system.
The system enables a simple and reliable cali-
bration of driver assistance systems, such as
camera and radar.
All rights reserved.
The total or partial reproduction of this manual,
whether on paper or in electronic form, is pro-
hibited.
Printing is permitted for the exclusive use of user
and operators of the equipment to which this
manual refers.
MAHLE Aftermarket Italy S.p.A. and the resourc-
es employed in the production of this manual do

3.1
Purpose of the manual
This manual describes the procedures to be fol-
lowed for the unpacking, installation and initial
setup of the Digital ADAS 2.0 system.
In case of any doubts about the correct inter-
pretation of the instructions, please contact the
Technical Assistance Service to obtain the nec-
essary clarifications.
3.2
Recipients
The installation manual is intended for
distributors, dealers and resellers of the Digital
ADAS 2.0 system.
3.3
Supply and storage
This manual is provided in electronic format.
Keep this manual with the equipment for easy
reference.
This manual is an integral part in terms of safety,
therefore:

4. Safety
4.1
General safety warnings
Read this instruction manual care-
fully before installing the equip-
ment.
nUse only original accessories distributed by
MAHLE
nThis equipment cannot be used by children
and people with reduced physical, sensory
or mental abilities or with a lack of experi-
ence and knowledge
nChildren must not play with the equipment.
Cleaning and maintenance under the re-
sponsibility of the user must not be carried
out by children
nContact of the equipment with water or liq-
uids is prohibited
nDuring maintenance operations on the
equipment, no mechanical or electrical
parts must be modified
nThe equipment's connection to the power
supply must be carried out in accordance
with the national wiring regulations, and the
power cord for connection to the external
ground wire must be reliable
nDo not use the equipment if the plug, the
power cord or the equipment are damaged
nIf not expressly required, do not use the
system with the vehicle in motion
nAlways place and use the equipment on a
dry, stable, level and horizontal surface
nAlways unplug the equipment after use and
before handling, cleaning or maintenance

Intended use
The equipment covered by this manual has been
designed for a simple and reliable calibration
of driver assistance systems, such as cameras
and radar. Digital ADAS 2.0 must be used
in conjunction with a scantool produced by
MAHLE Aftermarket Italy S.p.A. (see manual of
the scantool instrument).

6. Receiving and unpacking the equipment
6.1
Receiving the equipment
Digital ADAS 2.0 is delivered to the dealer com-
pletely disassembled. The material is placed on
a pallet inside cardboard boxes.
Upon receipt of the equipment:
nCheck the product code, description and
serial number on the packaging carton
nCheck that the product has not suffered
shocks and/or damage
There is a shock control device on the carton. If
the control device is red, follow the instructions
indicated on the label and notify MAHLE
Aftermarket Italy S.p.A.

7.1
Permitted environmental
conditions
The environment in which the equipment is used
is an indoor environment protected from atmo-
spheric agents such as rain, hail, snow, fog, sus-
pended dust, combustible dusts, must not be
a classified environment and must be sheltered
from aggressive agents such as corrosive vapors
or sources of excessive heat.

7.3
Fitting the feet
Inside the accessories box, there are 4 feet, nec-
essary for a possible stabilization of the struc-
ture, in case of excessive slant of the surface.
Note: The central foot of the structure is already
assembled.
Tools needed:
n10 mm wrench
Fitting the feet
1Place a cardboard on the working
surface and turn the structure over on
its side, in order to easily access the
fixing points of the feet
2Insert the threaded bar of the foot into
the provided hole
3Screw in the threaded bar of the foot,
making it come out on the other side
4Screw the knob into the top of the
threaded bar, holding the other side
locked with a 10 mm wrench

7.4
Handles assembly for
handling
The structure is equipped with wheels and can
therefore be moved by pushing it using the spe-
cial handles.
Tools needed:
n3 mm Allen key
Assembling the handles
1Insert the long screws with washers
in the appropriate holes of the handle
tube, reaching the threaded holes of
the structure
Note: Carry out the operation for both
handles
2Tighten the screws using a 3 mm

Digital ADAS CPU
assembly
The Digital ADAS CPU enables the communica-
tion between Digital ADAS 2.0 and scantool. It is
contained in a small box inside the accessories
box, which also contains:

1Attach the support bracket to the
Digital ADAS CPU, using 2 of the 4
screws supplied
2Fix the Digital ADAS CPU to the
vertical post of the structure through
the protruding side of the support
bracket, using the 2 remaining screws
3Connect the power supply of the Digi-
tal ADAS CPU to the power strip
Note: The cable is already wired in the
structure
4Connect the HDMI cable to the Digital
ADAS CPU
