Loffler Univerge 3C User manual

MESSAGE WAITING LIGHT: Located in the upper right
corner of the telephone. When you have a message in
voicemail, this will be lit red.
SOFT KEYS: The soft keys are the oval buttons located
directly below the LCD display
NEW CALL GENGENERATE DIAL TONE FOR A CALL
VOICEMAILAUTOMATICALLY DIALS THE VOICEMAIL
EXTENSION ON YOUR SYSTEM
PICK UPUSERS CAN PICK UP ANOTHER RINGING
EXTENSION OR PARKED CALL
END CALL

TERMINATES CURRENT CALL
CONFERENCE

INITIATES/COMPLETES A CONFERENCE
RESUME

TAKE THE CALL OFF HOLD STATUS
DIAL

DIALS THE NUMBER
REJECT

TRANSFERS CALL TO YOUR VOICEMAIL OR
FORWARDING CONDITIONS
VOLUME CONTROL: Navigational Button
Located below the MIC Lamp, the Volume Control will allow
you to do the following:
•Change the ringer volume
•Control the volume of the Speaker / Receiver
during conversation.
FEATURE: This button is used to program a speed dial key
RECALL: Press key to receive dial tone.
REDIAL: Pressing this key redials the last number dialed
SPEAKER: The speaker button allows for hands free
conversation.
TRANSFER: Allows the station user to transfer established
calls to another station
HOLD: The Hold button places the caller on hold.
MIC: Press key to mute microphone. The LED on this key
flashes when microphone is muted. Press key again to un-
mute microphone
TO PLACE AN INTERNAL TELEPHONE CALL:
•Lift handset.
•Dial 4 digit extension number or press Speed dial
button
TO PLACE AN EXTERNAL TELEPHONE CALL:
•Lift handset or press speaker button
•Dial 8and the telephone number
TO ANSWER AN OUTSIDE CALL:
•When the phone is ringing, lift handset or press
speaker button
TO HOLD A CALL:
•With a line key lit with an active call press the red
Hold key
•Line key will flash
To Retrieve Held Call:
•Press Resume softkey or Hold key
REDIAL
•Press the Redial button to call last number dialed
CALL TRANSFER:
•With call in progress, press TRANSFER
•Dial 4 digit extension number
•or press a speed dial button
•To Transfer to an outside line press TRANSFER
•Dial 8 + desired number
•Announce the call, and then hang up to complete
the transfer.
To transfer a call directly to a person’s voicemail, press
TRANSFER, dial *74 + 4 digit extension and press DIAL softkey
FOWARDING CALLS:
Forwarding will now be controlled through the 3C
Desktop application
CONFERENCE CALL:
•While call is in progress press CONFERENCE
softkey
•Dial 4 digit extension or 8+ outside number
•Press CONFERENCE softkey to bring 3 party’s
together
Note: Before Conference is established, press shuttle
to speak directly with party’s individually before
completing conference call
Extension Call Pickup
•Press the Pickup softkey
•Press the Extn softkey
•Enter the 4 digit park extension
Group Call Pickup:
•Press the Pickup softkey
•Press the Group softkey
SPEED DIAL KEYS: Any button on your telephone that
does not have a designated feature or line appearance
on it may be programmed as a Speed Dial Key that you
can use for frequently called telephone numbers.
TO SET INTERNAL OR OUTSIDE NUMBERS:
Press FEATURE button to program
Press Speed Dial Key that you want to program
Enter name
Press OK softkey
Enter 4 digit extension or 8+ outside number
Press OK softkey
Hit OK to select Speed Dial Key
Select Visual and press OK
Select OK to show in Directory
Select SAVE
Select OK
Press EXIT softkey
HEADSET (WIRED OR W/OUT LIFTER):
Press Menu button
Press 3 for User Settings
Press 1 for Headset
Press 1 to Enable/Disable
Press 2 to enable headset
Press OK softkey
Press EXIT softkey
Note: To use Headset, press Headset softkey which
will automatically appear when Headset is enabled
