Description
The BT-100 was designed to remove ethylene from
cold rooms and storage areas where fruits and
vegetables are stored, extending the life of the stored
produce. See picture 1.
System will handle 100 cubic meters. It is designed to
operate continuously.
System Placement
The Bio Turbo 100 is designed to be mounted at or
near the highest point inside the room. Since ethylene
is lighter than air it will rise toward the ceiling.
The system can be installed either vertically or in a
horizontal position. There are four holders on the
sides for securing the system, see picture 2.
Before drilling inspect the area where the system will
be mounted for any obstructions that could be
damaged.
Use the supplied plastic anchors and screws to
attach the cabinet to the wall or the ceiling. If
supplied fasteners will not work for your installation,
you will need to purchase necessary hardware
locally.
Ensure the gasket is in place around the opening on
the system, see picture 3.
Operation
After plugging the power cord into the power
receptacle, “Breaker” LED should be glowing green.
This shows that power is to the system and the
circuit breaker is good.
Turn on the power switch. Three more LED's should
come "ON". These indicate there is power to the
power transformer, power to the fan and to the
ozone generator plate (low hum can be detected
indicating everything is operational).
