Induction Receiver
These instructions are intended for users with-
out any specific technical knowledge. Please
read these instructions carefully prior to operat-
ing the unit and keep them for later reference.

2 Important Notes
This unit corresponds to all relevant directives of the
EU and is therefore marked with .
• The receiver is suitable for indoor use only. Protect
it against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0–40°C).
• For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals.
• If the unit is not used for a longer period (e.g. more
than a week), the (rechargeable) batteries should
be removed to prevent damage to the unit in case
the battery should leak.
• No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the unit is used for other pur-
poses than originally intended, if it is not correctly
operated, or if it is not repaired in an expert way.
If the unit is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling plant
for a disposal which is not harmful to the
environment.
Discharged batteries or defective rechargeable bat-
teries do not belong in the household rubbish;
always take them to a special waste disposal (e.g.
collecting container at your retailer).
3 Applications
The receiver LR-202 allows reception of audio sig-
nals in inductive sound reproduction systems used for
various applications, e.g. as an aid for persons hard
of hearing in churches, theatres, cinemas, waiting
rooms, meeting rooms, as interpreting installations,
for lectures in museums, exhibitions, etc.
In inductive sound reproduction systems, an ind-
uction loop is triggered with a constant current am-
plifier. An induction loop consists of a wire winding
laid into the floor, into the wall, or into the ceiling.
Within this loop, a magnetic field is generated which
will induce a voltage in the induction receiver. The re-
ceiver will reconvert this voltage into an audio signal.
Within an induction loop, any number of receivers
can be operated.
4 Power Supply
For operation, a 9V battery or a 9V rechargeable
battery is required.
1) Slightly press the lateral locking clip (a) of the
battery compartment cover (5) while opening the
cover at the same time.
2) Insert the (rechargeable) battery with the positive
and negative signs as printed in the front of the
compartment.
3) Close the battery compartment cover and let it
lock.
5 Operation
1) Set the control LEVEL (3) to the left stop to
minimum.
2) Connect the headphones or the earphone to the
jack PHONES (4). Thus, the unit is switched on; the
power LED ON (2) will light up.
3) Fasten the receiver with its rear-side clip on your
clothes, e.g. on your belt.
4) Adjust the desired reproduction volume with the
control LEVEL (3).
5) To improve the speech intelligibility or to suppress
hum noise, set the switch LO CUT (1) to ON. Thus,
low-frequency noise will be suppressed.
6) To switch off the receiver, disconnect the plug
of the headphones or earphone from the jack
PHONES.

Diese Bedienungsanleitung richtet sich an Be-
nutzer ohne besondere Fachkenntnisse. Bitte
lesen Sie die Anleitung vor dem Betrieb gründ-
lich durch und heben Sie sie für ein späteres
Nachlesen auf.

2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Das Gerät entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien der
EU und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.
• Setzen Sie den Empfänger nur im Innenbereich ein
und schützen Sie ihn vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser,
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Ein-
satztemperaturbereich 0–40°C).
• Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, niemals Chemikalien oder Wasser.
• Nehmen Sie bei längerem Nichtgebrauch (z.B.
länger als eine Woche) die Akkus oder Batterien
heraus. So bleibt das Gerät bei einem eventuellen
Auslaufen der Akkus/Batterien unbeschädigt.
• Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, falsch bedient
oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Haf-
tung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personen-
schäden und keine Garantie für das Gerät über-
nommen werden.
Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, übergeben Sie es zur
umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtli-
chen Recyclingbetrieb.
Defekte Akkus und verbrauchte Batterien dürfen
nicht in den Hausmüll geworfen werden. Geben
Sie sie nur in den Sondermüll (z.B. bei Ihrem Ein-
zelhändel).
3 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Mit dem Empfänger LR-202 lassen sich Audiosignale
in induktiven Höranlagen empfangen. Diese wer-
den für unterschiedliche Anwendungen eingesetzt,
z.B. als Hilfsmittel für Hörbehinderte in Kirchen,
Theatern, Kinos, Warte- und Aufenthaltsräumen,
als Dolmetscheranlagen, bei Vorträgen in Museen,
Ausstellungen, etc.
Bei induktiven Höranlagen wird eine Indukti-
onsschleife mit einem Konstantstromverstärker an-
gesteuert. Eine Induktionsschleife besteht aus einer
Drahtwindung, die im Fußboden, in der Wand oder
in der Decke verlegt wird. Innerhalb dieser Schleife
baut sich ein Magnetfeld auf, das in dem Indukti-
onsempfänger eine Spannung induziert. Diese Span-
nung wandelt der Empfänger wieder in ein Audio-
signal zurück. Innerhalb einer Induktionsschleife
lassen sich beliebig viele Empfänger betreiben.
4 Stromversorgung
Für den Betrieb wird eine 9-V-Blockbatterie oder ein
9-V-Akku benötigt.
1) Die Rastlasche (a) des Batteriefachdeckels (5) seit-
lich leicht eindrücken und den Deckel gleichzeitig
aufklappen.
2) Den Akku oder die Batterie, mit dem Plus- und
Minuszeichen wie vorne im Fach aufgedruckt,
einsetzen.
3) Den Batteriefachdeckel zuklappen und einrasten.
5 Inbetriebnahme
1) Den Regler LEVEL (3) nach links auf Minimum
drehen.
2) Den Kopfhörer oder Ohrhörer an die Buchse PHO-
NES (4) anschließen. Das Gerät wird dadurch ein-
geschaltet und die Betriebsanzeige ON (2) leuchtet.
3) Den Empfänger mit der Klemme auf der Rückseite
an der Kleidung befestigen, z.B. am Gürtel.
4) Mit dem Regler LEVEL (3) die gewünschte Wieder-
gabelautstärke einstellen.
5) Für eine bessere Sprachverständlichkeit oder bei
Brummstörungen den Schalter LO CUT (1) in die
Position ON stellen. Tieffrequente Störgeräusche
werden so unterdrückt.
6) Zum Ausschalten des Empfängers den Klinken-
stecker des Kopfhörers oder Ohrhörers aus der
Buchse PHONES herausziehen.

Récepteur à induction
Cette notice s‘adresse aux utilisateurs sans connais-
sances techniques particulières. Veuillez lire la pré-
sente notice avant le fonctionnement et conser-

Cet appareil répond à toutes les directives nécessaires
de l’Union Européenne et porte donc le symbole .
• Ne faites fonctionner le récepteur qu’en intérieur.
Protégez-le de tout type de projections d’eau,
des éclaboussures, d’une humidité élevée et de la
chaleur (plage de température de fonctionnement
autorisée 0–40°C).
• Pour nettoyer l’appareil, utilisez uniquement un
chiffon sec et doux, en aucun cas de produits
chimiques ou d’eau.
• En cas de non utilisation prolongée (p.ex. supérieure
à une semaine), retirez les accumulateurs ou batte-
ries. L’appareil est ainsi protégé car les accumula-
teurs/batteries pourraient couler et l’endommager.
• Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-
mages corporels ou matériels résultants si l’appareil
est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour lequel
il a été conçu, s’il n’est pas correctement utilisé ou
s’il n’est pas réparé par une personne habilitée ; en
outre, la garantie deviendrait caduque.
Lorsque l’appareil est définitivement retiré
du service, vous devez le déposer dans une
usine de recyclage à proximité pour contri-
buer à son élimination non polluante.
Ne jetez pas les batteries usagées et les accumu-
lateurs défectueux dans la poubelle domestique,
déposez-les dans un container approprié ou rap-
portez-les chez votre détaillant.
3 Possibilités d’utilisation
Avec le récepteur LR-202, on peut recevoir des signaux
audio dans des installations auditives inductives, utili-
sés pour diverses applications, p.ex. comme aide pour
des personnes à audition déficiente, dans des églises,
théâtres, cinémas, salles d’attente, de réunion, comme
installations pour interprètes, pour des conférences
dans musées, expeditions...
Dans des installations auditives inductives, une
boucle d’induction est gérée avec un amplificateur
à courant constant. Une boucle d’induction se com-
pose d’un enroulement de fil placé dans le sol, le
mur ou le plafond. Au sein de cette boucle, se crée
un champ magnétique qui induit une tension dans
le récepteur à induction. Le récepteur convertit de
nouveau cette tension en un signal audio. Au sein
d’une boucle d’induction, on peut faire fonctionner
un nombre quelconque de récepteurs.
4 Alimentation
Pour le fonctionnement, une batterie 9V ou un accu-
mulateur 9V est nécessaire.
1) Enfoncez légèrement sur le côté la languette (a)
du couvercle du compartiment batterie (5) et
simultanément, ouvrez le couvercle.
2) Placez l’accumulateur ou la batterie en respectant
les symboles plus et moins comme indiqué sur
l’avant du compartiment.
3) Remettez le couvercle en place et enclenchez-le.
5 Fonctionnement
1) Tournez le réglage LEVEL (3) vers la gauche sur
le minimum.
2) Reliez le casque ou l’écouteur à la prise PHONES(4).
L’appareil est alors allumé et la LED ON (2) témoin
de fonctionnement brille.
3) Fixez le récepteur avec la pince située sur l’arrière
à un vêtement, par exemple la ceinture.
4) Avec le réglage LEVEL (3), réglez le volume de res-
titution souhaité.
5) Pour une meilleure compréhension des propos,
ou en cas de ronflements, mettez l’interrupteur
LO CUT (1) sur la position ON. Les bruits perturba-
teurs à basse fréquence sont ainsi éliminés.
6) Pour éteindre le récepteur, retirez la fiche du cas-
que ou de l’écouteur de la prise PHONES.

• Far funzionare l’apparecchio solo all’interno di
locali. Proteggerlo dall’acqua gocciolante e dagli
spruzzi d’acqua, da alta umidità dell’aria e dal calore
(temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40°C).
• Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido,
asciutto; non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti
chimici o acqua.
• Se lo strumento non viene utilizzato per un tempo
prolungato (p.es. oltre una settimana) conviene
togliere le batterie per evitare che perdano, dan-
neggiando lo strumento.
• Nel caso d’uso improprio, d’impiego scorretto o di
riparazione non a regola d’arte dell’apparecchio,
non si assume nessuna responsabilità per eventuali
danni consequenziali a persone o a cose e non si
assume nessuna garanzia per lo strumento.
Non gettare le batterie scariche o difet-
tose nelle immondizie di casa bensì negli
appositi contenitori (p.es. presso il vostro
rivenditore).
Se si desidera eliminare l’apparecchio definitiva-
mente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento ad un’isti-
tuzione locale per il riciclaggio.
3 Possibilità d’impiego
Con il ricevitore LR-202 è possibile ricevere segnali
audio di impianti acustici ad induzione. Tali impianti
servono per diverse applicazioni, p.es. come ausilio
per persone con problemi all’udito in chiese, teatri,
cinema, sale d’attesa, per impianti d’interpretariato,
durante conferenze in musei, mostre ecc.
Negli impianti acustici ad induzione, un loop ad
induzione viene comandato da un amplificatore di
corrente costante. Un loop ad induzione è compo-
sto da un filo avvolto sistemato nel pavimento, nella
parete o nel soffitto. All’interno del loop si crea una
campo magnetico che produce una tensione nel rice-
vitore ad induzione. Tale tensione viene ritrasformata
dal ricevitore in un segnale audio. All’interno di un
loop ad induzione si possono gestire innumerevoli
ricevitori.
4 Alimentazione
Per il funzionamento è richiesta una batteria (rica-
ricabile o no) di 9V.
1) Esercitare una leggera pressione laterale sulla
linguetta (a) del coperchio del vano batteria (5)
aprendo contemporaneamente il coperchio.
2) Inserire la batteria con il positivo e negativo come
è stampato nel vano stesso.
3) Richiudere il coperchio del vano batteria fino allo
scatto.
5 Messa in funzione
1) Girare il regolatore LEVEL (3) a sinistra sul minimo.
2) Collegare la cuffia o l’auricolare con la presa
PHONES (4). In questo modo si attiva l’apparec-
chio e la spia di funzionamento ON (2) si accende.
3) Con il clip posto sul retro, fissare il ricevitore ai
vestiti, p.es. alla cintura.
4) Impostare il volume desiderato con il regolatore
LEVEL (3).
5) Per migliorare la comprensione della lingua parlata
o in caso di ronzii, portare l’interruttore LO CUT(1)
in posizione ON. In questo modo si sopprimo le
interferenze a bassa frequenza.
6) Per spegnere il ricevitore staccare il connettore
della cuffia o dell’auricolare dalla presa PHONES.

Odbiornik indukcyjny
Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest dla użyt-
kowników, którzy nie posiadają wiedzy i do-
świadczenia technicznego. Przed rozpoczęciem
użytkowania proszę zapoznać się z instrukcją, a
następnie zachować ją do wglądu.

2 Informacje dotyczące bezpieczeństwa
Urządzenie spełnia wszystkie wymagania norm UE i
dlatego posiada oznaczenie symbolem .
• Urządzenie jest przeznaczone do użytku tylko w
pomieszczeniach. Urządzenie należy chronić przed
działaniem wody, wysokiej wilgotności powietrza
oraz wysokiej temperatury (dopuszczalna tempe-
ratura otoczenia 0–40°C).
• Do czyszczenia urządzenia należy używać suchej,
miękkiej szmatki; nie należy stosować wody ani
środków czyszczących.
• Jeżeli urządzenie nie będzie używane przez dłuż-
szy okres czasu (np.: dłużej niż 1 tydzień), należy
usunąć z niego baterie, aby uniknąć uszkodzeń
powstałych w skutek wycieku elektrolitu.
• Producent ani dostawca nie ponoszą odpowied-
zialności za wynikłe szkody (uszkodzenie sprzętu
lub obrażenia użytkownika) jeśli urządzenie było
używane niezgodnie z przeznaczeniem, lub jeśli
zostało nieodpowiednio zainstalowane, podłą-
czone, użytkowane lub poddawane nieautoryzo-
wanym naprawom.
Jeśli urządzenie ma zostać ostatecznie
wycofane z użycia, należy przekazać je do
punktu utylizacji odpadów aby uniknąć
zanieczyszczenia środowiska.
Zużyte baterie nie powinny być wyrzucane razem
ze zwykłymi odpadkami. Zużyte baterie należy
wyrzucać do pojemników specjalnie do tego prze-
znaczonych.
3 Zastosowanie
Odbiornik LR-202 pozwala na odbiór sygnałów audio
odtwarzanych w systemie indukcyjnym. Może być
pomocny dla osób z wadami słuchu w kościołach,
teatrach, kinach, poczekalniach, a także w systemach
tłumaczeń oraz dla przewodników wycieczek itp.
W systemach indukcyjnej reprodukcji dźwięku,
pętla indukcyjna jest podłączona do wzmacniacza
stałoprądowego. Pętla indukcyjna składa się z prze-
wodu położonego w podłodze, ścianach lub suficie.
Dzięki pętli generowane jest pole elektromagnety-
czne, które indukuje napięcie wewnątrz odbiornika
indukcyjnego. Ilość odbiorników w zasięgu pętli
indukcyjnej jest dowolna.
4 Zasilanie
Urządzenie zasilane jest baterią, lub akumulatorem 9V.
1) Delikatnie wcisnąć boczny zatrzask (a) pokrywy
komory baterii (5) otwierając równocześnie ko-
morę baterii.
2) Umieścić baterie (akumulatory) zwracając uwagę na
prawidłową polaryzację opisaną w komorze baterii.
3) Nałożyć pokrywę na komorę baterii do momentu
jej zatrzaśnięcia.
5 Działanie
1) Ustawić regulator poziomu głośności (3) w pozycji
minimalnej (maks. w lewo).
2) Podłączyć słuchawki do gniazda słuchawkowego
(4). Urządzenie jest włączone; dioda zasilania (2)
się świeci.
3) Zamocować odbiornik do ubrania np.: na pasku
za pomocą klipsa mocującego na tylnej stronie
obudowy.
4) Ustawić odpowiedni poziom głośności za pomocą
regulatora głośności (3).
5) W celu poprawy czytelności mowy lub w celu
redukcji zakłóceń, należy ustawić przełącznik LO
CUT (1) w pozycji ON. Dzięki temu zakłócenia na
niskich częstotliwościach będą wytłumione.
6) Aby wyłączyć odbiornik należy odłączyć wtyk słu-
chawkowy z gniazda 3,5mm (4).

3 Aplicaciones
El receptor LR-202 permite la recepción de seña-
les audio en sistemas de reproducción de sonido
inductivos para varias aplicaciones, por ejemplo
como ayuda para personas con problemas de oído
en iglesias, teatros, cines, salas de espera, salas de
reunión, instalaciones de interpretación, para lectu-
ras en museos, exhibiciones, etc.
En sistemas de reproducción de sonido inducti-
vos, se produce un bucle de inducción con un am-
plificador de corriente constante. Un bucle de induc-
ción consiste en una espira colocada en el suelo, en
la pared o en el techo. Entre este bucle se genera
un campo magnético que induce una tensión en el
receptor de inducción. El receptor va a reconvertir este
voltaje en señal audio. Dentro del bucle de inducción,
puede funcionar cualquier número de receptores.
4 Alimentación
Para el funcionamiento, se requiere una batería 9V o
una batería recargable de 9V.
1) Pulse ligeramente el clip lateral de fijación (a) de la
tapa del compartimiento de batería (5) al mismo
tiempo que abre la tapa.
2) Inserte la batería (recargable) con los polos posi-
tivo y negativo tal como se indica delante en el
compartimiento.
3) Cierre y encaje el compartimiento de batería.
5 Funcionamiento
1) Ajuste el control LEVEL (3) al mínimo hasta el tope
izquierdo.
2) Conecte los cascos o el auricular de oreja al jack
PHONES (4). De esta manera la unidad está encen-
dida; el LED ON (2) va a encenderse.
3) Fije el receptor con el clip en la parte trasera a su
ropa, p.ej. en el cinturón.
4) Ajuste la reproducción de volumen deseado con
el control LEVEL (3).
5) Para mejorar la inteligibilidad del habla o para
suprimir ruido de zumbidos, ajuste el interruptor
LOCUT (1) a ON. Así va a suprimirse el ruido de
baja frecuencia.
6) Para apagar el receptor, desconecte el conector
de los cascos o del auricular de oreja del jack
PHONES.

Inductieontvanger
Deze handleiding is bedoeld voor gebruikers
zonder bijzondere vakkennis. Lees de hand-
leiding grondig door, alvorens het apparaat in
gebruik te nemen, en bewaar ze voor latere
raadpleging.

2 Belangrijke gebruiksvoorschriften
Het apparaat is in overeenstemming met alle relevante
EU-Richtlijnen en is daarom gekenmerkt met
.
• De ontvanger is alleen geschikt voor gebruik bin-
nenshuis; vermijd druip- en spatwater, uitzonderlijk
warme plaatsen en plaatsen met een hoge voch-
tigheid (toegestaan omgevingstemperatuurbereik:
0–40°C).
• Verwijder het stof met een droge, zachte doek.
Gebruik zeker geen chemicaliën of water.
• Indien u het toestel voor een langere periode (bv.
langer dan een week) niet gebruikt, dient u de
accu’s of de batterijen eruit te nemen. Zo blijft het
apparaat onbeschadigd bij eventueel uitlopen van
de accu’s/batterijen.
• In geval van ongeoorloofd gebruik, foutieve be-
diening of van herstelling door een niet-gekwali-
ficeerd persoon vervalt de garantie en de verant-
woordelijkheid voor hieruit resulterende materiële
of lichamelijke schade.
Wanneer het apparaat definitief uit bedrijf
wordt genomen, bezorg het dan voor mi-
lieuvriendelijke verwerking aan een plaat-
selijk recyclagebedrijf.
Geef lege batterijen en defecte accu’s niet met het
gewone huisvuil mee, maar verwijder ze als KGA
(bijvoorbeeld de inzamelbox in de gespecialiseerde
elektrozaak).
3 Toepassingen
Met de ontvanger LR-202 kunt u audiosignalen ont-
vangen in inductieve geluidsinstallaties. Ze worden
voor diverse toepassingen gebruikt, bijvoorbeeld als
hulpmiddel voor slechthorenden in kerken, theaters,
filmzalen, wachtkamers en recreatieruimten, als
tolkinstallaties, bij voordrachten in musea, tentoon-
stellingen etc.
Bij inductieve geluidsinstallaties wordt een induc-
tielus met een constante-stroomversterker aange-
stuurd. Een inductielus bestaat uit een draadwikke-
ling die in de vloer, in de muur of in het plafond wordt
aangebracht. In deze lus ontstaat een magneetveld
dat in de inductieontvanger een spanning induceert.
Deze spanning wordt door de ontvanger opnieuw in
een audiosignaal omgezet. In een inductielus kunt u
een willekeurig aantal ontvangers gebruiken.
4 Voedingsspanning
Als voeding hebt u een 9V-blokbatterij of een
9V-accu nodig.
1) Druk de sluitlip (a) naast het deksel van het
batterijvakje (5) licht in en klap het deksel tegelijk
open.
2) Breng de accu of de batterij met het plus- en
minusteken aan zoals op de voorzijde van het
vakje aangeduid.
3) Klap het deksel dicht en klik vast.
5 Ingebruikneming
1) Draai de regelaar LEVEL (3) naar links in de mini-
mumstand.
2) Sluit de hoofdtelefoon of oortelefoon aan op
de jack PHONES (4). Op deze manier wordt het
apparaat ingeschakeld, en de POWER-LED ON(2)
licht op.
3) Bevestig de ontvanger met de clip op de achter-
zijde op een kledingsstuk, bv. de riem.
4) Stel met de regelaar LEVEL (3) het gewenste weer-
gavevolume in.
5) Voor een betere verstaanbaarheid of bij een sto-
rende bromtoon plaatst u de schakelaar LOCUT
(1) in de stand ON. Zo onderdrukt u laagfrequente
ruis.
6) Om de ontvanger uit te schakelen, trekt u de stek-
ker van de hoofdtelefoon of oortelefoon uit de
stekkerbus PHONES.
