1. Find a suitable mounting location close to an electrical
outlet (typically the outlet used to power your garage
door opener). The mounting location should be
inaccessible to children or pets. Detach the white
mounting bracket from the main unit. Attach the
mounting bracket to the ceiling or wall as shown with the
3 screws or double-stick tape. Be sure the bracket is
oriented correctly; if you are mounting it on the ceiling,
the arrow shown below on the mounting bracket should
point towards the garage door; if you are mounting it on
the wall, it should point towards the ground.
CAUTION: Do NOT use double-stick tape to mount the unit on
a ceiling. Mount securely with screws.
2. The battery is only a backup if power is interrupted and it
will not last for more than a few days. To install the
backup battery, remove the battery compartment door
and install 1 9V battery, matching the correct +/- polarity
as shown in the compartment.
3. Slide the main unit into the black mounting bracket as
shown.
4. Plug in the AC adapter.
5. Park your car in the desired position. Adjust the laser
beam so that it shines on a prominent feature on your
car. Good choices include a spot on the dashboard or
the space between the hood and the windshield.
Remember, you must be able to see the spot from the
driver’s seat while parking the car. Do not allow the laser
beam to reflect off a shiny surface and into your eyes.
6. When your car first enters the garage, the motion
detector will turn on the laser. Drive forward until the
laser beam for your vehicle hits your pre-determined
spot indicating that you are parked in the correct
position. The laser will turn off automatically after you
are parked.
Troubleshooting
The Garage Laser Park laser may sometimes appear to stay on
permanently and never turn off. The Garage Laser Park turns
on each time it senses motion. It can be triggered by any
movement in the garage such as a door opening, an animal
moving, or a car entering the garage. As a result, a
homeowner may think that the laser never turns off. In these
cases what is usually happening is that each time the
homeowner looks in the garage, the laser is triggered when
the door is opened. If you believe that the laser is not turning
off, please check it in a way that the motion sensor will not be
triggered.

Détacher le support noir de fixation de l'unité centrale.
Trouver l'endroit ideal et attacher le support de fixation au
plafond ou au mur (voir ci-dessous) avec les 3 vis ou le collant
double face.
ATTENTION: Ne pas utiliser le collant double face si vous
installez votre unité centrale au plafond. Securiser
la fixation avec les vis fournises.
2. Faire glisser l'unité centrale sur le support noir de fixation
comme indiqué ci-dessous.
3. Monter l'unité près d'une prise électrique (en général
près de celle utilisée pour l'ouverture électrique de votre
porte de garage). Brancher l'adaptateur AC. La pile sert
juste de secours au cas où il y à une coupure de courant
et ne durera que quelques jours. Pour installer les piles
de secours, enlevez la portière du compartiment de piles
et insérez 1 pile 9V, en respectant la polarité +/- telle
qu'indiquée dans le compartiment.
4. Garer vos voitures à l'emplacement desiré. Ajuster le
rayon du laser afin qu'il illuminant une caractéristique
importante de votre voiture. Vous chercherez à ce que le
laser éclaire un endroit du tableau de bord ou entre le
toit et le pare-brise. N'oubliez pas, vous devez pouvoir
voir cet endroit du siège du conducteur lorsque vous
vous garez.
5. Lorsqu e vos voiture entre dans le garage en premier, le
détecteur de mouvement allume le laser. Avancez
jusqu'à ce que le laser éclaire le point de repère
prédéterminé, indiquant que vous êtes stationné dans la
bonne position. Le laser s'éteindra automatiquement
après que vous aurez stationné.
Dépannage
Le laser du Garage Laser Park peuvent parfois sembler rester
toujours allumés et ne jamais s'éteindre. Le Garage Laser Park
s'allume à chaque fois qu'il détecte un mouvement. Le
mouvement peut résulter de n'importe quel déplacement
dans le garage tel que l'ouverture d'une porte, le movement
d'un animal, ou l'approche d'un véhicule dans le garage.
Ainsi, un propriétaire peut avoir l'impression que le laser ne
s'éteint jamais. Dans ces cas, il s'avère souvent qu'à chaque
fois que le propriétaire vérifie dans le garage, il actionne le
laser en ouvrant une porte. Si vous croyez que le laser ne
s'éteint pas, veuillez le vérifier d'une façon qui ne
déclenchera pas le détecteur de mouvement.
