Frequently Asked Questions
Why isn’t my remote control working or lighting up?
Make sure your remote isn’t out of batteries. For additional help with your remote, go
to page 13.
My remote control is working, but my adjustable base isn’t moving. Why?
Leave your adjustable bed base unplugged for at least an hour to reset it. You can also try
plugging your base into a different outlet to determine if it’s an outlet issue.
If your base still won’t move, check under your base to verify the connections are secure
and in the right place. You’ll find a wiring layout on page 17. If you’re still having trouble
after following these troubleshooting steps, please contact us.
Something on my adjustable bed base broke. What should I do?
It may be covered by your warranty. After setting up your bed, register your warranty by
going to www.maloufhome.com/register. By registering your warranty immediately, you’re
set up to get assistance in case you need it later.

20-Year Limited Warranty
What is Covered
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under the
conditions and exceptions stated below and is extended to the original
purchaser.
What is Not Covered
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and does not cover:
(a) wear and tear; (b) improper or inadequate maintenance, misuse, or
alteration; (c) exposure to chemicals, liquids, or fading caused by exposure
to sunlight; (d) repair by unauthorized representatives; (e) damage
resulting from transit or handling; (f) transportation costs; (g) commer-
cial, institutional, business, rental, or any other non-residential usage; (h)
“as is” purchases including but not limited to floor samples, clearance
items, going out of business or tent sale, close-out, or from a liquidator;
(i) product purchased from a non-authorized MALOUF™ dealer; (j) minor
differences or finish variations as a result of the craftmanship and natural
materials used in the manufacturing process; (k) damage from the slight
expansion or contraction of wood; (l) damage to any type of flooring or
floor covering; (m) slight softening and loss of resiliency in foam, polyester
fiber, and other filling materials as a normal result of use and aging is not
considered a manufacturing defect.
How Long Coverage Lasts
This warranty extends up to 20 years from date of purchase, according to
the tiers set below.
Warranty Limitations
Purchaser must follow troubleshooting procedures as set forth by the
manufacturer or its agents before warranty coverage may be granted.
What Malouf™ Will Do
1 Year – Defects in workmanship or materials are covered for a period of
one year from the date of purchase. Malouf™ will send replacement parts
for any defective part to the original purchaser and pay for authorized
labor and transportation costs associated with the repair or replacement.
All parts and materials associated with the frame, decking, legs, hardware,
motor, and electrical components are covered by the warranty. Base must
be located within the continental United States to be eligible.
2-5 Years – One year after purchase, Malouf™ will offer replacement parts
for any defective part to the purchaser. All parts and materials associated
with the frame, decking, legs, hardware, motor, and electrical compo-
nents are covered by the warranty. The purchaser is responsible for any
service, transportation, labor, or shipping costs associated with the repair
or replacement. This coverage is available from years 2-5 after the date
of purchase.
6-20 Years – Five years after purchase, Malouf™ will offer replacement
parts for parts associated with the frame , decking, legs, and hardware,
as well as limited mechanical parts to the original purchaser. Warranty
excludes electronics, remotes, electrical components, drive motors, and
massage motors. Purchaser shall pay 1/15th of the replacement cost of
the defective part multiplied by the number of years since 5 years after
the warranty commencement date, and Malouf shall bear the remainder
of the cost of the replacement part. The purchaser shall bear all service,
transportation, labor, and shipping costs associated with the repair or
replacement of the defective part(s). This coverage is available from years
6-20 after the date of purchase.
How to Get Service
Email warranty@maloufhome.com to submit your warranty claim. Please
include your receipt, confirm your contact information, and your reason for
filing a claim (along with any photos) so we can process your request.
How State Law Applies
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other
rights which vary from state to state.
The foregoing warranty shall be exclusive and in lieu of any other warranty,
express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a
particular purpose and all other warranties otherwise arising by operation
of law, course of dealing, custom, trade, or otherwise. Malouf™ shall not be
liable for any consequential damages or losses arising from the purchase,
installation and/or use of this product.
