operation of this product. Please read this manual carefully before installing and using the product.
1. Precautions for Use
*
Avoid heavy weight, violent vibration and liquid to prevent damage to the product during
transportation, storage, installation and use.
*
The product housing is made of an organic material, and should thus be kept away from
corrosive liquids, gases or solids.
*
Do not expose the product to rain or moisture; do not use the product beyond the rated
temperature and humidity.
*
Wipe the device lens with a dry soft cloth when cleaning the lens; please gently wipe it with
a neutral cleaner in the case of heavy dirt.
*
Do not use strong or corrosive cleaners, since this may cause lens scratch and impair image
quality.
*
This product comprises no parts repairable by user, so damage resulted from disassembly by
user is not covered by the warranty.
2. Electric Safety
*
The product must be installed and used in strict accordance with national and local standards
for electric safety.
*
Do not use power adapters beyond the specified power specifications; otherwise, the
product’s components may be damaged and cannot function.
*
When in use, the product shall be kept an adequate distance
from strong-current equipment; where necessary, protective
measures shall be taken against lightning and surge.
*
Where the product is unknot used, please turn off the power
switch and disconnect the power adapter from power outlet.
*
The product works with a DC 12V power supply, where the
polarity of power plug is shown in the figure on the right.
3. Installation with Caution
*
Do not rotate the lens barrel by hand, since this may cause damage to rotating shaft of the
structure, or cause malfunction in the signal cable.
*
Be sure to place and install the device level and securely, and do not tilt the product;
otherwise, tilted images may occur.
*
Make sure there is no obstacle within the rotating range of PTZ during installation;
otherwise, the rotating shaft of structure may get damaged.
*
Do not power on the device until the installation is completed.

Product Features
UHD cameras for information and communication are designed with sophisticated features,
excellent performance and abundant connectors; advanced ISP processing technology and algorithm
contribute to intensely alive and lifelike image effect, uniform screen brightness, strong sense of
light color hierarchy, high resolution, and favorable color recoverability. H.265/H.264 encoding is
supported, which offers smoother and clearer screen at low bandwidth.

-14 -
4K UHD: SONY CMOS image sensor is employed to offer a maximum resolution of 4K (3840×2160; 12.4
effective megapixels) and an output frame rate of up to 60 frames per second; presenting clear and realistic
UHD video, vividly displaying the expressions and movements of characters, and offering superb sharpness
and resolution of image.
Optical zoom lens: 12x optical zoom lens is employed.
Auto-focus technology: Advanced auto-focus algorithms enable lenses to achieve auto-focus efficiently,
accurately and steadily.
Low noise and high SNR: Low-noise CMOS effectively ensures the ultra-high SNR of screen. Advanced
2D and 3D noise reduction technologies further reduce noise and assure image sharpness.
A variety of audio and video compression standards: LAN port supports H.265/H.264 video compression;
USB 3.0 port supports MJPG, H264, H265, YUY2, and NV12; A-IN port supports AAC, MP3 and G.711A
audio compression encoding.
Audio input jack: Supporting sampling frequency of 8000, 16000, 32000, 44100, and 48000, as well as AAC,
MP3 and G.711A encoding.
Built-in G-sensor: Built-in G-sensor supports automatic PTZ turnover and facilitates engineering installation.
Various network protocols: Supporting ONVIF, GB/T 28181, RTSP and RTMP protocols; supporting RTMP
push mode for easy connection with streaming media server (Wowza and FMS); supporting RTP multicast
mode and network all-command VISCA control protocol.
Control interface: RS422 (compatible with RS485) output, and RS232 input/output; RS232 supports
cascading and facilitates engineering installation.
A diversity of control protocols: Supporting VISCA, PELCO-D and PELCO-P protocols, as well as
automatic identification protocol.
Ultra-silent PTZ: The infinitely variable speed realized through DC brushless servo motor enables high-
speed smooth PTZ control; external forces return PTZ to its origin at high rate.
Multiple preset positions: Supporting up to 255 preset positions (of which 10 are called for remote control
setup).
A diversity of remote controls: Users are allowed to choose IR remote control or wireless remote control
based on ambient conditions of operation. 2.4G wireless remote control is not affected by angle,
distance and infrared interference. Remote control signal passthrough is supported to facilitate
the use of back-end device.

-15 -
A wide range of applications: Conference, education, healthcare, government affairs, cloud video,
collaborative office, multimedia fusion, emergency command, broadcast, justice, public security and military,
and other system applications.

3、Use of remote control
Operating instructions for remote control: Remote control is classified into IR remote control and
wireless remote control; please read the following based on the type of remote control.
3.1
Pairing for Wireless Remote Control
Wireless remote control: The procedures for operation, pairing and clearing
pairing data are as follows.
One-to-one pairing
Press and hold "Set" and "*" keys for 3 seconds, and the LED will begin to
flash; release the keys, and the LED will keep flashing; start the pairing, and
power on the receiving device; the LED will go off if the pairing is successfully
finished; after one-to-one pairing, this product is controllable only by this
remote control; to use another remote control, it's necessary to clear the pairing
data of the original remote control or to pair the new one. If the pairing fails,
the red LED will go off after flashing for 20 seconds, then the device will stop
pairing and get into Sleep; at this point, you can press any key to wake up the
device for pairing. Note: To enable the control after successful pairing, the camera
address must be selected.
Clearing Pairing Data
Press "Set" + "#" keys, and the LED will start to flash continuously, and then power off and on
the receiving device; when the LED goes off, it means the pairing data has been successfully cleared.
Sleep and Wake-up
The Sleep mode is activated immediately after no operation is performed in working state; you
can press any key to wake the device up.
The keys and operating method of IR remote control are the same as wireless remote control.

-19 -
3.2
Keys of Remote Control
After the normal startup of product, it receives and executes IR command; press the key of
remote control, and the remote receiving indicator will flash in green; when the key is released, the
indicator stops flashing. The setup, selection, horizontal and pitch rotation of preset position are
available with IR remote control.
1) The key operation method stated in this user manual refers to pressing and releasing the keys of
remote control. For example, "pressing [HOME] key" means to press and release [HOME] key; if
you need to keep the keys depressed for some time, the manual will give a particular description.
2) The operation of key combination described in this manual refers to the operation performed in
the sequence per the manual. For example, "pressing [*] + [#] + [F1]" means to press [*], [#] and [F1]
successively.
1. Address Selection
Select the address code of the product to be controlled
2. Standby Key
Press and hold the key for 3s, and the product will get into standby mode; press and hold the key for 3s
again, and the product will perform self-test again and return to the HOME position; if the #0 preset position is
set, there will be no operation within 12s, and the PTZ will turn to #0 preset position.
3. Focus Control Key
4. Zoom Control Key
[Auto-focus]: Enter the auto-focus mode
[Manual Focus]: Get into manual focus mode;
[Focus +]: Zoom-in (available only in manual focus mode)
[Focus -]: Zoom-out (available only in manual focus mode)
Pressing and holding these two keys brings about continuous
zoom-in/-out; the zoom-in/-out stops when such keys are
released midway.
[Zoom +] key: The object gets closer, and the lens
magnification increases.
[Zoom -]: The object zooms out, while the lens magnification
decreases.
Pressing and holding these two keys brings about continuous
zoom-in/-out; the zoom-in/-out stops when such keys are
released midway.
