SECTION ⅠPURPOSE
The operation and maintenance instruction is use to guide users in how to operate and
maintain LNK-ARL-W All-round white light properly.
SECTION ⅡDESCRIPTION
2.1 Introduction
LNK-ARL-W All-round white light is a signal light for boats which meets the requirements of
COLREGS72 standard. The product is supplied by DC 12 / 24 V input wire and controlled
through it as well. Once the light turned on, it can display in 360 °horizontal arc and showing
unbroken white light with visual distance no less than 2 nautical miles. It is usually used as
anchor light to indicate the anchoring status of the vessel. it can also be used as combination
with all-round red light or all-round green light to indicate other operation status of a vessel. Or
it also could be used as stern light and mast light combination (this combination is limited to
use for L<12m vessels only).
The product adopts new LED light source and with plug-in mounting base design. It has the
advantages such as modern design, super energy saving and waterproof. It suitable for all
types of vessels with a length < 50 meters.
2.2 Product Structure
2.2.1 LNK-ARL-W All-round white light consists of Main light body \ Mounting base
\Waterproof connector \ Input wire \ Mounting screws and nut. The structure is shown as
below Figure2-1:

2.4 Marking
2.4.1 Standard product markings of LNK-ARL-W All-round white light is shown as below pictures.

2.4.1.1 Marking information will be fixed on the top of light’s main body.

2.4.1.2 Marking label contains:
①LOGO and website;
②Basic information: Product name, Input voltage, visual distance of the light signal ,
Product type, Manufacturer ;
③Certification Mark.
2.4.2 Type：LNK-ARL-X represent product model number, in which “X”represents
accordingly all-round light. “W”means all-round white light，the model number
for all-round white light is LNK-ARL-W;
2.4.2 2.4.3 Batch No. represents the product manufacturing batch. It consist of 6 digits letter
+ number XX XX XX，which：
①The two digits in the front represent the design version, example: A1, A2, A3……
when the 2nd number increase to 9, the later version shall change the letter, example
B1, B2, B3…… and so on;
②The two digits in the front represent the year of manufacturing, example: 20
represents year 2020;
③The last two digits represent the manufacturing batch of per year. Example: “06”
represents the 6th manufacturing batch of the current year.
SECTION ⅢINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 Installation Limitation
LNK-ARL-W All-round white light suitable for all types of vessels with a length < 50 meters. It is
controlled through cabin controlling panel, and showing unbroken all-round white light signal to
indicate the anchoring status of the vessel.
3.2 Installation Instruction
3.2.1 The LNK-ARL-W All-round white light should be installed on the mast of the fore and aft
centerline of the vessel (or a position as high as possible), and ensure that the light signal is
visible from 360°horizontal direction and unobstructed.
3.2.2 Before installation, remove the screw on the mounting base. Then open the light as Figure
3-1 shows: hold the product mounting base with one hand, grasp the main light body with the
other hand, twist the main light body in a counter clockwise direction. Be aware there is a M4
nut in the groove of the base.
Press the top of the two buckles of the waterproof connector as ①of Figure 3-2 shows and pull
the waterproof connector apart at same time.

3.2.3 Drill three fixing holes at the selected installation position according to the drawing of screw
holes of the light`s mounting base (Figure 3-3) (recommended Dia. of drilling hole is Φ4mm).
When selecting the installation position, ensure that the mounting base is horizontal after fixing,
and the "FRONT " arrow towards front direction of the vessel;
3.2.4 Once fixing hole is drilled, fixing the mounting base by the 3pcs M4 screws (or other screws
choose by users according actual application) as Figure 3-4 shows. And ensure the M4 nut has
been set in to the groove correctly;

3.2.5 After the mounting base fixed, put the wire with waterproof connector through the hole in
the middle of the base. Then connect the input wire as follow: the included extended length of
input wire is 500mm. Users should prepare extra extended wire with corresponding length
according to the actual application. And the wiring diagram between light and control panel of
the vessel as Figure 3-5 shows.
To avoid any function defective of the light, the waterproof process of the joint position for the
wire connection must be reliable.

3.2.6 Then, connect the waterproof connector according to Figure 3-6 and plug it firmly (when
connecting the waterproof connector, make sure that the wire cores with same color are aligned
with each other).

After the waterproof connector is connected, complete the installation according to the steps
shown in Figure 3-7
1) Align the screw hole on the side of the main light body with the position at mounting base
which is about 3cm in a counter clockwise direction against the screw hole on the side of the
mounting base, and then insert the main light body into the mounting base stably;
2) After the main light is firmly inserted, twist the main light body towards clockwise direction;
(after secured, the screw holes on the base and the side of the main body should be aligned.)
3) After above steps, lock the M4 hexagon socket screw by the side. the installation should
complete.

SECTION ⅣSTORAGE REQUIREMENTS
4.1 Storage Environment Requirements
LNK-ARL-W All-round white light should be stored in a clean, non-pollution and liquid-free
environment.
SECTION ⅤSERVICE LIFE &SAFETY
5.1 Product Life
With proper use follow the instructions. The warranty of LNK-ARL-W All-round white light is three
years from the date of manufacture.
5.2 Safety
The wire connection of LNK-ARL-W All-round white light shall be operated by a professional
electrician, and per operation should follow the requirement of Section 3.2.5.
SECTION ⅥINSPECTION
6.1 Inspection Time
LNK-ARL-W All-round white light is a daily navigation signal device to indicate the status of the
vessel. It is necessary to observe whether the product works normally or not during daily using.
6.2 inspection method
The inspection methods of products are as follows:
1) Turn on the product through the control panel of vessel, and visually check whether the
product works normally and showing correct light signal;
2) Visually check whether the appearance of the product is normal and whether the lampshade
is clean and transparent.
SECTION ⅦMAINTENANCE
7.1 The user only needs to confirm whether the product is normal when using LNK-ARL-W All-
round white light, besides that no other maintenance is required usually.
7.2 When cleaning the product, just use ordinary damp cloth. Do not use alcohol, thinner or other
corrosive reagents to wipe the product
7.3 when the product is not functioning right, the user should first check whether the wire
connection of the product input wire and the extended wire joint is okay .
SECTION ⅧREPAIR AND DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS
8.1 Repair Instructions
1) If input wire connection of the product goes wrong, the repairing work should process by a
professional electrician.

2) Except for the problem of wire connection, the product`s main light body cannot be
disassembled or repaired. When the lamp does not work properly during the warranty period,
the user should contact the dealer or manufacturer for assistance. If a product beyond the
warranty period fails, the user should replace it with a new one.
8.2 Disposal Instructions
Dispose of damaged or defective lights in accordance with the local regulations. This process
should be done through an approved environment disposal agent.
