Diese Einbauanweisung soll dem Techniker die Montage erleichtern.
Die Einbauanweisung (kurz EBA genannt) ist nicht für den Endkunden bestimmt.
Achtung

Hinweis
Diese EBA ist für den Aufrüstsatz (kurz ARS genannt) RJ12/MU/IR-Link Chassis SL1xx verwendbar.
Der ARS ist geeignet für das TV-Gerät: Art 32/37/40/46 LED, Xelos 32/40 LED, Connect 32/40 LED.
Nach dem Einbau des Aufrüstsatzes ist das aktuelle Software-Paket einzuspielen, das Sie unter folgenden

Die Zahlen „(X)“ in Klammern stehen für die Positionsnummer des unter dem Gliederungspunkt „1“ aufge-

Diese Anleitung beschreibt den Einbau des Aufrüstsatzes 70493 080.

2. TV-Gerät öffnen

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker!
Entfernen Sie die Anschlussleitungen vom TV-Gerät.
Entfernen Sie, wenn vorhanden das kurze Verbindungskabel zwischen den Tuneranschlüssen
Lösen und entfernen Sie, entsprechend des TV-Gerätemodels, die auf der entsprechenden Skizze mit Pfeilen markierten
Schrauben.
(Zum Einsetzen der Rückwand verfahren Sie entsprechend umgekehrt.)
Vorgehensweise

Stellen Sie das TV-Gerät wenn möglich so, dass es
von allen Seiten zugänglich ist.
Anschlussabdeckung (Pfeil) nach hinten entrasten
und weg nehmen.

Entfernen Sie die mit Pfeil markierten Schrauben
auf der Rückseite.
Das Öffnen der Schrauben a1 und a2 trifft nur auf
die TV-Geräte Art 40/46 LED und Xelos 40 LED.
Wir empfehlen zum Abnehmen/ Montieren der
Geräterückwand/ Gehäuseteile Handschuhe zu
tragen.
Sie verhindern damit Fingerabdrücke/ Verunreini-
gungen auf der Rückwand.
Die Rückwand kann nachdem alle Schrauben ent-
fernt worden sind, abgenommen werden.

3. TV-Gerät öffnen
Connect 32/40 LED
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker!
Entfernen Sie die Anschlussleitungen vom TV-Gerät.
Entfernen Sie, wenn vorhanden das kurze Verbindungskabel zwischen den Tuneranschlüssen
Lösen und entfernen Sie, entsprechend des TV-Gerätemodels, die auf der entsprechenden Skizze mit Pfeilen markierten
Schrauben.
(Zum Einsetzen der Rückwand verfahren Sie entsprechend umgekehrt.)
Vorgehensweise

Stellen Sie das TV-Gerät wenn möglich so, dass es

Das Öffnen der Schrauben a1 und a2 trifft nur auf
das TV-Gerät Connect 40 LED zu.
Wir empfehlen zum Abnehmen/ Montieren der
Geräterückwand/ Gehäuseteile Handschuhe zu
tragen.
Sie verhindern damit Fingerabdrücke/ Verunreini-
gungen auf der Rückwand.
Die Rückwand kann nachdem alle Schrauben ent-
fernt worden sind, abgenommen werden.

4. Einbau des Modules (RJ12/MU/IR-Link)
Als Beispiel beschrieben am TV-Gerät Art 32 LED
Nachstehende Beschreibung gilt auch für die TV-Gerät: Art 37/40/46 LED, Xelos 32/40 LED, Connect 32/40
LED.
Mos-Bauteile

Beachten Sie die Regeln im Umgang mit MOS-Bauteilen.
Vorgehensweise
Als Werkzeug wird benötigt:
Schraubendreher Torx T10, Schraubendreher Torx T20
Vormontage des Modules (RJ12/MU/IR-Link)
Das Modul (RJ12/MU/IR-Link) wie in der Abbildung 6 dargestellt am Halter anbringen. Zur Befestigung des Modules am
Halter verwenden Sie die mitgelieferten Schrauben. Drehen Sie die Schrauben ein (Abb. 6, Pfeile a1/a2: M3x8, Pfeil b:
M3x5). Sie benötigen hierzu einen Schraubendreher Torx T10.
Am Halter des Modules ist, wie in Abb.7 dargestellt, ein Kontaktschaum anzukleben. Dies vermeidet mögliche Störungen.
Vor dem Ankleben muss die Schutzfolie am Kontaktschaum entfernt werden.
Einbau des vormontierten Modules (RJ12/MU/IR-Link) im TV-Gerät
Der Pfeil in Abb. 8 markiert den Einbauort des Modules.
Nehmen Sie das vormontierte Modul und bringen Sie es wie in Abb. 9 dargestellt am TV-Geärt an.
Achten Sie dabei darauf, dass das Modul an der Halterung einrastet und die Schraubenbohrungen übereinstimmen.
Zur Befestigung verwenden Sie zwei Schrauben. Drehen Sie die Schrauben ein (Abb. 9, Pfeile a3/a4: M3x8).
Schließen sie das Verbindungskabel - falls noch nicht geschehen - an der Stiftwanne des Modules an (Abb. 9).
Abb. 10 zeigt die Kabellage im TV-Gerät. Verlegen Sie das Kabel hinter der Abdeckung nach oben und führen Sie dieses
durch die Kabelhalter (Abb. 10, Pfeile K) zur Stiftwanne (Abb.10, Pfeil S) hin.
Schließen Sie das Verbindungskabel an der entsprechenden Stiftwanne im TV-Gerät (Abb. 10, Pfeil S) an.
Die Installation des Modules (RJ12/MU/IR-Link) ist hiermit abgeschlossen.
Vor dem Wiedereinsetzen der Rückwand muss die Plastikabdeckung (Abb. 11, Pfeil) entfernt werden.
Verwenden Sie dazu ein geeignetes Werkzeug (z.B. Seitenschneider).
Setzen Sie die Rückwand des TV-Gerätes wieder ein und befestigen Sie diese mit den vorher entfernten Schrauben.
Das Modul wird nach dem Einsetzen der Rückwand mit einer zusätzlichen Schraube (im Lieferumfang des Modules
enthalten) befestigt. Drehen Sie die Schraube (Abb. 12, Pfeil c: M4x10) ein. Sie benötigen hierzu einen Schraubendreher T20.
Kleben Sie das Etikett (Abb. 12, Pfeil E) an die entsprechende Position in der Rückwand an.
Schließen Sie die Anschlussleitungen an und setzen Sie die Anschlussabdeckung wieder am TV-Gerät auf.
Abschließend führen Sie eine Funktionskontrolle und Sicherheitsprüfung durch.

Se possibile, collocare l’apparecchio TV in modo
da renderlo accessibile da tutti i lati.
Sbloccare la copertura del collegamento (freccia)
tirandola all’indietro e toglierla.

Rimuovere le viti contrassegnate con freccia
sul lato posteriore.
Le viti a1 e a2 vanno allentate esclusivamente
negli apparecchi TV di tipo Art 40/46 LED e Xelos
40 LED.
Per togliere / montare il pannello posteriore
dell’apparecchio / le parti dell’alloggiamento, è
consigliabile indossare i guanti.
Si eviteranno impronte / tracce di sporco sul pan-
nello posteriore.
La parete posteriore può essere rimossa una
volta tolte tutte le viti.

Pull out the mains plug!
Remove the connecting leads from the TV set.
Remove the short connecting cable between the tuner connections if available.
Loosen and remove the screws marked by arrows in the appropriate sketch according to the TV set model.
(Proceed in the reverse order to replace the rear panel.)

If possible, position the TV set so that it is accessi-
ble from all sides.
Unlatch connecting cover (arrow) to the rear and
remove.

Remove the screws indicated by the arrows on the
rear side.
Opening the screws a1 and a2 is applicable only
for TV sets of the 40/46 LED and Xelos 40 LED
type.
We recommend wearing gloves when removing/
mounting the device rear panel/ housing parts.

The following description applies for the TV set: Art 37/40/46 LED, Xelos 32/40 LED, Connect 32/40 LED.
MOS components
Avoid damage from electrostatic charging.
Observe the rules for handling MOS components.
Procedure
The following are required as a tool:
Screwdriver Torx T10, Screwdriver Torx T20
Pre-mounting the module (RJ12/MU/IR-Link)

Glue a contact foam on the bracket of the module as shown in Figure 7. This prevents potential faults.
Before bonding the contact foam, remove the protective foil on it.
Installing the pre-mounted module (RJ12/MU/IR-Link) in the TV set
The arrow in Figure 8 indicates the installation location of the module.
Take the pre-mounted module and install it in the TV set as shown in Figure 9.
Ensure that the module snaps into the bracket and the screw holes match.
Use two screws for fastening. Turn the screws in (Figure 9, arrows a3/a4: M3x8).
Connect the connecting cable, if not done already, to the pin base of the module (Figure 9).
Figure 10 shows the cable position in the TV set. Place the cable at the top behind the cover and guide it up to the pin base
(Figure 10, arrow S) through the cable clips (Figure 10, arrows K).
Connect the connecting cable to the corresponding pin base in the TV set (Figure 10, arrow S).
The installation of the module (RJ12/MU/IR-Link) is now complete.
Remove the plastic cover (Figure 11, arrow) before re-inserting the rear panel.
Use a suitable tool for this purpose (e.g. cable cutter).
