This device is a switching type power supply and can work with supply voltages in the range 100 - 240
VAC For worldwide usability four different AC adapters are enclosed: Euro type, UK type, US/Japan type
and Australia/New Zealand type. Use the appropriate AC adapter as shown in the picture and ensure it
is firmly secured in place and does not detach by pulling before installing into a power socket.
To reduce risk of fire, electric shocks or damage:
• Do not open the product nor its power supply. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
• Only qualified servicing personnel may carry out any repairs or maintenance.
• Never use damaged cables.
• Do not expose the product to water or places of moisture.

Attach the required country adapter to the plug. Push the adapter firmly, twist to the right until the latch
secures the adapter. To remove, push the button and twist in the opposite direction.

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Lindy USB-C Laptop Docking Station. This product has been designed to
provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2 year warranty and free lifetime
technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future
reference.
This Lindy USB-C Laptop Station features all the interfaces needed for a standard workstation making it a
great space saving addition to any hot desk environment and a flexible solution for mobile working. By
connecting a single USB 3.2 Type C cable to a notebook you can quickly access a variety of essential
ports, which in turn can be connected to up to three displays, keyboard, mouse, speakers/headset, external
storage, power supply and LAN. The included 24W PSU is required for full functionality of the Docking
Station. With support for USB Power Delivery, a laptop’s USB Type C power adapter can be used in
addition to provide up to 100W to power & charge the laptop.

Installation & Operation
Front:
• Host: Connect a Type C source (i.e. laptop or tablet) using a USB 3.2 / 3.1 Gen 1 or above Type C
Male to Male cable. Please Note: Type C source connected must support DisplayPort Alternate
mode;it can also be powered from the PD 3.0 port connecting a Type C PD power supply (not
included).
• USB: Connect USB Type C devices (support up to 5Gbps).
• USB/BC 1.2: Connect USB Type A devices (support up to 5Gbps and Battery Charging 1.2 for fast
charging).
• AUDIO: 3.5mm stereo input/output to connect headphones, speakers or microphone.
• SD/MicroSD: Card reader for SD and microSD cards
Rear:
•LAN: Connect to a network LAN using a Cat.5e or above cable.
•USB: Connect USB Type A devices (support up to 5Gbps).
•DP: Connect a DisplayPort monitor using a DisplayPort Male to Male cable.
•HDMI: Connect a HDMI monitor using a HDMI Male to Male cable.
•PD 3.0: Connect a Type C PD power supply (i.e. of your laptop or tablet) to provide power to the
host computer.
Please Note: The Type C source connected must support PD, the charging power depends on the
PD power supply connected (up to 100W).

Anwendungshinweise für das Netzteil
Stecken Sie den entsprechenden Länderadapter in das Netzteil. Drücken Sie den Adapter fest gegen
das Gehäuse und drehen Sie ihn nach rechts bis er einrastet. Wenn Sie den Adapter wieder vom
Netzteil abnehmen wollen, drücken Sie auf den Knopf und drehen den Adapter in die entgegengesetzte
Richtung.

Diese USB C Laptop Dockingstation verbindet Ihr Notebook über ein einziges USB 3.2 Typ C Kabel mit
allen externen Peripheriegeräten (Maus, Tastatur, Lautsprecher, externes Speichermedium, LAN …)
inklusive Monitor über HDMI oder/und DisplayPort, auch 3 Monitore simultan. Das enthaltene 24W-Netzteil
wird für den Betrieb der Dockingstation benötigt. Durch die Unterstützung von USB Power Delivery kann
das USB-Typ-C-Netzteil eines Laptops zusätzlich angeschlossen werden, um den Laptop mit bis zu 100W

Vorderseite:
• Host: Schließen Sie eine Typ-C-Quelle (z.B. Laptop oder Tablet) über ein USB 3.2 / 3.1 Gen 1
(oder höher) Typ-C-Kabel (Stecker auf Stecker) an. Bitte beachten Sie: Die angeschlossene Typ-
C-Quelle muss den DisplayPort Alternate-Modus unterstützen; sie kann auch über den D 3.0-
Anschluss mit Strom versorgt werden, wenn Sie ein Typ-C-PD-Netzteil anschließen (nicht im
Lieferumfang enthalten).
• USB: Schließen Sie USB-Typ-C-Geräte an (bis max. 5Gbit/s).
• USB/BC 1.2: Schließen Sie USB-Typ-A-Geräte an (bis max. 5Gbit/s; auch Battery Charging 1.2 zum
schnellen Laden wird unterstützt).

Instructions d’utilisation de l’alimentation
Fixez l'adaptateur requis pour le pays d’utilisation sur la prise. Poussez fermement l'adaptateur, tournez-
le vers la droite jusqu'à ce qu’il se verrouille. Pour le retirer, appuyez sur le bouton et tournez
l’adaptateur dans le sens inverse.

•Hôte : Connectez une source de type C (c'est-à-dire un ordinateur portable ou une tablette) à l'aide
d'un câble USB 3.2 / 3.1 Gen1 ou supérieur de type C mâle-mâle. Remarque : la source de type C
connectée doit prendre en charge le mode DisplayPort Alternate ; elle peut également être
alimentée par le port PD 3.0 en connectant un bloc d'alimentation PD de type C (non fourni).
•USB : Connexion de périphériques USB de type C (prise en charge jusqu'à 5 Gbit/s).

Inserire l'adattatore desiderato nella sede dell'alimentatore e agganciarlo. Per rimuovere l'adattatore
tenere premuto il pulsante di rilascio ed estrarre l’adattatore.

La Docking Station per Laptop USB C di Lindy è dotata di tutte le interfacce necessarie per una postazione
di lavoro standard, il che la rende un'ottima soluzione salvaspazio per qualsiasi ambiente desktop o smart
working. Collegando un singolo cavo USB 3.2 Tipo C a un notebook è possibile accedere rapidamente a
una varietà di porte indispensabili, che a loro volta possono essere collegate a un massimo di tre display,

Installazione e funzionamento
Anteriore:
• Host: Collegare una sorgente di tipo C (ad es. laptop o tablet) utilizzando un cavo USB 3.2 / 3.1
Gen1 o superiore di tipo C maschio-maschio. Nota bene: la sorgente di tipo C collegata deve
supportare la modalità Display ort Alternate; può anche essere alimentata dalla porta D 3.0
collegando un alimentatore PD di tipo C (non incluso).
• USB: Collega dispositivi USB di tipo C (supporto fino a 5Gbps).
• USB/BC 1.2: collega dispositivi USB di tipo A (supporto fino a 5Gbps e Battery Charging 1.2 per la

La Docking Station para portátiles USB-C de Lindy cuenta con todas las interfaces necesarias para una

Frente:

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all
waste electrical and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and
electronic equipment. Instead, these products must enter the recycling process. Each individual EU
member state, as well as the UK, has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly
different ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic
products. More details can be obtained from your national WEEE recycling agency.

Hersteller-Informationen gemäß § 18 Abs. 4 ElektroG (Deutschland)
Das Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz (ElektroG) enthält eine Vielzahl von Anforderungen an den
Umgang mit Elektro- und Elektronikgeräten. Die wichtigsten sind hier zusammengestellt.
1. Bedeutung des Symbols „durchgestrichene Mülltonne“
Das auf Elektro- und Elektronikgeräten regelmäßig abgebildete Symbol einer durchgestrichenen
Mülltonne weist darauf hin, dass das jeweilige Gerät am Ende seiner Lebensdauer getrennt vom
unsortierten Siedlungsabfall zu erfassen ist.
2. Getrennte Erfassung von Altgeräten
Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte, die zu Abfall geworden sind, werden als Altgeräte bezeichnet. Besitzer von
Altgeräten haben diese einer vom unsortierten Siedlungsabfall getrennten Erfassung zuzuführen.
Altgeräte gehören insbesondere nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern in spezielle Sammel- und
Rückgabesysteme.
3. Batterien und Akkus sowie Lampen
Besitzer von Altgeräten haben Altbatterien und Altakkumulatoren, die nicht vom Altgerät umschlossen
sind, sowie Lampen, die zerstörungsfrei aus dem Altgerät entnommen werden können, im Regelfall vor
der Abgabe an einer Erfassungsstelle vom Altgerät zu trennen. Dies gilt nicht, soweit Altgeräte einer
Vorbereitung zur Wiederverwendung unter Beteiligung eines öffentlich-rechtlichen Entsorgungsträgers
zugeführt werden.
4. Möglichkeiten der Rückgabe von Altgeräten
Besitzer von Altgeräten aus privaten Haushalten können diese bei den Sammelstellen der öffentlich-
rechtlichen Entsorgungsträger oder bei den von Herstellern oder Vertreibern im Sinne des ElektroG
eingerichteten Rücknahmestellen unentgeltlich abgeben.
Rücknahmepflichtig sind Geschäfte mit einer Verkaufsfläche von mindestens 400 m² für Elektro- und
Elektronikgeräte sowie diejenigen Lebensmittelgeschäfte mit einer Gesamtverkaufsfläche von mindestens
800 m², die mehrmals pro Jahr oder dauerhaft Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte anbieten und auf dem Markt
bereitstellen. Dies gilt auch bei Vertrieb unter Verwendung von Fernkommunikationsmitteln, wenn die
Lager- und Versandflächen für Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte mindestens 400 m² betragen oder die
gesamten Lager- und Versandflächen mindestens 800m² betragen. Vertreiber haben die Rücknahme
grundsätzlich durch geeignete Rückgabemöglichkeiten in zumutbarer Entfernung zum jeweiligen
Endnutzer zu gewährleisten.
Die Möglichkeit der unentgeltlichen Rückgabe eines Altgerätes besteht bei rücknahmepflichtigen
Vertreibern unter anderem dann, wenn ein neues gleichartiges Gerät, das im Wesentlichen die gleichen
Funktionen erfüllt, an einen Endnutzer abgegeben wird. Wenn ein neues Gerät an einen privaten Haushalt
ausgeliefert wird, kann das gleichartige Altgerät auch dort zur unentgeltlichen Abholung übergeben
werden; dies gilt bei einem Vertrieb unter Verwendung von Fernkommunikationsmitteln für Geräte der
Kategorien 1, 2 oder 4 gemäß § 2 Abs. 1 ElektroG, nämlich „Wärmeüberträger“, „Bildschirmgeräte“ oder
„Großgeräte“ (letztere mit mindestens einer äußeren Abmessung über 50 Zentimeter). Zu einer
entsprechenden Rückgabe-Absicht werden Endnutzer beim Abschluss eines Kaufvertrages befragt.
Außerdem besteht die Möglichkeit der unentgeltlichen Rückgabe bei Sammelstellen der Vertreiber
unabhängig vom Kauf eines neuen Gerätes für solche Altgeräte, die in keiner äußeren Abmessung größer
als 25 Zentimeter sind, und zwar beschränkt auf drei Altgeräte pro Geräteart.
