SET UP
To open the tripod (fig. 1): Tilt the tripod so it rests only on that foot on the side with the handle “C”, (as shown on the drawing).
With one hand, push the locking collars ”D” of the remaining two legs and, at the same time, raise the tripod with the other hand by pulling the handle “C” up in one continuous
motion until the entire first section is fully extended (shown in fig. 2). Hold the upper sections, figure 3, keeping them parallel and not allowing the legs to spread out.
Raise the third section until fully extended and spread the tripod’s legs (fig. 4). As soon as the legs are spread apart, even a small amount, the tripod will be locked in position.

OPERATION
TRIPOD HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
The tripod features buttons “E” and levers “F” (fig. 5) for height adjustment and tripod leveling. To adjust the height, push down on button “E” (fig. 5). With one hand, keep the
button pressed and tilt the upper part of the tripod until the desired height is reached. By pushing the lever “F” (fig. 6) towards the tripod leg, the lower leg section can be
adjusted. This use is suggested only for very low working heights.

MID LEVEL SPREADER ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the spreader “G” (fig. 7), push in the buttons “H” (fig. 7). The spreader has 5 different working positions: the pressure on the button “H” (fig. 7), releases the
mechanism, allowing spreader adjustment “J” in five steps. To fold the spreader (fig. 8), lift the center part of the spreader while closing the legs.
It's possible to reduce or increase the spreader angle of the legs by rotating clockwise or anticlockwise the cap “Y” (fig. 9) until you reach the angle required.

FEET
The tripod is supplied with twin metal spikes “K” for outdoor use. To use the metal spike, remove the foot “L” by pulling down the rubber retainer “M”.
MOUNTING A CAMERA HEAD
The tripod is designed for 100mm or 75mm ball heads. To mount 75mm ball heads, attach the adapter “N“ (provided) to the tripod with the three screws “M” .
NOTE
For increased support, pull lever "V" (fig. 12) towards the center of the tripod.

CLOSING AND TRANSPORTATION
Remove the camera equipment. Close the tripod by lifting the center part of the spreader with the help of a foot or a hand while closing the legs (fig. 13).
Bring the legs back to a parallel position (fig. 14). Keeping the legs tightly closed (fig. 14), lower the tripod making sure to insert the teeth "P" into the seats "Q" (fig. 15) to lock
the legs.
To keep the legs from sliding, push down on the tripod until the click stop (fig. 16).
The tripod should be closed and ready for carrying "C" (fig.17)
NOTE: A ring “R” (fig. 11) is provided to attach an optional carrying strap (available separately).

MAINTENANCE
If slipping occurs, clean the leg-tubes with a tissue. In case the cleaning is not sufficient, the tripod is user-serviceable and can be adjusted:
UPPER COLLAR
1. Remove the protection caps “S”.
2. Turn the two adjustment screws clockwise “T” not more than 15-30° of a turn and try the leg’s tightness by pushing down on the tripod.
3. Do not overadjust, otherwise the legs will not completely slide out even while pushing the button "E".
4. Check alignment by looking through the inspection hole “V” and pushing in the unlocking button "E". Proper adjustment occurs when levers "Z" align as in fig 18.
Please note: tightening the screw lowers the corresponding lever, loosening raises the corresponding lever.
5. Replace protection caps “S” and "V".
LOWER COLLAR
1. Turn the tripod over to reach the lower collar “X” adjustment screw (see fig. 19).
2. Turn the adjustment screw clockwise ”W” (fig. 19) not more than 15-30° of a turn and try the leg’s tightness by pushing down on the tripod.
3. Do not overadjust, otherwise the legs will not completely slide out even while pushing the button "F" (fig. 19).
• Adjust screws in very small increments. Only slight adjustments are necessary.
• Check the tightness of the leg after each small adjustment and stop when locking is achieved.
• Do not loosen the screws more than one turn, the nuts could become unscrewed.

PREPARAZIONE
Per aprire il treppiede (fig. 1): Inclinare il treppiede affinché appoggi solamente il piede in corrispondenza della maniglia “C” (come mostrato nel disegno).
Con una mano, tenere premuti i manicotti di bloccaggio ”D” delle due gambe rimanenti e, contemporaneamente, allungare il treppiede con l’altra mano tirando verso l’alto la
maniglia “C” con movimento continuo fino ad estendere completamente la prima sezione (vedi fig. 2). Reggere le sezioni superiori (fig. 3) mantenendole parallele ed
impedendo che le gambe si aprano.
Sollevare completamente la terza sezione e allargare le gambe del treppiede (fig. 4). All’apertura anche minima delle gambe, le sezioni risulteranno bloccate in posizione.

FUNZIONAMENTO
REGOLAZIONE DELL’ALTEZZA DEL TREPPIEDE
Il treppiede dispone di pulsanti “E” e leve “F” (fig. 5) per regolare l’altezza e il livellamento. Per regolare l’altezza, premere il pulsante “E” (fig. 5). Con una mano, tenere premuto
il pulsante e inclinare la parte superiore del treppiede fino a raggiungere l’altezza desiderata. La sezione inferiore delle gambe può essere regolata premendo la leva “F” (fig. 6)
nella direzione della gamba del treppiede. Questo utilizzo è suggerito solamente nei casi di ridottissime altezze di lavoro.

REGOLAZIONE DELLO STABILIZZATORE INTERMEDIO
Per regolare lo stabilizzatore “G” (fig. 7), premere i pulsanti “H” (fig. 7). Lo stabilizzatore dispone di 5 differenti posizioni di lavoro: la pressione sul pulsante “H” (fig. 7), sblocca il
meccanismo, consentendo la regolazione dello stabilizzatore “J” in cinque passi di apertura. Per richiudere lo stabilizzatore (fig. 8), sollevarne la parte centrale mentre si
chiudono le gambe.
È anche possibile ridurre o aumentare l’angolo di apertura delle gambe ruotando in senso orario o antiorario il coperchio “Y” (fig. 9) fino a raggiungere l’angolo richiesto.
