn Sie 2 HDMI Monitore anschließen möchten, benötigen Sie einen
DisplayPort- auf HDMI Adapter mit HDMI Kabel oder ein DisplayPort- an HDMI Kabel. Bedenken Sie bitte,
dass Ihr Computer den Display Alternate Mode unterstützen muss!
•Ethernet: Mit einem RJ45 Netzwerkkabel verbinden Sie die Docking Station mit dem Netzwerk.
•USB: Sie können bis zu 4 USB Geräte anschließen.

La Docking Station USB 3.1 LINDY dispose de toutes les interfaces nécessaires à une station de travail standard
afin de gagner un maximum d’espace pour tout environnement de bureau. En connectant un simple câble USB 3.1
Type C à un ordinateur portable, vous pouvez accéder rapidement à une variété de ports dont l’usage est
essentiel, vous pouvez ensuite connecter un ou deux écrans, clavier, souris, haut-parleurs/casque, stockage
externe et réseau local. Le même câble USB Type C est aussi capable de fournir l’alimentation à un ordinateur
compatible en utilisant la fonction USB Power Delivery, avec la prise en charge de jusqu’à 60W de puissance. En
plus des deux interfaces vidéo, la Docking Station peut être connectée à un seul écran HDMI ou DisplayPort, ou
encore si nécessaire à ces deux écrans (avec une résolution réduite).

Installation
Connectez la Docking Station pour Notebook à votre ordinateur en utilisant le câble USB 3.1 Type C fourni. Tout
pilote requis sera automatiquement installé.
Connexion de périphériques à la Docking Station:
•Moniteurs: en utilisant un câble HDMI et/ou DisplayPort requis par votre/vos écran(s), connectez votre/vos
moniteur(s) au port HDMI ou DP de la Docking Station. Si vous voulez utiliser deux écrans HDMI un
convertisseur DisplayPort vers HDMI avec un câble HDMI ou un câble DisplayPort vers HDMI doit être utilisé.
Note Importante: votre ordinateur doit prendre en charge la fonction Display Alternate mode!
•Ethernet: utilisez un câble RJ45 standard pour connecter la Docking Station à votre réseau
•USB: jusqu’à 4 périphériques USB peuvent être connectés à la Docking Station
oEn utilisant soit un câble USB Type A (3 ports), avec le port USB Type A en façade prenant en charge
la norme de charge rapide BC 1.2 (pour les mobiles)
oEn utilisant un câble USB Type C (1 port, pour les données uniquement)
•Audio: un casque avec micro possédant une connectique 4 pins (avec microphone) ou des haut-parleurs
peuvent être raccordés à ce port pour disposer d’entrées/sorties audio supplémentaires.
Note: si vous devez remplacer le câble USB Type C utilisé pour connecter la Docking Station à votre Notebook,
vous devez vous assurer qu’il prend bien en charge la fonction Power Delivery pour bénéficier de cette
fonctionnalité.

Questa Docking Station include tutte le interfacce necessarie per l’espansione di una workstation da un’unica porta
USB 3.1 Tipo C, per poter connettere uno o due monitor, tastiera, mouse, casse/cuffie, memorie di massa e LAN.
Dalla stessa porta USB Tipo C è possibile anche fornire l’alimentazione ai notebook con funzione USB power
delivery, con supporto fino a 60W. La doppia interfaccia video permette di connettere un monitor HDMI o
DisplayPort, o anche entrambi a risoluzioni ridotte.

Installazione
Collegare la Docking Station al computer tramite il cavo USB 3.1 Tipo C. I driver necessari vengono scaricati
automaticamente.
Connessione dei dispositivi alla Docking Station:
•Monitor: utilizzare un cavo HDMI e/o DisplayPort per collegare il monitor alla relativa porta HDMI o DP sulla
docking station. Se volete utilizzare 2 monitor HDMI occorre un convertitore o cavo da DisplayPort ad HDMI.
Nota Bene: il computer deve supportare la funzione Display Alternate mode!
•Ethernet: utilizzare un cavo standard RJ45 Ethernet per collegare la docking station alla rete
•USB: è possibile collegare fino a quattro dispositivi USB alla Docking Station
outilizzare cavi USB Tipo A per collegarsi alle 3 porte dell’hub USB, alla porta BC 1.2 per ricaricare

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment.
Instead, these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly different
ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic products. More
