Lire avant utilisation
Consignes de sécurité:
Attention! Ne jamais orienter intentionnellement le faisceau lumineux en direction de ses propres
yeux ou des yeux d’autrui. Si les yeux rencontrent le faisceau lumineux, fermer les yeux et tourner la
tête dans une autre direction. N’utiliser aucun instrument optique fortement focalisant pour observer
le faisceau lumineux. En cas d’utilisation commerciale ou dans le secteur public, l’utilisateur doit être in-
formé conformément aux prescriptions en matière de prévention des accidents pour les faisceaux laser.
Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés de 8 ans et plus, par des personnes pré-
sentant des capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites ainsi que par des per-
sonnes n’ayant pas d’expérience dans la manipulation de tels appareils sous la surveillance
d’une personne responsable de leur sécurité. Ne pas utiliser plusieurs lampes en même
temps au risque d’augmenter le rayonnement optique et ainsi le danger de lésion rétinienne.
Attention! Groupe de risque 2: Rayonnement optique dangereux possible! Ne pas regarder
pendant longtemps dans la lampe en fonctionnement. Peut être nocif pour les yeux.
Danger d’éblouissement: Le fort éblouissement de la lampe peut provoquer des troubles
temporaires de la vue et des images rémanentes, pouvant entraîner des irritations, détériorations ou
accidents.
Charger la batterie avant la première utilisation. Cette lampe peut cesser de fonctionner à tout
moment.
Il est donc judicieux de toujours avoir une petite lampe de secours à portée de main. En cas de dom-
mage externe ou interne, ne jamais réparer la batterie soi-même!
Arrêt automatique du Bluetooth: Si la tête de lampe est connectée à la batterie, mais qu’elle n’est pas
allumée, le module Bluetooth s’éteint automatiquement après deux heures. La lampe peut unique-
ment être rallumée après avoir de nouveau branchée la batterie ou par pression du bouton sur la tête
de lampe. Elle ne peut pas être rallumée via l’émetteur radio Bluetooth.
Dégagement de chaleur: Le boîtier de la lampe Piko R peut devenir chaud, toujours se tenir à une
distance raisonnable des matériaux inammables. Le mode statique (p. ex. sans refroidissement par
déplacement d’air) peut être exécuté à tout moment, il n’endommage pas la lampe. En cas de fonction-
nement à l’arrêt, la luminosité de la lampe diminue après quelques minutes. Cela est normal et permet
de réduire la température de la lampe. Le fonctionnement continu à 20W est uniquement possible en
cas de déplacement d’air!
Toujours retirer la batterie de la tête de lampe lors du transport.
Étanchéité? Tous les composants de la lampe Piko R sont étanches et peuvent être utilisés dans toutes
les conditions. La lampe respecte les exigences de la classe de protection IP68, elle ne convient toutefois
PAS à la plongée et à une utilisation continue sous l’eau.

Fonctionnement de la lampe Signication de la couleur de la LED
Une fois la lampe branchée, le logiciel exécute un test automatique.
La lampe ainsi que les LED rouge, verte et bleue sur le bouton s’allument brièvement une fois.
Ensuite, la tension de la batterie est indiquée via les LED bleue et rouge.
Le processus se déroule comme suit:
D’abord clignote la  LED bleue 1 fois par volt,
ensuite clignote la  LED rouge 1 fois par 1/10 volt.
Exemple:
Le bouton clignote 7fois bleu et 5fois rouge
= la tension mesurée en charge est de 7,5V.
Initialisation et indicateur de tension:
Niveau de tension de la batterie

Appuyer une fois sur le bouton pour allumer la lampe à la puissance maximale. La LED bleue s’allume.
Arrêt:
Maintenir longuement le bouton appuyé pour éteindre la lampe.
La lampe est allumée à la puissance maximale.
La lampe est allumée à un niveau d’éclairage inférieur.
1. Alarme de la batterie, capacité restante faible.
Le bouton s’allume en rouge.
Remarque: La programmation peut inuencer le déclenche-
ment de l’alarme de la batterie (alarme batterie vide).
2. Alarme de la batterie, capacité restante très faible.
Le bouton clignote en rouge, la lampe clignote 1x.
Attention!
Si la batterie est vide et que la LED rouge clignote depuis
plusieurs minutes, les LED rouge et bleue commencent
à clignoter en alternance, et la lampe clignote également
plusieurs fois.
Arrêter immédiatement! La lampe va s’éteindre!
En fonction de l’âge de la batterie, la batterie de secours
fonctionne encore
quelques minutes (uniquement à un niveau d’éclairage
faible) après la remise en marche. Si la batterie est entiè-
rement vide, l’arrêt de la lampe est forcé: il faut donc faire
preuve de prudence!
Remarque: En cas d’utilisation exclusivement à 2W ou
moins, aucune batterie de secours n’est disponible.

Réglages par défaut
Par défaut, la lampe Piko R fonctionne en mode à 3niveaux. D’autres programmes d’éclairage sont dis-
ponibles. Pour cela, il sut de maintenir le bouton appuyé jusqu’à ce qu’il s’allume en rouge ou en bleu
conformément au tableau suivant. Le réglage sélectionné est enregistré dès que le doigt est retiré du
bouton.

Pour activer la lumière diuse ou le SOS (suivant la programmation), maintenir le bouton sur
la tête de lampe appuyé jusqu’à ce qu’il s’allume brièvement en rouge, puis le relâcher immé-
diatement. Le niveau d’éclairage correspondant est activé. La conguration lumière diuse ou
SOS peut être sélectionnée dans le schéma de programmation. (S’allume 5x en rouge.)
Le niveau d’éclairage dius peut être activé ou désactivé dans le programme d’éclairage
correspondant. Par défaut, la lampe éclaire par exemple uniquement à 20 et 6W en cas de
lumière diuse désactivée.
L’achage via les LED sur le bouton est réduit au minimum
(p. ex. aucun test de tension lors du branchement de la batterie).
En cas de coupure de tension, la lampe éclaire au dernier niveau d’éclairage utilisé une fois la
tension rétablie, et ce, sans avoir à l’activer manuellement.
Exemple: Si la batterie est déconnectée de la lampe pendant le fonctionnement de cette
dernière et qu’elle est reconnectée, la lampe éclaire au dernier niveau d’éclairage utilisé.

Un mode de clignotement lent supplémentaire est disponible dans ce mode.
RVLR: (3niveaux RVLR)
La lampe s’allume au niveau minimal.
La lampe peut uniquement être allumée par double-clic rapide. Cela est pratique pour les
personnes souhaitant éviter que la lampe ne s’allume par inadvertance (p. ex. dans un sac à
dos).
Réinitialise les réglages par défaut de la lampe sans annuler la connexion
Bluetooth à la télécommande.

Maintenir le bouton de la lampe appuyé jusqu’à ce qu’il s’allume en vert, puis le relâcher

s’allume également en vert. Relâcher le bouton de l’émetteur radio. La lampe et l’émetteur
sont désormais couplés l’un avec l’autre.
Couplage avec l’appli:
Démarrer Light Control 2.0. Sélectionner Piko et maintenir le bouton de la lampe appuyé
jusqu’à ce qu’il s’allume en vert conformément au schéma de programmation (voir la page 6),
puis le relâcher immédiatement.

Pour la coupler avec un autre émetteur, commuter la tête de lampe en mode réception.
Maintenir le bouton de la lampe appuyé jusqu’à ce qu’il s’allume en vert, puis le relâcher immédiate-
ment. Le récepteur est désormais prêt à recevoir pendant environ 30secondes.
Pendant ce laps de temps, maintenir ensuite le bouton de la télécommande appuyé jusqu’à ce qu’il
s’allume également en vert.  Relâcher l’émetteur. La lampe et l’émetteur sont désormais couplés
l’un avec l’autre.
Plusieurs têtes de lampe et un émetteur:
Jusqu’à cinq têtes de lampe peuvent être couplées à un émetteur.
Plusieurs émetteurs et une tête de lampe/découplage:
Jusqu’à quatre émetteurs radio peuvent être couplés avec la tête de lampe. Cela se déroule comme dé-
crit précédemment. Pour découpler un émetteur radio, commuter la tête de lampe en mode réception
et maintenir l’émetteur radio appuyé jusqu’à ce qu’il s’allume en rouge (environ 20s, après le clignote-
ment vert et bleu), puis relâcher le bouton.
Par défaut, la lampe est déjà couplée avec l’émetteur radio.
Couplage de la lampe à l’émetteur:

L’émetteur radio Bluetooth est livré avec le support de guidon (lampes de casque) ou le support de poi-
gnet (lampes frontales) Peppi V5 adapté. En pédalant, l’emplacement de xation idéal de l’émetteur radio
se trouve à côté de la poignée pour permettre une maîtrise parfaite par l’utilisateur, et ce, sans lever la
main du guidon. Le support de poignet peut par exemple également être monté à un bâton de ski.
En cas de pile bouton pleine, les LED sur l’émetteur brillent fortement. En cas de diminution de la
tension, la luminosité faiblit jusqu’à ce que l’émetteur radio ne fonctionne plus. Un froid extrême
peut également entraîner une diminution de la tension de la batterie.
Remplacement de la batterie de l’émetteur:
Pour le remplacement de la batterie, dévisser les 4vis de la face inférieure de l’émetteur avec un
tournevis Torx T5. Placer la nouvelle pile bouton CR 2032 comme illustré et refermer le boîtier.
Serrer les vis jusqu’à ce que le joint soit visiblement comprimé.

Alarme de la batterie de l’émetteur:
Pour l’activation ou la désactivation, maintenir le bouton radio appuyé pen-
dant environ 10secondes: les deux LED au niveau du bouton radio doivent
d’abord s’allumer en vert, puis en bleu.  Relâcher le bouton radio.
Activation/désactivation du voyant LED continu
au niveau du bouton radio:
Le voyant LED sur le bouton radio suit le même schéma que celui sur la tête de lampe.
L’alarme ne se déclenche pas si la pile bouton de l’émetteur est vide.

À l’aide du support de casque pour batterie
2.0 et de la bande velcro large, la batterie
peut être montée directement sur le casque.
La xation de cette lampe ne nécessite aucun outil. La lampe de casque peut être montée sur tous les
casques de vélo avec évents.
Faire passer l’autre extrémité dans les évents du
casque, puis dans la deuxième ouverture du support
de lampe. Serrer la bande velcro autant que possible.
La lampe peut désormais être enchée dans le sys-
tème FrontClick. (Pour de plus amples instructions, voir
la vidéo YouTube «LupineLights».)
Enler la bande velcro étroite côté inscription Lupine
sur environ 4cm dans le côté gauche du
support de lampe, la rabattre et la refermer.
La batterie FastClick est poussée vers le bas
dans le support de batterie FastClick sur le ban-
deau grâce au câble jusqu’à s’encher.

Grâce à un câble de rallonge, il est pos-
sible de transporter la batterie dans un
sac à dos ou dans une poche de veste.
Le support de batterie FastClick sur le
bandeau peut être remplacé par un
dispositif de dérivation de câble corres-
pondant.

Suivant le diamètre du câble, utiliser pour le
montage la bande velcro courte ou longue.
Placer la bande velcro autour du câble, de
sorte que le revêtement antidérapant à l’in-
térieur ore un maintien supplémentaire.

Types de batterie:
Les batteries Lupine HardCase sont équipées
d’une languette au verso et xées à l’aide
d’une bande velcro.
Les batteries Smartcore disposent également
d’un indicateur de capacité.
Les batteries FastClick ne peuvent pas être
montées à l’aide d’une bande velcro. Toute-
fois, elles peuvent être directement en-
chées dans le système à clic pour batterie
sur le bandeau ou xées avec le système 3M.
Sonore:
Il sut d’appuyer brièvement sur le pavé tactile pour lire
la capacité. Un signal sonore retentit d’abord, il permet
de vérier rapidement et exactement la capacité restante
par palier de 20% lors d’une utilisation sur le casque ou le
bandeau.
Indicateur de capacité
Exemple: 3LED (20%, 40%, 60%) s’allument
1LED (80%) clignote
Optique:
L’achage LED optique a lieu via 5LED de contrôle. Les LED possèdent
deux modes de fonctionnement: clignotement et allumage continu. Il s’ap-
plique alors: une LED allumée en continu correspond à un palier de 20%,
alors qu’une LED clignotante correspond à un palier de 10%.

Accessoires et informations supplémentaires concernant le dispositif FrontClick Accessoires
FrontClick avec support 3M:
La plaque de xation ultrane est xée au
casque à l’aide d’un patin adhésif 3M spécial
et la lampe est simplement enchée.
Support GoPro:
Notre lampe Piko R peut être montée au dispositif de xation stan-
dard GoPro à l’aide d’un support CNC spécial fabriqué par nos soins.
Appuyer dessus pour déverrouiller la lampe.
Placer la tête de lampe au centre du support comme illustré, puis la
faire glisser dans le sens de la èche jusqu’à ce qu’elle s’enche.

USB One
Le dispositif USB One transforme la batterie Lupine en une batterie ex-
terne portative. Elle permet de recharger la quasi-totalité des appareils
USB en un minimum de temps. (Article n°444.)
USB Charger
Le dispositif USB Charger permet de recharger très rapidement les batteries Lupine à l’aide
d’un chargeur de téléphone, d’un panneau solaire ou via le port USB d’un ordinateur.

Charge, entretien et stockage Résolution des problèmes
1. Brancher le chargeur Wiesel fourni à une prise.
2. Connecter le chargeur à la batterie.
3. Le processus de charge démarre automatiquement, la LED s’allume en rouge.
4. Une fois le processus de charge terminé et la batterie pleine, la LED s’allume en vert.
Charge de la batterie:
 Attention! Utiliser uniquement des batteries Li-ion rechargeables avec ce
chargeur. Il ne convient PAS à la recharge de batteries Ni-MH!
 Ne pas utiliser de piles sèches: risque d’explosion!
Ce chargeur peut UNIQUEMENT être ouvert par le fabricant!
Avant toute période d’inutilisation prolongée, charger la batterie entièrement et la stocker dans un lieu
aussi frais et sec que possible, par exemple une cave, etc.
Lampe:
En cas d’encrassement, nettoyer l’extérieur de la lampe et du faisceau de câbles à l’eau chaude et avec
un peu de produit de lavage.
Attention! La tête de lampe Piko R ne doit pas être ouverte, car elle ne serait plus étanche et cela annu-
lerait tout droit de garantie. Avant de corriger une erreur soi-même, contacter notre service après-vente.
Batterie:

Données techniques Read this manual before using
Safety instructions:
Warning! Avoid looking directly into the light emitted by the light or shining the light into your own
eyes or the eyes of another person. If the light accidentally shines into your eyes, close your eyes and
move your head out of the light beam. Do not use any strongly focusing optical device to look at the light
beam. In cases where the light is used in a public or commercial setting, users should be provided with
training concerning the safety measures for laser light.
This device may then be used by children 8 years of age or older, persons with limited physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, as well as persons with no previous experience in handling such devices, if they
are supervised by a person responsible for their safety .
Attention! Risk group 2: Proven optical radiation! Do not look into the lamp for a long time
during operation. May be harmful to the eyes. Danger of glare: The strong glare of the lamp
can be temporary Eyesight and afterimages feel dying Irritation, authorizations or treatment
commands can.
Re-charge you battery before using the light. Carry a spare light with you at all times, as the
product can potentially fail unexpectedly at any time. In the event of any physical or internal battery
failure, do not attempt to repair. No user-servicable parts!
Automatic cuto BLUETOOTH:
If the lamphead is connected to the battery, without switching the light on, the Bluetooth module will au-
tomatically deactivate after 2 hours. You now can NOT turn on the light via the Bluetooth remote. Either
press the lampheads switch, or reconnect the battery to start the Bluetooth module or light.
Heat generation: The housing of Piko R may heat up; so make sure that you always keep the light at a
safe distance to any combustible or ammable materials. Could cause re or death! However, quiescent
operation (without cooling the light housing via airow or the like) is possible at any time and will not
damage the product. When the light is being used in a stationary state, the light will be dimmed after a
few minutes to reduce the light's temperature. Continuous operation at 20 watts is only possible with air
owing over the housing!
Important! Always disconnect the battery from the light at transport or storage!
Otherwise the small amount of power used by the electronics will discharge the battery, and the lamp
may be switched on accidentally.
Water resistance: All Piko R components are waterproof and can of course be used under extremely
severe conditions. The lamp complies with IP protection class 68 but is NOT a diving lamp and is NOT
suitable for use under water.

After connecting the lamp to the battery, the software runs a selftest. The lamp itself as well as the
red and blue LEDs in the switch light up once. The battery voltage is indicated by the blue and red
LEDs, as follows:
 The blue LED ashes once for each volt; and then
 the red LED ashes once for each 1/10 of a volt.
Example: The LED ashes seven times blue and ve times red = battery voltage is 7.5 V.
Initialization & voltage display:

The rst press of the button switches on the light with maximum power. The blue LED is illuminated.
To turn o the lamp, keep the button pressed.
Note: The light outputs the maximum amount of light only if airow lowers the temperature of the
light suciently. If the light is not cooled by airow, its power is reduced incrementally to prevent the
LEDs and electronic elements from overheating.
Meaning of LED colours
Lamp is on high beam.
Lamp is on a lower beam.
1. Battery Warning, low capacity remaining.
The red LED is lighting.
You can adjust the timing of the battery warning,
see progamming on next page.
2. Battery Warning, very low capacity remaining.
The red LED is ashing and Piko R ashing ones, too.
Warning!
The red and blue LED ashing in turn, the lamp ashes 30
times. Stop immediately! The light will be switched o.
After switching the light on again, reserve power at a low beam
is available. When reserve power is completely discharged, the
light will be switched o automatically. So slow down!
Note: The burn time remaining after the red LED is illuminated
depends on the total battery capacity, the ambient tempera-
ture and the age of the battery.

Programming
By default, the Piko R operates in the 3-step mode, several other light programs are available.
They are very easy to select by simply keeping the button pressed until the button's red or blue LED
ashes once, twice, etc. When taking your nger o the button accordingly, the setting will be saved.

To activate diuse light or SOS (depending on the programming), keep the button of the
lamphead pressed until it lights up red once, let go immediately. The light setting is activated.
You choose and setup the diuse light or SOS further down in the programming.
The diuse light level can be activated or deactivated in the respective light program.
Example: When it‘s deactivated the default light setting would only light with 20W and 6W.
The LED indications will be reduced to a minimum. For example, there's no voltage display
after connecting the lamphead to the battery.
When the power is interrupted/disconnected and current ows again, the lamp lights up in
the last used light level without having to switch it on manually.
Example: If the battery is disconnected from the lamp while it‘s on and the battery is recon-
nected, it will light in the last used light level.

This mode includes an additional slow ash mode.
RVLR: (3-step RVLR)
The lamp will not start at maximum power as by default, but at the lowest stage.
The lamp may only be switched on with a quick double click. Useful for anybody who wants to
avoid that the lamp is switched accidentally in particular during transport
(e. g. in a backpack).
Resets the lamp to default setting without disconnecting the Bluetooth connection to the
remote control.

lamphead pressed, until it lights up green as shown in the programming sheme
(p. 24), let the button go immediately.

Enable/Disable the remotes permanent LED light:
Keep the remote button depressed: The LEDs must turn green then blue again.

Low battery warning from lamphead:
The remote mirrors the lamphead's low battery warning.
A fully charged or partly discharged battery will be shown by a red LED light.
Details see page 36.
There will be no warning if the remotes button cell itself is empty.
Low button cell:
With decreasing voltage, the remotes LEDs will also become weaker, to the point
the remote does not work anymore. Also cold temperature does reduce the
battery voltage.
Transmitter battery change:
For changing the battery, loosen all 4 screws at the bottom
of the transmitter using a T5 torx screw driver.
Insert the new CR 2032 button cell as shown and close
the transmitter again.
Tighten the screws until the sealing is visibly squeezed.

Bluetooth Remote
For establishing a connection, the receiving mode in the lamp has to be activated.
Keep the lamp’s button depressed the switch turns up green (after 15 sec) and let the button go.
The receiving mode is active for 30 seconds. During this time, press the remote control’s button
until the remote does light up green, too. release the button.
Several lamps on one transmitter:
It is possible to connect up to ve lampheads to a single remote switch.
Several transmitters on one lamp / Unbinding:
Up to 4 transmitters may be connected to one lamp. The transmitters are stored in the lamp in turn.
If you like to remove a transmitter from the light, set the light into receiving mode and keep the switch of
the transmitter pressed until it turns red. (Aprox. 20 sec.)
Bluetooth Remote
By default, your lamp has already been connected to the transmitter.
Connecting the transmitter to the light:
The Bluetooth Remote comes together with the Peppi V5 barmount (helmet & bikelights) or a bracelet
(Headlamps). On the bike, the best way to mount the remote is directly next to your grips so you have
full control and don't need to take o your hands while riding. The bracelet can be attached to a lot of
other things like ski poles, too.

Helmet Mount
With the provided battery mount 2.0 and the
broad velcro the battery can be mounted directly
on the helmet.
No tools are required for mounting this lamp. The helmet mount is already mounted to the lighthead.
You can attach this helmet light to almost any kind of helmet with ventilation openings.
Then pull the other end of the velcro through the
ventilation openings available on your helmet and x
it on the other side of the helmetmount. Tighten the
velcro to avoid slipping of the lamphead during use.
Insert the lamphead into the FrontClick mount.

Operation SmartCore battery
Audible:
To check the capacity, simply press the touch-pad once. At rst
an audible signal will sound, which is especially useful while using
the battery mounted on a helmet or headband, to give a quick
reading in 20% steps.
Capacity Indicator

Visible:
The visible indicator uses 5 red LEDs. The LEDs can operate in two
dierent operating states: blinking and continuous. LED meanings:
A blinking LED is indicating a 10% step and a continuously glowing
LED a 20% step.

Your battery is supplied with a velcro
strap, coated with an anti-slip material
to ensure a secure mount. Use the
strap which most closely matches your
tube size.

detergent.
Important!
Because of the delicate seals, we do not recommend to open the lamp.
