Read and understand the Operators Manual before using the TEMP1FLUID WARMER.
Intended Use
The TEMP 1is designed to store, warm and maintains the temperature of I.V. and irrigation
fluid bags prior to their use.
It is suggested that each facility should contact the fluid manufacturer to obtain the
manufacturers specifications for time and temperature for the fluids being warmed.
Unit Description
The TEMP 1Fluid Warmer is a wall mounted unit consisting of one cabinet with two
internal shelves. A central temperature controller is used to control the independent heating
of each shelf. The controller will display two temperatures in its display. The top display
number (in red) will indicate the temperature of the top shelf heater plate. The bottom
display number (in green) will indicate the temperature of the bottom shelf heater plate.
During the time that the controller is directing the unit to warm, a light will illuminate in the
upper left corner of the display.
The Documentoris designed to assist in the compliance with JCAHOstandard MM 2.20
and the fluid manufacturer’s specifications for time and temperature.

Set-up Instructions
1. Remove the TEMP 1from the box; check the unit before operating to ensure that all of the
packaging materials or manuals are removed from the cabinet.
2. Locate the Documentorand remove from the shipping box. Attach the Documentorto the
TEMP 1following the instructions below.
Place the TEMP 1on its front. Remove and keep the two screws from the top and left
side. See the picture.
Align the holes in the TEMP 1Time/Clock Mounting Bracket to the empty screw
holes. Secure the mounting bracket using the screws removed in step one.
Remove the 3 screws in the back of the Documentor. Attach the Documentorto the
mounting bracket using these 3 screws.
3. Plug the Documentorinto the Hospital Grade Receptacle located on the side of the TEMP 1.
4. Use the Mounting Diagram to place four mounting bolts either on a wall or a cart. The TEMP
1loaded with 6 bags of solution will weigh approximately 29 pounds. When mounting to a
wall, care should be taken to secure the mount to the wall using bolts suitable for the wall
material to support a minimum of 90 lbs. Leave the heads of the mounting bolts 1/16” out from
the wall, position the TEMP 1® mounting brackets over the heads of the bolts and slide into
place.
5. An optional kit (MSI-K725) is available for mounting the TEMP 1on an I.V. pole.
6. Locate the electrical cord and plug the TEMP 1into an approved outlet.
