Battery Replacement
Product requires 3 replaceable AA (LR6) alkaline batteries. Replace batteries when escalator
movement becomes slow.
To replace batteries, use a Phillips head screwdriver (not included) to open battery door. Remove
and set aside. Insert 3 AA (LR6) alkaline batteries as shown. Use either AA (LR6) alkaline batteries
or equivalent. Replace battery cover and screw closed. ATTENTION: Non-alkaline batteries may
not power this toy. Replace with alkaline batteries for longest life and best performance. INSTRUCTIONS

Battery Safety Information
In exceptional circumstances batteries may leak fluids that
can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To
avoid battery leakage:
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the
product before being charged (if designed to be
removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision (if designed to be removable).
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc),
or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as
recommended are to be used.
• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product.
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• Dispose of battery(ies) safely.
• Do not dispose of this product in a fire. The batteries
inside may explode or leak.
Adult assembly required.

Assemble launcher side of
tracks first.

Add supports and escalator,
with battery “garage”.

Add last track (10) to complete.
Add the cover (11) over track 5.

RACING
1. Press in car launcher, 1 click or 2 clicks. 2 clicks provides more power to the car. NOTE: Either click works with
cars included, but may not work with all cars. Push launcher button if need to reset, such as going 1 click too far).
2. Put dolls into cars, secured with the seat belts. Then put cars into launcher, all the way back. (Make sure the
shopping bags are removed.)
3. Make sure the Polly™ gate is on end track, with the Polly™ logo facing out, and the flags pushed in.
NOTE: In case a flag comes out, just pop it back in.
4. Switch the gate on track #8 as shown for the car to go through the gate to the end of the track.
5. Turn on garage to have escalator moving.
6. Press launcher buttons. NOTE: Both cars will not launch at same
time as a safety feature. First button pressed down needs to be up
before 2nd button can be pressed and 2nd car launches.

STOP N SHOP
1. Have flag on top level track down.
2. Push back shopping bag holder on counter.
3. Load 1 shopping bag onto counter sideways.
4. Car comes down track, stops at flag, bag is automatically
loaded onto the car. NOTE: Shopping bag feature only works with
cars included in this set.
5. Push gate up, and car continues down track.
6. Switch the gate on track #8 to determine if the car keeps going around, or goes
through the gate to the end of the track.
