SPECIFICATIONS
The electric wheelchair is an environ-
ment-friendly electric vehicle. It was devel-
oped to extend the mobility of persons with
health-related or age-related restrictions.
The model is assigned to user category B
(Optimus 2) resp. C (Optimus 2 S) according
to the norm EN12184. The electric wheel-
chair with mounted leg supports and arm
support units serves solely for transport of a
sitting person and not as a traction mecha-
nism, transporter or similar.
USE
Do not reach onto the turning surface of
the wheels or grip the tyres of the rotating
wheels. – Danger of injury!
The wheelchair is driven through the joy-
stick integrated in the operating module.
Refrain from jerky starts with your electric
wheelchair. – Danger of tipping over or
tilting!
Avoid driving on inclinations or slopes
with insufficient surface condition.
The general capability of the driver to par-
ticipate in traffic must be given.
In certain configurations your electric
wheelchair might exceed the maximum
dimensions of emergency routes.
Always make sure whether possible es-
cape routes are wide enough for your
electric wheelchair.
The electric wheelchair is applicable on lev-
el, firm surfaces and can be used as follows:
– for generous indoor places (e.g. depart-
ment stores),
– outdoors (e.g. paved paths in parks),
– as a companion on tours.
– Never expose the electric wheelchair to
extreme temperatures and damaging
environmental conditions, such as sun-
light, extreme cold or salty water.
– Sand and other dirt particles can seize
on moving parts and render them with-
out function.
You must not let yourself be carried in your
electric wheelchair by having the wheel-
chair lifted from the floor. Parts that are not
securely fixed, e.g. arm supports, can loose
hold and thus cause an accident.
☞The electric wheelchair is a vehicle and
not a carrying device.
Only apply the electric wheelchair within
the scope of the specifications and limita-
tion described in chapter Technical data on
page 44.
