Preliminary
1- PARTS LIST

-(4) #6-20x3/4”, Screw, Self-Drilling
2- INSTALL TRANSMITTER/AIR
WAVE™SWITCH ASSY
-Open box, unpack battery and remove
lid from t e AW12-RF.
-Install CR2032 battery as s own wit
t e “+” side up. Notice t at t e Red LED
blinks once upon insertion.
-Now position & attac , wit provided
screws, your AW12-RF to your bottom
angle or end stile of your door. Replace
lid.
-Now, dependent upon your “kit”, make
t e necessary airline connections.

3- INSTALL RECEIVER
-Open box, remove lid from t e MRF-01
receiver.
-Position receiver on operator, so t at
its wiring will reac t e operator
terminal strip. Keep in mind t at t e
Green antenna wire must be exposed to
t e AW12-RF Transmitter/Air Wave™
Switc . It cannot be be ind any type of
metal.
-Connect t e Red (+) & Black (-) to your
24VAC/DC source. T e W ite wire
connects to a low voltage COMMON
terminal. T e Yellow wire connects to
your EDGE/SAFETY terminal.
4- PROGRAMMING
-Apply power to t e receiver.
-Green Power LED stays on; C annel 1
Red LED will be blinking.
-To enter “Learn” mode simply press
your fingertip onto CH1 (in t e LEARN
BUTTON section of t e PCB). T e Red
LED remains on and t e Amber Learn
LED will begin to blink.
-Activate t e edge & note t e Red &
Amber LED’s will blink alternately
rapidly. T en t e Red LED will go out &
t e Amber LED remains on.
-C annel 1 is now programmed.
-To start-over/erase programming,
press and old CH1 again for 3 seconds,
LED’s will blink for 5 seconds & t en go
into fault mode.
5- TEST SAFETY EDGE
-Ensure t at your door stops/reverses
w en safety edge is activated during
close cycle.
