Before commencing any electrical work to avoid the risk of electric shock locate and remove fuse
or lock circuit breaker in the POWER OFF position before proceeding. Test the power is OFF
before wiring. Wiring with the power on can result in serious personal injury, re and death.
WARNING: If you are unsure about any part of these instructions, please consult an electrician.
IMPORTANT NOTES CODES: Before use please read completely the safety instructions and
installed and/or used in accordance with all local and national electrical codes and regulations or
latest edition of IEE regulations (BS 7671) in the UK.
BREAKER: Proper short-circuit and overload protection must be provided at the distribution pan-
el. Up to a 10 A maximum circuit breaker/MCB may be used (with adequate short-circuit breaking
capacity for your installation) if used in conjunction with lighting circuit, OR dedicated circuit for
speakers, a 3 A maximum circuit breaker/MCB may be used.
If the unit is to be used as a replacement for an existing product, remove the existing unit from
its location and disconnect the wiring. Connect the wires correctly in the power driver. Ensure
terminals are properly tightened and ensure no bare wires are visible. When tting the speaker into
the ceiling, ensure no wires are trapped
NOTE: To meet US local and national NEC code, for these types of installations you will need
contact your local contractor for installation. Please visit support.litheaudio.com for latest

REFERENCE.
• Failure to follow the instructions in this guide voids all warranties on your speakers.
• Warning: Do not use the product in water.
• Warning: Do not install speaker directly above any heat sources such as radiators, or other
apparatus that produce heat.
• Warning: To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not expose this speaker to rain or
moisture (directly above bath or shower area) or in Bathroom Zone 0 or Zone 1.
• Protect the power cable from being damaged, do not over stretch cable.
• Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer Lithe Audio.
• Turn o the power to the speaker when unused for long periods of time.
• A Fire and Acoustic speaker hood must be used in accordance with local and national
electrical codes and regulations. For the UK, building and IEE Regulations with a re rating of
up to 60 minutes, is Parts B, L, C and E compliant.
• Do not open the back cover to the speaker as this protects the PCB, doing so will invalidate
the warranty and could cause electric shock.
• Ensure speaker location is free from obstructions such as electrical conduit, HVAC ducts or
Water lines.
Please ensure you read the entire instruction manual carefully before you commence any work.
Carefully unpack the speakers from the packaging. Please check to ensure all the parts shown
below are included.

KNOW YOUR SPEAKER
The Lithe Audio LBT2 range of Bluetooth ceiling wireless speakers have various inputs:
SPEAKER OUTPUT - To connect one additional passive (Slave) speaker (Gold Plated)
LITHE-LINKTM - Connect 2 additional LBT speakers (Total 3 masters & 3 passives)
RCA INPUTS - To connect directly from TV Output, Amazon echo, projector etc..
POWER INPUT - To connect (as supplied) Through Power driver
INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT: BEFORE COMMENCING ANY ELECTRICAL WORK ENSURE
THE SUPPLY IS SWITCHED OFF AT THE MAINS. IF YOU ARE UNSURE HOW TO FIT SEEK
HELP FROM A PROFESSIONAL ELECTRICIAN/AV INSTALLER
1. Mark out the position of the speaker using a,
tape measure and mark using a pencil with the
template supplied. Check using a stud nder to
make sure no obstruction is present prior to
cutting.
3. Connect a 110V/240V feed into the Power
Driver. Check Live, Neutral and Earth cables are
in correct terminals. Use xing holes to screw to
joists. Ensure cables are tight and cover is in place.
2. Drill a pilot hole and cut the speaker hole using
a cutting saw. Take caution when
cutting to keep ngers away from cutting
blade and wear protective eyewear.
4. Insert speaker into the ceiling then using a
screwdriver lock the 4 dog leg xings to secure
the speaker in place, do not over tighten.
Attach the magnetic grille to the speaker front.

PAINTING THE SPEAKER GRILLE
Do not paint the speaker grilles whilst attached to the speaker. Lithe Audio reccomends spray paint-
ing using 5 parts thinning agent to 1 part paint. Spray thinly to ensure speaker cover grille holes are
not blocked as this will eect the sound quality of the speakers.
INSTALLATIONS IN FIRE-RATED CEILINGS
If you plan to mount your speakers in a re-rated ceiling, you should purchase a re hood for the
speaker. Visit www.litheaudio.com for more information and recommended hoods.
In built over voltage, under voltage, over temperature, and short circuit protection, if there is an electrical fault,
the power supply to the amplier will cut o automatically and restart when the speaker has stabilised.

Do you have multiple Bluetooth speakers in your home?
Use the Lithe Audio setup App to identify each speaker easily, by giving each zone a unique
name and password. Con gure the speaker to work with Amazon Alexa, Google home or
TV’s wirelessly. For more information visit:

HARD WIRED INPUT- RCA INPUT
To connect other devices that may not have a Bluetooth connection (such as Turn tables, CD
players, mp4 player or mini-discs!)
RCA CONNECTION: To play music via speaker RCA connection connect an RCA cable to
the speaker and play through your device. Ensure ALL Bluetooth connections are turned o to
be able to play through the speaker. The LED will turn green when playing using RCA.
PLAYBACK MODES
To cycle between the playback modes press the ‘Connection Button’ under the grill to change
the mode betweek them.
1. AUTOMATIC MODE: (Flashing Blue) RCA is priority, then Bluetooth then Optical.
2. BLUETOOTH ONLY MODE: (Flashing Blue): RCA and Optical are disabled
3. RCA ONLY MODE: (Flashing Green): Bluetooth and Optical are disabled
4. OPTICAL MODE: (Solid Blue): Bluetooth and RCA are disabled.

NOTE: ENSURE THE BLUETOOTH WIRELESS SPEAKER IS CONNECTED TO THE
POWER SUPPLY AND TURNED ON.
The Led indicator will  ash Blue when ready to pair, turn solid Blue whilst the device is
connected to the speaker and music is playing

connect and pair to the speaker.

change speaker name or add a pin:

PLEASE NOTE: LBT1 DOES NOT INCLUDE PASSIVE SPEAKER
The Lithe Audio Master Bluetooth ceiling
speaker is able to connect to and power an
addtional passive speaker via the speaker output
(+/-). Use wire cutters to strip the ends of the
speaker cable (if required).
This setup is ideal for Kitchen diners or larger
rooms where you want a true stereo setup.

LITHE-LINKTM SETUP
For larger or open plan rooms the Lithe-link feature will allow you to connect up to 3 master
speakers and their passive/slaves and play audio from all the speakers at once. Depending on
which master speaker you connect to and how the speakers are wired will then determine how
many speakers will play.
To connect the speakers you will need a optical cable. Lithe-Link Kit sold seperatly. Connect one end to
the White connector block and the other to the Black connector block.

Adding a connection between the  rst and last master speaker will create a full loop system. When
connected which ever master speaker you connect to, all the masters and their passive speakers will
play. This wll ensure in a large room you will always be in range to a speaker to connect to.
This setup is ideal for open plan rooms where you always want all speakers to play at once.
This con guration will allow you to play only the speaker you connect to and the masters and
passives connect after it with the link cable. For Example, if you have a 6 speaker setup and you
connect to Speaker A then speakers A, B and C will play. If you connect to Speaker B then only
speaker B and C will play. Connect to Speaker C then only Speaker C will play.
This set up is ideal for a  oorplan with multiple areas or rooms where you may not always want
to play the whole area at once.

Q: Speaker has not been found during setup
A: Please check power cord is correctly connected in to speaker and transformer, Check the
blue light is ashing. Press reset button for 10 seconds to reboot the speaker.
Before commencing any electrical work ensure the supply is switched OFF at the mains.
Q: Can the speaker be installed into the bathroom ceiling.
A: The IP rated models ‘LBT2/IP’ can be installed in zone 2 or 3 of a bathroom. Ensure you read
the saftey precautions on page 1 before installation. Warning: Do not use the product in water
or directly above the bath or shower area.

To mask the LED indicator, use the LED cover sticker included

If installing in a hotel room or commercial space you may wish to cap the volume at 50%. Using
the Volume capping switch on the back of the speaker you can select either 100% or 50% max

En la protección de sobretensión, subtensión, sobretemperatura y cortocircuito, si hay un fallo eléctrico, la fuente
de alimentación del amplicador se cortará automáticamente y se reiniciará cuando el altavoz se haya estabilizado.

INSTALACIÓN
IMPORTANTE: ANTES DE COMENZAR CUALQUIER TRABAJO ELÉCTRICO ASEGÚRESE DE
QUE EL SUMINISTRO ESTÁ APAGADO EN LA RED. SI NO ESTÁ SEGURO DE CÓMO ENCAJAR,
BUSQUE LA AYUDA DE UN ELECTRICISTA O INSTALADOR PROFESIONAL
1. Marque la posición del altavoz con una
cinta métrica y márquela con un lápiz con la
plantilla suministrada. Revise con un buscador
de vigas para asegurarse de que no hay ninguna
obstrucción antes de cortar.
3. Conecte una alimentación de 110 V/240 V al
controlador de alimentación. Verique que los
cables Vivo, Neutro y Tierra estén en las termina-
les correctas. Utilice agujeros de jación para ator-
nillar a las vigas. Asegúrese de que los cables estén
apretados y que la cubierta esté en su lugar.
2. Taladrar un agujero piloto y cortar el agujero
del altavoz con una sierra de corte. Tenga cuidado
al cortar para mantener los dedos alejados de la
cuchilla de corte y use gafas protectoras.
4. Inserte el altavoz en el techo y luego use un
destornillador para bloquear las 4 jaciones de la
pata de perro para asegurar
PPINTANDO LA REJILLA DEL ALTAVOZ
No pinte las rejillas de los altavoces mientras esté conectado al altavoz. Lithe Audio recomienda pintar con spray
usando 5 partes de diluyente por 1 parte de pintura. Pulveriza un poco para asegurar que los agujeros de la rejilla
de la cubierta del altavoz no estén bloqueados, ya que esto afectará a la calidad del sonido de los altavoces.
INSTALACIONES EN TECHOS IGNÍFUGOS
Si planea montar los altavoces en un techo ignífugo, debe comprar una capucha ignífuga para el altavoz. Visite

Para conectar otros dispositivos que pueden no tener una conexión Bluetooth (como mesas girato-
rias, reproductores de CD, mp4 o mini-discos!)
CONEXIÓN RCA: Para reproducir música a través de la conexión RCA del altavoz, conecte un cable
RCA al altavoz y reproduzca a través del dispositivo. Asegúrate de que TODAS las conexiones Blue-
tooth estén desactivadas para poder reproducir a través del altavoz. El LED se pondrá verde cuando
se reproduzca usando RCA.
MODOS DE REPRODUCCIÓN
Para alternar entre los modos de reproducción, presione el “Botón de conexión” debajo de la parrilla
para cambiar el modo entre ellos.
1. MODO AUTOMÁTICO: (Azul intermitente) RCA es prioridad, luego Bluetooth y luego Óptico.
2. MODO SOLO BLUETOOTH: (Azul intermitente): RCA y Óptico están deshabilitados

El altavoz de techo Bluetooth Lithe Audio Master es capaz de conectar y alimentar un altavoz
pasivo adicional a través del altavoz out- put (+/-). Utilice cortadores de cables para pelar los
extremos del cable del altavoz (si es necesario). Esta con guración es ideal para los comedores de
la cocina o habitaciones más grandes donde se quiere un verdadero equipo de música.

LITHE-LINKTM CONFIGURACIÓN
Para habitaciones más grandes o de planta abierta, la función Lithe-link le permitirá conectar hasta 3
altavoces maestros y sus pasivos/esclavos y reproducir el audio de todos los altavoces a la vez. Depend-
iendo del altavoz maestro que conectes y de cómo estén cableados los altavoces determinará cuántos
altavoces se reproducirán.
Para conectar los altavoces necesitarás un cable óptico. El kit Lithe-Link se vende por separado. Conecte
un extremo al bloque conector blanco y el otro al bloque conector negro.
