G) 10 - 1 ¼” Slat Screws
H) 36 - 3/4" Pan head screws for corner brackets
TOOLS REQUIRED:
1) Phillips Head Screwdriver - preferably with power drill
Make sure you have all parts before beginning assembly. If you need a part, contact Living Spaces.
1) Attach side bookcase end (B) to twin/full bookcase end (C), 9" x 74 3/4" mattress rail (D), and twin/full 9"
support rail with two angle brackets (A) in each corner (8 total), placing one bracket below the cleat and one
above it, as pictured. ** USE ONLY THE OUTER 4 HOLES OF EACH CORNER BRACKET **
2) Install the ninth angle bracket (A) to hold the bookcases together in the back, as pictured above.
** Again, use only the outer 4 holes on the bracket **
3) Place Slat Roll across bed, to span from Head to Foot of bed, on top of mattress support cleats. Place the
loose (3) slats (F) on mattress rail support cleats in the built in gaps, in accordance with diagram 2 on the
next page.
4) IF you do not use the Slat Roll, be sure to place 3 loose slats in accordance with diagram 1 on the next page.
** 9" Mattress supports are attached to the back of the twin/full bookcase end (C) **
4) Secure 4 corners of Slat Roll, as well as the 3 loose slats at each side, to mattress supports with the 10 wood
screws as shown in diagram 2, next page.
5) Add mattress.

individual slats should be placed evenly in the gaps and underneath the strapping before fastening.
