Quick Reference Guide
MESSAGE WAITING LIGHT: Located in the upper right
corner of the telephone. When you have a message in
voicemail, this will be lit red.
SOFT KEYS: The soft keys are the oval buttons located
directly below the LCD displays that control Speed dial,
voicemail features, and conference
SOFTKEYS ON LCD SCREEN
STA ALLOWS USERS TO ACCESS STATION
SPEED DIALS
SYS GIVES OPTION TO ACCESS SYSTEM
SPEED DIALS
HIST YOU MAY ACCESS CALL HISTORY FOR
OUTGOING AND INCOMING CALLS
CONFWHILE CONNECTED WITH A CALL,
PRESS CONF TO ADD A THRID PARTY TO THE
CALL
VOLUME CONTROL:▼ ▲ DISC
Located below the MIC Lamp, the Volume Control will allow
you to do the following:
Change the contrast of the LCD Display while your
phone is idle.
Change the ringer volume on the phone while your
phone is ringing.
Control the volume of the Speaker / Receiver
during conversation.
FEATURE:This button is used to activate phone functions
RECALL:This feature is used to recall dial tone on your
telephone.
REDIAL:The REDIAL button is for Last Number Redial.
SPEAKER: The SPEAKER button allows for hands free
conversation.
TRANSFER:The TRANSFER button will allow the user to
transfer calls internally.
HOLD: The Hold button places the caller on hold
TO ANSWER AN OUTSIDE CALL:
If the phone is ringing, lift handset and press Line
key if necessary
TO HOLD A CALL:
With a line key lit with an active call press the red
Hold key
Line key will flash
To Retrieve Held Call:
Press the Flashing Line Key
REDIAL
Press the Redial button (LEFT and RIGHT on
Disc)
To scroll through the last numbers dialed press the
up and down soft keys below your display or
continue to press Redial
To dial the number in your display, press the # key
or lift the handset.
CALL TRANSFER:
With call in progress, press TRANSFER
Dial an extension number
or press a speed dial button
To Transfer to an outside line press TRANSFER
Dial your access code + the desired number
Announce the call, and then hang up to complete
the transfer.
3 PARTY CONFERENCE CALL:
While call is in progress on press TRANSFER
Dial the desired number
After call is answered, press Conf & all parties
are connected.
CALL FORWARD ALL CALLS:
This feature allows you to send all of your calls to a specific
extension or outside the office.
TO SET:
Lift handset or press Speaker
Press FWD ALL Key
Dial Destination Extension or enter your access code
+ outside phone number
Wait for SET in display and hang up
TO CANCEL:
Lift handset or press Speaker
Press FWD ALL Key and * or 0 to cancel
Wait for Cancel in display and hang up
CALL PARK SET:
Call Park allows you to put a call on hold in a “virtual”
location 00-19 and pick it up at any other phone.
Press the Call Park key, park location will appear
on LCD screen.
CALL PARK RETRIEVE:
Lift handset and press Park Retrieve key plus
park location.
Held call is connected
DND: (This feature is not available with UCB
Voicemail
Lift handset or press Speaker
Press DND button
Hang up
TO CANCEL:
Lift handset or press Speaker
Press DND button
Hang up
ONE TOUCH BUTTONS: Any button on your telephone
that does not have a designated feature or line appearance
on it may be programmed as a One Touch Button that you
can use for frequently called telephone numbers.
TO SET INTERNAL OR OUTSIDE NUMBERS:
Press FEATURE
Press one touch button to be programmed
Enter your access code and outside number or 4
digit extension
Press FEATURE
TO Label the Button on an 8 button Desiless
Phone:
Press the STA soft key
Press the ENTRY soft key
Select the NAME soft key
Using your keypad, enter in the name.
Press the SET soft key
Press the OK soft key
Reset your phone (Unplug and plug back in) for
your names to appear on the phone.
Program Station Speed Dials:
Press softkey under STA
Press Entry
Press number
Enter 9 and outside number
Press Set
Press OK
To call the speed dials, press soft key under STA to access
speed dials.
CHANGE RING TONE:
Press FEATURE + 3
Continue to press 3 until you reach your desired
ring tone.
Hang up.
CHANGE RING TONE:
Press FEATURE + 3
Press the Up and Down buttons on the
Navigational/Volume control key until you reach
your desired volume.
