SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

• Please read these instructions carefully, they include important information about the installa-

tion, usage and maintenance of this product.

• The product is for decorative purposes only and not suitable as a household room illumination.

• The light source of this device is not replaceable. If it is defective, the entire unit must be discard-

ed.

• Always switch off the xture when it is not in use or before cleaning it or before attempting

any maintenance work.

• This is not a TOY. Keep it out of the reach of children.

• Keep all products away from chemical, any liquid, heat and direct sunlight.

• Do not submerge the unit into water.

• Don’t use the charger with any other product than this LED-BAR.

• Power OFF after use

OPERATION

WARNING! Never charge the product outdoors or in a wet location. Charge in a dry, indoor location

only.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON CHARGING LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES

1. PRIOR to using the unit for the rst time, please charge fully the battery

2. Charge the battery regularly after each use. Don't wait until it is discharged!

3. DON'T allow the battery to discharge completely, otherwise it will lose 20% of its capacity

or even be totally damaged! If the voltage becomes too low, the internal circuits are not powered

anymore and it will become impossible to recharge the battery!

4. If you don't use the unit for a longer period of time, it is recommended to charge it at 40% of

its capacity and check/charge it once per month.

The life time of the battery depends on the observance of these recommendations.

** BATTERIES ARE NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY **

We cannot be held responsible for damaged batteries further to the non-observance of

these basic rules.

CHARGING THE BATTERY:

If the light becomes dim or starts ashing, the battery is exhausted and needs to be recharged. The

rst charge takes about 8 hours to charge the built-in battery. Switch the unit OFF via the switch

on the bottom, not via the OFF button on the remote control. Remove the charging unit from the

LED-BAR. Insert the supplied mains adaptor into the charging socket.Connect the other end to an

appropriate mains outlet. During charge, the LED indicator lights up in red. When the battery is

charged, the LED indicator is off.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BATTERIES

This symbol indicates that used batteries should not be disposed of with household waste but

deposited in separate collection points for recycling.

WARNING

The supplied remote control contains a button cell. In case of ingestion, it might cause serious in-

ternal burns within only 2 hours that might lead to death.

Keep new and old batteries out of the reach of children.

If the battery compartment doesn't close properly, stop using the product and keep it out of the

reach of children.

If you are in doubt whether the batteries have been swallowed or introduced into any other part of

the body, contact immediately a doctor.

CONSIGNES DE SECURITE

• Lisez attentivement ce manuel qui contient des informations importantes sur l’installation, l’uti-

lisation et l’entretien de cet appareil.

• La source lumineuse de cet appareil n'est pas remplaçable. Si elle est défectueuse, l'appareil tout

entier doit être mis au rebut.

• Eteignez systématiquement l'appareil lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé, avant un nettoyage ou toute

intervention de maintenance.

• Le produit n’est pas un jouet. Tenir hors de la portée des enfants.

• Tenir à l’abri de produits chimiques, des liquides, du soleil et de la chaleur.

• Ne jamais mettre l’appareil dans ou sur l’eau.

• Ne pas utiliser le charger fourni avec d’autres produits

FONCTIONNEMENT

ATTENTION! Ne jamais charger à l’extérieur ou dans un endroit humide. L’appareil doit être chargé

dans un endroit sec et uniquement à l’intérieur.

CHARGER LA BATTERIE:

Si la lumière faiblit ou commence à vaciller, il faut recharger la batterie. La première charge dure

env. 8 heures. Eteignez le produit au moyen du bouton en dessous, pas avec le bouton OFF de la

télécommande. Sortez le module de batterie de son logement en dessous du tabouret. Insérez

l’adaptateur secteur dans la che DC.

Branchez l’autre côté du cordon sur une prise secteur appropriée. Le voyant s’allume en rouge pen-

dant la charge et s’éteint lorsque la batterie est chargée.

NOTE IMPORTANTE: Appareils contenant des batteries Lithium-ion

1. AVANT la première utilisation, chargez complètement la batterie.

2. Rechargez la batterie régulièrement après chaque utilisation sans attendre qu’elle soit dé-

chargée.

3. NE JAMAIS laisser décharger complètement la batterie sous peine de perdre 20 % de sa ca-

pacité, voir sa perte totale! Si la tension devient trop faible, le circuit interne n’est plus alimenté

et il sera impossible de recharger la batterie !

4. Si vous n’utilisez pas le produit pendant une durée prolongée, il est recommandé de charger la

batterie à 40% et de la vérier/charger une fois par mois.

La durée de vie de la batterie dépend du bon suivi de ces conseils.

suite au non-respect de ces règles de base.

RECOMMANDATIONS POUR LES BATTERIES

Ce pictogramme indique que les piles et batteries usagées ne doivent pas être jetées avec les

ordures ménagères, mais déposées dans des points de collecte séparés pour être recyclées.

AVERTISSEMENT

La télécommande fournie contient une pile bouton. Si la pile bouton est avalée, elle peut provoquer

de graves brûlures internes en 2 heures seulement et peut entraîner la mort.

Conserver les piles neuves et usées hors de portée des enfants.

Si le compartiment pile ne se ferme pas correctement, cesser d'utiliser le produit et tenir hors de

portée des enfants.

En cas de doute concernant le fait que les piles pourraient avoir été avalées ou introduites dans une

partie quelconque du corps, consulter immédiatement un médecin.
