BIKE REPAIR STAND RS-X INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Please read this instructions carefully before use.
Thank you for purchasing the Minoura “RS-X”
bike repair stand.
The RS-X is a simple, elegant and stable stand
with a quick folding mechanism for easy storage
and transportation.
The frame is height adjustable in three levels and
the front fork support is fully adjustable to suit
various bike frame sizes and your favorite work-
ing position.

HOW TO SET-UP YOUR RS-X
1Install the leg with supplied two screws and open the
frame. (see Fig. A)
RS-X is used while the front wheel is
removed so it can be used for nor-
mal bicycle only. Do NOT use on
tandems or electric bikes.

Open the arm and hook one of the three bars which are
located between the main frame. You can choose your
favorite stand height by selecting one of the hooks.

3Once you select the hook you want, push down the lock
lever to lock the position. Otherwise the arm may come
loose if you lift up your bike from the stand.

Loosen both side knob bolts to make the front fork mount
loose. (see Fig. D)
Insert the front fork end onto the fork mount, and tighten the
fork securely with the quick release skewer.
Then put the bottom bracket of your bike onto the B/B mount
by holding the bike with your hand.
After setting up your bike, tighten both knob bolts firmly to fix
the position.
If you don’t tighten the knob bolt(s) the bike
may come loose and fall off during your mainte-
nance work.
The parts tray (optional) can be swung for both side as you
need. (see Fig. E & F)
If you put heavy tool or parts on the tray, we strongly recom-
mend you to turn back the tray in the first position (along the
arm). Otherwise the tray may be bent.
