2007-2009 Jeep JK Rack Extension RetroFit Kit
Note; you must have an M RP Roof
Rack installed to use this product.
1. This Retrofit Kit is only required to mount a Rack
Extension Kit #130934 to a 4dr Roof Rack #130717 that
does not have the required mounting holes as shown.
See Figure 1
2. The front crossbar of the roof rack requires a pair of ½”
holes to be drilled to allow clearance for the rack e tension
mounting hardware. Before removing the rack, measure and
mark 2 holes 49” center to center. As a reference, each
hole should be 5 5/8” outward from the crossmember joint.
See Figure 2
3. Remove the roof rack and drill the holes as described in
step 2.
4. Slide the bands over the ends of the tubes and locate the
threaded sleeve in the previously drilled hole. Be sure the
band hardware faces rearward and secure.
5. Reinstall the roof rack assembly.
6. you are now ready to install your rack e tension kit.
