Getting Started
FULLY CHARGE YOUR
LINKSQUARE DEVICE
PRIOR TO USE.
The Battery Indicator will stop
blinking when charging is complete.
12DOWNLOAD LINKSQUARE
BASIC ON YOUR COMPUTER.
Download the software from the link
provided in your order-related emails.
*Windows 7 or higher is required to install.

4TURN ON YOUR
LINKSQUARE DEVICE.
The Indicator turns blue when
LinkSquare is on.
Getting Started
3ENTER YOUR UDID AND
INSTALL THE SOFTWARE.
Enter the UDID on the Welcome card
that is included in your LinkSquare box.
Insert UDID:
xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx OK

Connecting to Computer
There are two options to connect LinkSquare device and your computer.
Press the LS Button to switch between the two Modes.
ROUTER
Select “IoT Mode” icon on the launch page
of the software and follow the directions.
IoT MODE
CONNECT VIA YOUR
INTERNET ROUTER.
Ensure that the Indicator is set to blue for IoT Mode.
Password:

Wi-Fi
LS-XXXXXXX
Search for “LS-XXXXXXX” Wi-Fi network on your
computer and enter the following password: 00000000.
AP MODE
CONNECT VIA LINKSQUARE’S
BUILT-IN WI-FI.
Ensure that the Indicator is set to green for AP Mode.

Playing with LinkSquare Basic
Connect LinkSquare device and LinkSquare Basic software by
pressing “Connect” icon in the software. The Indicator turns white
when LinkSquare is connected to the software.

Point LinkSquare device straight down at the object to be scanned
and press LS Button or click “Scan” icon in the software to scan.

Click “Disconnect” icon in the software to disconnect LinkSquare
from the software.

You can view the collected data by selecting one from the “Sample”
window. Right click on the sample for more options. You can
also export the collected data to various output file formats.

Check out our mobile app made from
LinkSquare Basic. You can explore the
included Color Palette app and see when
new apps are released.
Note that LinkSquare Basic does not include
a mobile app builder.
2TURN ON LINKSQUARE DEVICE AND CONNECT
TO YOUR MOBILE DEVICE.
Please refer to Connecting to Computer section for two Modes of connection.
3CONNECT LINKSQUARE DEVICE AND LINKSQUARE APP.
Press “Connect” on the app home screen and the Indicator will turn white
when connected.
