User’s Manual
Open the safe for the first time.
Identify the two pair of keys (Fig. 1) as is attached to the safe. One pair is for the deposit (Fig.
2) at the top of the left hand side. The other pair is for emergency opening of the safe. Be
shore to keep the keys on a safe place, Not inside the safe itself.

Open the safe with emergency key as per chapter 3 below and install the four 1,5V AA
batteries.

1. Lock and unlock the safe with codes
1.1 Use guest code
a) Unlock
•Input correct 4-6 digits code, and press “LOCK” to confirm, display will
show “OPEN”.
•Rotate the knob 90 degree clockwise within 5 seconds to open the lock.
b) Lock
•Rotate the knob 90 degree anticlockwise to close the door.
* The default gust code is “1234”.
* Display will show “ERROR” when wrong code inputs. Three wrong code inputs
consecutively will put the safe into secure mode. Display will show “HOLD15” in effect
the keypad is inactive for15 minutes, eliminating chances of unauthorized operations.
1.2 Use master code
The master code is the management password. When guests forget their codes,
authorized people can use the master code to open safes directly. The initial master
code is 040620, which should be controlled by the managers of the hotel. First time
users should change the default master code as soon as possible to prevent
unauthorized access to your safe.
a) Unlock
•Input correct 6 digits master code, and press “LOCK” to confirm, display
will show “OPEN”.
•Rotate the knob 90 degree clockwise within 5 seconds to open the lock.
b) Lock
•Rotate the knob 90 degree anticlockwise to close the door.

2. Code programming
2.1 How to change the guest code
•Under the door-opening state, input new 4-6 guest codes and “LOCK”, the
display will show “AGAIN”.
•Re-enter the new code and press “LOCK”, the display will show “DONE”
that indicates new guest code changed successfully.
2.2 How to change the master code
•Under the door-opening state, input “0-0-LOCK”, the display will show
“OLD”, input old master code then press “LOCK” to show “NEW”.
•Enter new 6-digit master code (within 10 seconds after “NEW” disappears),
then press “LOCK”, the display will show “AGAIN”.
•Re-enter the new master code and press “LOCK”, the display will show
“DONE” indicates new personal code changed successfully.
3. Open the safe with emergency key
•Remove the screw on the side of the panel, then take off the panel. The
position of the screw is shown in Figure 1.
•Insert the emergency key and rotate clockwise to open the door. Key hole
position shows in Figure 2.

4. Override function
User can also use handheld unit (CEU devices) to open the door by mini-USB
cable. The serial number of the safe is 315191, please confirm the series number of
CEU is consistent with safe, otherwise you can not override safe successfully.
Please check the specific instructions in the CEU Manual for this function.
5. View Battery Status
To check the battery level, press the “LOCK” key on the keypad. The display
will show the battery status:
•“BA-HI” means battery is good and enough to work.
•“BA-LO” indicates battery has to be replaced quickly.
6. Code hiding function
•Press “CLEAR” before input code to activate the Code Hiding Function.
Under this function, display only shows “--” rather than numbers when you
input the codes.
•If you want to deactivate the Code Hiding Function, press “CLEAR” before
input code. Display will show the number that you input.
7. Low Power Mode
The safe system includes the low power mode to extend the battery life. The
static state electric current is about 10uA under the low power mode.
