Introduction
Thank you for purchasing from the LINDY Modular Matrix range of products. This range of
products is designed to allow you to create a matrix with 8, 16 or 32 input and output ports. The
input ports can be a choice of C6 HDBaseT, HDMI, DVI or VGA while the output ports can be
HDMI, DVI or C6 HDBaseT. Any of the inputs can be combined with any of the outputs to create
a UHD 4Kx2K@30Hz display over distances of up to 70m and 1080p up to 100m. The modular
design provides the ultimate in flexibility for audio and video distribution as a matrix, convertor
or an extender in retail product demonstration, training and public display application in schools,
pubs etc.

Installation
Make sure all your devices are switched off before making any connections.
All devices must be turned off and disconnected from the mains before installing or removing
any of the modules. You must ensure you have taken appropriate steps to discharge any static
electricity before adding or removing components. Failure to do this could result in damage to
the main chassis or add on boards.
Once all the connections are made, switch on the devices in this order: displays, Matrix,
Network device, RS232 device, source devices.
Please allow a few minutes for the devices to handshake and for the signals to appear.

Einführung
Diese Serie modularer LINDY AV Matrix Switches setzt sich aus drei Grundgehäusen
zusammen, die es erlauben, ein 8x8, 16x16 oder 32x32 Leergehäuse mit zusammen 2, 4 oder
8 EIN- und AUSGANGS-Modulen zu bestücken. Als Eingangs- und Ausgangsmodule sind
Versionen mit HDBaseT, HDMI 4K, DVI und VGA Ports verfügbar, die auch gemischt eingesetzt
werden können, wobei die Eingangssignale jeweils in die passenden Ausgangssignale
konvertiert werden. Das modulare Design stellt damit die größte Flexibilität sowohl für Matrix-
Verschaltung als auch für Konvertierung zur Verfügung. Diese Geräte sind für den
professionellen Einsatz mit hochwertigen Bildsignalen konzipiert, unterstützt werden
Auflösungen bis UHD 4K30.

Installation
Schalten Sie alle Geräte aus und trennen Sie die Verbindungen sowie das Netzkabel bevor Sie
Module ein- oder ausbauen. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine statische Elektrizität an die
Komponenten bzw. Module übertragen wird.
Schließen Sie alle Geräte an und schalten Sie sie ggf. in folgender Reihenfolge ein:
Ausgabegeräte, Modulare Matrix, Netzwerkgeräte, RS232 Geräte, Signalquellen. Umfangreiche
Installationen benötigen möglicherweise einige Minuten zum kompletten Abschluss aller
Handshakes.

Introduction
Merci d’avoir choisi la gamme de produits LINDY Modular Matrix. Celle-ci a été conçue pour
vous permettre de créer une matrice d’affichage avec 8, 16 ou 32 ports d’entrées et sorties. Les
ports d’entrées peuvent être choisi entre des signaux C6 HDBaseT, HDMI, DVI ou VGA tandis
que les ports de sorties pourront être en HDMI, DVI ou C6 HDBaseT. Chacune des entrées
peut être combinée avec chacune des sorties pour créer un affichage UHD 4Kx2K@30Hz pour
des distances jusqu’à 70m et 1080p jusqu’à 100m. La conception modulaire permet de disposer
d’une grande flexibilité pour la distribution de l’audio et de la vidéo en mode matrix,
convertisseur ou extender dans l’exposition de produits de détails, l’affichage dans les lieux de
formation ou publiques, etc.

Installation
Assurez-vous que tous les appareils sont hors tension avant de réaliser les connexions.
Tous les appareils doivent être hors tension et débranchés avant d’installer ou de retirer un
module. Vous devez vous assurez d’avoir pris toutes les mesures pour décharger toute
l’électricité statique avant d’ajouter ou de retirer des composants. Ne pas effectuer cette
opération peut entraîner des dommages sur le chassis principal ou les modules ajoutés.
Une fois toutes les connexions réalisées, mettez les appareils sous tension dans cette ordre:
affichages, Matrix, appareil réseau, appareil RS232, appareils sources.
Veuillez patienter, le temps que les différents appareils communiquent entre eux (handshake) et
que les signaux s’affichent.

Vi ringraziamo per aver acquistato la Matrice Modulare LINDY o uno dei relativi accessori.
Questa famiglia di prodotti è progettato per consentirvi di creare una matrice con una
combinazione di 8, 16 o 32 porte in ingresso e in uscita. Le porte in ingresso possono essere
scelte fra C6 HDBaseT, HDMI, DVI o VGA mentre quelle in uscita fra HDMI, DVI o C6
HDBaseT. Ciascuno di questi ingressi può essere associato a una qualsiasi uscita e connesso
ad uno schermo UHD 4Kx2K@30Hz posizionato anche a 70m di distanza (fino a 100m per se
si utilizza una risoluzione 1080p). Il design modulare fornisce la massima flessibilità per la
distribuzione Audio e Video integrando funzioni di matrice, convertitore ed extender di segnale
che ben si adattano in applicazioni di digital signage, training center, display pubblicitari e simili.

Installazione
Assicuratevi che tutti i dispositivi siano spenti prima di iniziare a fare qualsiasi collegamento e
che tutti i cavi di alimentazione siano disconnessi dalle relative prese prima di installare o
rimuovere un qualsiasi modulo. Assicuratevi di aver preso tutti gli accorgimenti necessari per
eliminare qualsiasi elettricità statica prima di iniziare a maneggiare qualsiasi componente in
caso contrario è possibile danneggiare sia il telaio che le schede connesse!
Una volta effettuati tutti i collegamenti con i cavi appropriati accendete i dispositivi nel seguente
ordine: Schermi, Matrice, apparati di rete, dispositvi RS232, sorgenti.
Attendete alcuni minuti perché tutte le inizializzazioni vengano completate prima che appaiano
le immagini sugli schermi. Sul sito LINDY è disponibile per il download un manuale dettagliato

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment.
Instead, these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly different
ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic products. More
