Warning:
•Disconnectpowersupplybeforeinstallation toprevent
electricalshock and equipmentdamage.

diagram,and inaccordancewithnationaland local
electricalcodes.Usecopperconductorsonly.

Mounting The PR-274/275 mustbe mounted asindicated bythe arrows
on the enclosure.RefertoFigure-7formounting dimensions.
1.Removethe transducercoverusing aPhillipshead
screwdriver.
2.Selectthe mounting location.
3.Mounttransduceron averticalsurfacewithtwo#8 self-
tapping screws(notprovided).
4.Pull wiresthrough bottomofenclosureand makenecessary
connections.
5.Replacecoverand makepneumaticconnections.
Wiring Usemaximum12 AWGwireforwiring terminals.Useflexible
1/4”O.D., 5/32”I.D.tubing forthe high and lowpressure
connections.RefertoFigures1,2,3,&4forwiring information
and Figures5&6forjumperdesignations.

The following describesthe properwiring ofthesepressure
transducerswithmAoutput:
1.Removethe blue terminalblock bycarefullypulling itoff
the circuitboard.
2.Locatethe [+]and [-]terminalmarkingson the board.
3.Attachthe supplyvoltage tothe [+]lead.
4.Connectthe 4-20 mAoutput([-]terminal)tothe controller’s
inputterminal.
5.Ensurethatthe powersupplycommon isattached tothe
common busofthe controller.
6.Re-insertthe terminalblock tothe circuitboardand apply
powertothe unit.
7.Check forthe appropriateoutputsignalusing aDVMset
on DC milliampsconnected inserieswiththe [-]terminal.

PR-274/275 pressuretransducerswithVdcoutputarefieldselectable
0-5VDC or0-10 VDC outputand can be powered witheither12-40
VDC or12-35 VAC.The following describesthe properwiring ofthese
pressuretransducerswithVDC output:
1.Removethe blue terminalblock bycarefullypulling itoff the circuit
board.
2.Locatethe (+),(-),and (0)terminalmarkingson the board.
3.Attachthe powerwirestothe (+)and (-) terminals.The (-) terminal
isalsothe negativeoutputterminal.
4.Connectthe (0)terminal,whichisthe positiveVDC outputterminal,
tothe controller’sinput.
5.Re-insertthe terminalblock tothe circuitboardand applypowerto
the unit.
6.Check the appropriateVDC outputusing avoltmeterseton DC volts
across the (0)and (-) terminals.

Caution:Thisproductcontainsahalf-waverectifierpowersupply
and mustnotbe powered off transformersused topowerother
devicesutilizing non-isolated full-waverectifierpowersupplies.
Caution:When multiplePR-274/275 unitsarepowered fromthe
sametransformer,damage will resultunless all 24Gpowerleads
areconnected tothe samepowerleadon all devices.It ismandatory
thatcorrectphasing be maintained when powering morethan one
devicefromasingletransformer.
