1. INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the Marmitek DoorGuard300™. Using this video-door phone you can
hear and see the visitor at the door (without the visitor being aware of it) before you decide to open it. The
camera is concealed in the small doorbell and delivers high quality pictures, even in the dark. This camera is
small enough to mount onto the door frame, without the need to drill holes in the (hollow) wall.

Step 1. Mounting the doorbell camera onto the door frame (figure 6).
• Drill a hole (15mm) in the door frame at the height that you want
to mount the doorbell camera.
• Mount the rain cover onto the door frame using the supplied
screws.
- In case you are using the optional corner bracket (25) then you
need to mount that first onto the door frame and then mount
the rain cover using the supplied screws.
• Pass the power cable through the hole in the rain cover and
through the door frame, and then mount the camera onto the
rain cover by placing the top end of the camera into the lugs of the
rain cover (see figure 6).
• Now fix the bottom of the camera into the rain cover by turning the screw with the supplied tool.
Step 2. Connecting the cable for the camera.
• The additionally supplied cable for the connection of the camera, has a black male connector at the
camera end and a black female connector at the monitor end. Click the black connector of the doorbell
camera onto the black male connector of the additionally supplied cable. Guide the cable to the spot
where the monitor is to be mounted (Beware: there should be a power socket in the area).
• Mount the wall plate onto the wall using the four supplied screws.
Step 3. Mounting the monitor onto the wall (figure 7).
• Take the monitor and attach the connector(s) of the cable(s) in the
right connectors (see figure 5).
• Connect the power adapter with the backside of the monitor (Figure 5).
• Now place the monitor against the wall plate and move it up and
down against the plate such that it snap-locks onto the plate.
• Fasten it onto the side, using the additionally supplied screw (M3). (Figure 5-7).
• Your DoorGuard300™ has now been installed successfully and is ready to use.
• You can always slide off the monitor by sliding it upwards,
after you have removed the fastening screw.
4. FUNCTION
As soon as a visitor rings the doorbell by pressing on the doorbell button,
the image will appear instantly on the monitor in the house. This way you
can see who is at the door before you decide to open it (or pretend you’re
not at home). To speak to the visitor, you simply press the monitor button
(13). If you have also installed an electric door opener, you can open the
door by pressing on the door-open button (15). In case you have installed
multiple monitors in the house (maximum 3 extra), then you can talk
among each other using the intercom button (14).

5. EXTRA POSSIBILITIES WITH YOUR DOORGUARD300
a. Connecting an electric door opener
- To open the door from the monitor (figure 8).
- You need an electric door opener with its own power supply. The door-open-contact of the monitor
is a potential-free normally-open (NO) contact.
- The maximum load for this contact is: DC24V/1A or AC24V/1A.
- You need to connect the door opener onto the L+ en L- connectors of the monitor, using the
supplied cable.
b. Connecting multiple monitors
- To be able to see who is at the door from several places (max. 4). Upon that, you now have an
intercom system (figure 9). Available separately:
DoorGuard300 Black/white Hands Free monitor: art.no: 09786 (E version) 09787 (UK version).
DoorGuard100 Black/white monitor: art.no: 09692 (E version) 09693 (UK version).
- Beware: Only the last monitor that you connect
should be switched on 75 Ohm.
- The remaining monitors are to be connected
parallel. The DoorGuard300 monitor is provided
with an extra connector for the connection of an
extra monitor.
- If you want to bridge a greater distance, then
check out the following table for the required
cable type.

7. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
There is no image
Check if the power cable is properly connected to the power socket.
Check the position of the button for minimum and maximum contrast, and turn the wheel on the side to
select the best image.
Check if the connectors are properly fixed
There is no sound
Check if the connectors are properly fixed
The image is hazy (clouds)
Check if there are interferences in the surrounding area. For example a high voltage cable, electric
appliances etc.
Check if the 75 Ohm switch is in the right position; ‘Off’ in case only one monitor is used, and only in case
multiple monitors are used, the switch of the last monitor should be on ‘On’.

1. EINFÜHRUNG
Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Erwerb der Marmitek DoorGuard300. Mit diesem Video-Türtelefon können
Sie jederzeit (auch unbemerkt) zunächst einmal schauen und hören, wer an Ihrer Tür steht, bevor Sie sich
entschließen die Tür zu öffnen. Die Kamera ist in der schmalen Türklingel angebracht und gibt eine gute
Bildqualität, sogar im Dunkeln. Die Türkamera kann durch ihre Schmalheit problemlos am Türrahmen
montiert werden. Sie brauchen also keine Löcher in (zweischalige) Wände an zu bringen.

Schritt 1 Türrahmenmontage der Türklingelkamera. (Abbildung 6)
• Bohren Sie in der gewünschten Anbringungshöhe der
Türklingelkamera ein 15 mm Loch durch den Türrahmen
• Montieren Sie den Regenschutz mit den mitgelieferten
Schauben an den Türrahmen
- Wenn Sie die optionalen Eckhalter (25) angeschafft haben,
so montieren Sie diese zuerst an den Rahmen und schrauben
darauf den Regenschutz mit den zum Eckhalter
gelieferten Schrauben.
• Schieben Sie nun das Kabel durch das Bohrloch im
Regenschutz und durch den Türrahmen und montieren Sie die Kamera, indem Sie die
Oberseite der Kamera in die Nocken des Regenschutzes schieben (siehe Abbildung 6).
• Sichern Sie die Kamera im Regenschutz und schrauben Sie diese mit dem mitgelieferten
Werkzeug an der Unterseite fest.
Schritt 2 Das Kabel für die Kamera anschließen
• Das mitgelieferte Kabel zum Anschließen der Kamera hat an Kameraseite ein schwarzes “male”
Anschlussstück und an Monitorseite ein schwarzes “female” Anschlussstück. Klicken Sie das schwarze
Anschlussstück der Türklingelkamera auf das schwarze “male” Anschlussstück des mitgelieferten Kabels.
Führen Sie das Kabel bis zur Stelle an der der Monitor aufgehängt werden soll.
(Achtung: in der Nähe muss sich eine Steckdose befinden).
• Montieren Sie die Wandplatte mit den vier Schrauben an die Wand.
Schritt 3 Den Monitor an die Wand montieren (Abbildung 7).
• Nehmen Sie den Monitor auf und klicken Sie die Verbindungsstücke in die
entsprechenden Anschlüsse (siehe Abbildung 5).
• Stecken Sie den Speisungsadaptoranschluss in die Monitorrückseite
(Abbildung 5)
• Halten Sie nun den Monitor gegen die Wandplatte und schieben ihn so
(von oben nach unten), dass der Monitor die Wandplatte herunter gleitet
und mit einem Klick einrastet.
Machen Sie diesen mit der mitgelieferten Schraube (M3) an der Seite fest
(Abbildung 5-7)
• Stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose.
• Sie können den Monitor, nachdem Sie die Sicherungsschraube entfernt haben, jederzeit lösen, indem
Sie diesen nach oben schieben. Ihr DoorGuard300 ist nun installiert und gebrauchsfertig.

4. VERWENDUNG DER DOORGUARD300
So wie ein Besucher an der Türklingelkamera klingelt, empfangen Sie auf dem Monitor im Haus Bild. Sie
sehen also direkt wer geklingelt hat und können die Tür öffnen (‘oder sich dafür entscheiden, kurz außer
Haus zu sein’). Um mit dem Besucher zu reden, drücken Sie einfach auf die Monitortaste (13). Wenn Sie
einen elektrischen Türöffner montiert haben, so können Sie die Tür mit der Türöffnertaste (15) öffnen. Haben
Sie mehrere Monitore im Haus angeschlossen (maximal 3 Zusatzmonitore), dann können Sie untereinander
kommunizieren. Drücken Sie dazu auf die Wechselsprechtaste (14).
5. OPTIONALE MÖGLICHKEITEN MIT IHRER DOORGUARD300
a. Elektrischen Türöffner anschließen
- Zum Öffner der Tür vom Monitor aus. (Abbildung 8)
- Sie benötigen ein elektrisches Türschloss mit eigener Speisung. Der Türöffnungskontakt des
Monitors ist ein potenzialfreier Schließkontakt.
- Die Höchstbelastung dieses Kontaktes beträgt: DC24V/1A oder AC24V/1A.
- Schließen Sie den Türöffner an den L+ und L- Kontakt des Monitors mithilfe des mitgelieferten Kabels an.
b. Mehrere Monitore anschließen
- In diesem Falle können Sie von mehreren (max. 4) Aufstellungsorten im Haus sehen wer klingelt.
Verfügt zudem über ein Wechselsprechsystem. (Abbildung 9). Einzeln erhältlich:
DoorGuard300 Schwarz/Weiß Hands Free Monitor: Art.-Nr.: 09786 (E-Ausführung) 09787 (UK Ausführung).
DoorGuard100 Schwarz/Weiß Monitor: Art.-Nr.: 09692
(E-Ausführung) 09693 (UK Ausführung).
- Achtung: Nur der zuletzt angeschlossene
Monitor muss auf 75 Ohm geschaltet
werden.
- Schließen Sie die übrigen Monitore parallel
an.Der DoorGuard300 Monitor ist zum
Anschließen zusätzlicher Monitore mit
einem zusätzlichen Anschlussstück
ausgestattet.

7. HÄUFIG GESTELLTE FRAGEN
Ich empfange kein Bild
Überprüfen Sie, ob das Speisungskabel gut an die Steckdose angeschlossen ist.
Überprüfen Sie, ob der Kontrast auf Maximal oder Minimal eingestellt ist und drehen Sie zur Bildeinstellung
an dem sich seitlich befindenden Rädchen.
Überprüfen Sie, ob die Verbindungsstücke richtig angeschlossen sind.
Ich empfange keinen Ton
Überprüfen Sie, ob die Verbindungsstücke korrekt angeschlossen sind.
Das Bild ist verschwommen (Schnee)
Überprüfen Sie, ob Interferenz in Ihrer Nähe auftritt. Zum Beispiel durch ein Hochspannungskabel,
elektrische Geräte usw. Überprüfen Sie, ob der 75 Ohm Schalter richtig eingestellt ist (Ausgeschaltet bei
Verwendung eines einzelnen Monitors. Nur bei Verwendung mehrer Monitore muss der Schalter des
letzten Monitors eingeschaltet werden).

1. INTRODUCTION
Merci d’avoir acheté le DoorGuard300™ de Marmitek. Avec ce téléphone de porte à vidéo vous pouvez
voir et entendre (sans que le visiteur ne s’en aperçoive) qui est à votre porte avant de décider d’ouvrir.
La caméra est intégrée dans la sonnette étroite et donne une image de bonne qualité, même dans
l’obscurité. La petite caméra de la sonnette est assez étroite pour être monté sur un cadre de porte.
Vous ne devrez donc pas percer de trous dans les murs (doubles).

1ère étape Installer la caméra de la sonnette sur l’encadrement (image 6)
• Percez un trou (15 mm) dans l’encadrement, à la hauteur à
laquelle vous voulez installer la caméra de la sonnette.
• Placez l’abri contre la pluie sur l’encadrement avec
les vis livrées.
- Si vous avez acheté le soutien optionnel pour faire l’angle (25),
placez d’abord celui-ci sur l’encadrement, puis vissez dessus
l’abri contre la pluie avec les vis livrées avec le soutien pour
faire l’angle.
• Maintenant faites passer le câble de la caméra par le trou dans l’abri contre la pluie et par
l’encadrement, installez maintenant la caméra dans l’abri en plaçant le haut de la caméra dans les
sorties de l’abri contre la pluie (voir image 6).
• Mettez la caméra dans l’abri en serrant la vis du dessous avec les outils livrés.
2ème étape Brancher le câble pour la caméra
• Le câble livré pour raccorder la caméra a du côté de la caméra un connecteur noir ‘mâle’ et du côté du
moniteur un connecteur noir ‘femelle’. Cliquez le connecteur noir de la caméra de la sonnette de la
porte d’entrée sur le connecteur ‘mâle’ noir du câble livré. Menez le câble vers l’emplacement où sera
accroché le moniteur (Attention: il faut une prise dans les environs).
• Placez le support sur le mur avec les 4 vis
3ème étape Installer le moniteur au mur (image 7)
• Prenez le moniteur et cliquez le(s) connecteur(s) du câble (ou des câbles)
dans les raccordements corrects (voir image 5).
• Branchez l’adaptateur secteur dans l’arrière du moniteur (Image 5)
• Placez maintenant le moniteur contre le support mural et bougez-le (de
haut en bas) de telle façon que le moniteur se glisse par-dessus le support
mural et se fixe avec un clic.
Verrouillez celui-ci sur le côté avec la vis livrée en même temps (M3).
(Image 5-7).
• Branchez la prise.
• Vous pouvez toujours détacher le moniteur après avoir enlevé la vis de
verrouillage en le poussant vers le haut. Votre DoorGuard300™ est
maintenant installé avec succès et prêt à être utilisé.

4. UTILISATION
Dès qu’un visiteur sonne à la caméra de la sonnette, l’image apparaît directement sur le moniteur dans la
maison. Vous voyez donc immédiatement qui a sonné et vous pouvez ouvrir la porte (ou ‘décider de ne pas
être là’). Pour parler avec le visiteur, vous appuyez simplement sur le bouton du moniteur (13). Si vous avez
installé une commande électrique pour ouvrir, vous pouvez ouvrir la porte en utilisant le bouton pour ouvrir la
porte (15). Si vous avez branché plusieurs moniteurs dans la maison (au maximum 3 de plus) vous pouvez
parler entre vous. Appuyez pour cela sur le bouton d’intercom (14).
5. POSSIBILITÉS ADDITIONNELLES AVEC VOTRE DOORGUARD300
a. Brancher une commande électrique pour ouvrir la porte
- Pour ouvrir la porte à partir du moniteur (image 8).
- Vous avez besoin d’une commande électrique avec sa propre alimentation. Le contact du moniteur
pour ouvrir la porte est un contact libre de potentiel.
- La charge maximum de ce contact est DC24V/1A ou AC24V/1A.
- Vous branchez la commande électrique au contact L+ et L- du moniteur avec le câble livré.
b. Brancher plusieurs moniteurs
- Afin de voir à partir de plusieurs endroits dans la maison (4 au maximum) qui sonne à la porte.
De plus vous avez maintenant un système intercom (image 9). En vente séparément :
DoorGuard300 Moniteur mains-libres noir/blanc :art.no : 09786 (version E) 09787 (version Royaume Uni).
DoorGuard100 Moniteur noir/blanc : art.no : 09692 (version E) 09693 (version Royaume Uni).
- Attention : seulement le dernier moniteur
que vous branchez doit être commuté sur
75 Ohm.
- Raccordez parallèlement les autres
moniteurs.
Pour raccorder les moniteurs additionnels le
moniteur Doorguard300 est pourvu d’un
connecteur additionnel.
- Si vous voulez que la distance soit plus
grande, voyez le tableau suivant pour le
type de câble nécessaire.

7. FOIRE AUX QUESTIONS
Il n’y a pas d’image
Contrôlez si le câble d’alimentation est bien placé dans la prise.
Contrôlez si le contraste est en position maximale ou minimale et tournez le bouton sur le côté pour une
meilleure image.
Contrôlez si les connecteurs sont bien branchés.
Il n’y a pas de son
Contrôlez si les connecteurs sont bien branchés.
L’image est floue
Contrôlez s’il y a interférence dans les environs. Par exemple un câble à haute tension, un appareil
électrique, etc.
Contrôlez si le commutateur 75 Ohm est en bonne position (pour l’utilisation d’un seul moniteur,
seulement pour l’utilisation de plusieurs moniteurs il faut allumer le commutateur du dernier moniteur).
