• Your batteryoperated garlic and herb chopper is
designed to chop small quantities quickly and
easily with minimal effort.
• The chopper is designed for intermittent use only.
Do not use non-stop for longer than 10 seconds.
• The chopper is designed for chopping small
quantities of garlic, herbs, chilli's etc. It is not
designed to chop larger items or large quantities.
• The metal blades are very sharp. Always take care
when handling, especially when removing from
the bowl and cleaning.

Important safety
instructions
The use of any electrical appliance
requires the following of basic common
sense safety rules.
Primarily there is danger of injury or death
and secondly the danger of damage to the
appliance. These are indicated in the text by
the following two conventions:

In addition we offer the following essential
safety advice.
Location
• Protect from rain etc. if using outdoors.
Personal safety
• WARNING: Do not touch moving
parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing as
well as utensils away from the
chopping blades.
• WARNING: Take carewhen handling
metal blades as they arevery sharp.
Children
• Do not allow children to use this chopper.
Children are vulnerable in the kitchen
particularly when unsupervised and if
appliances are being used or cooking is
being carried out.
• Teach children to be awareof dangers in
the kitchen, warn them of the dangers of
reaching up to areas where they cannot
see properly or should not be reaching.
Other safety considerations
•Do not operate any appliance after the
appliance malfunctions or has been
damaged in any manner. Contact our
helpline for advice on examination and
repair.
• Do not use accessories not recommended
by the manufacturer as there is the danger
of fire, electric shock or personal injury.
•Do not place on or near a hot gas or
electric burner or in an heated oven.

Unpacking
Carefully unpack your mini chopper, as
the blades arevery sharp. Remove all
stickers (except for serial label) and wash all
the parts that are safe to immerse in water
(part numbers ⁄,¤,‹and ‚only).
IMPORTANT: Never immerse the motor
base flin water or any other liquid. This may
be wiped with a clean damp cloth.
Setup B
1Turn the motor base over and remove the
battery cover.
2Insert the four batteries into the battery
compartment, ensuring that the batteries
are placed in the correct position.
Chopping
1Place the chopping bowl ‹onto the top
of the motor base.
2Place the chopping blade ¤in the centre
of the chopping bowl. Ensureit is
correctly located on the drive fi.
3Place the food items to be chopped into
the bowl (refer to the operating guide for
quantities).
4Place the lid ⁄onto the bowl and turn
clockwise until the lid is locked into place
C.
5Push down firmly onto the lid to operate
the chopper D.
•Use short pulses to achieve the desired
consistency.
•If the ingredients stick to the side whilst

chopping, remove the lid and use the
spatula to scrape the food from the
sides. Replace the lid and continue
chopping to the desired consistency.
6When you have finished chopping,
remove the lid from the bowl, carefully
remove the chopping blade from the
spindle and lift the bowl from the motor
unit. Use the spatula to scrape the
chopped ingredients out of the bowl.
Chopping guide
•Fresh herbs The maximum amount to
be used should be 5g. Process for about
5seconds, after this time the herbs can
get bruised and the moisture is drawn
out.
•Garlic cloves Chop 1-2 large cloves at a
time; 3-4 small cloves at one time
•Chillies 1small chilli at a time (3-4cm)
cut into 1-2cm pieces
•Spring onions About 1 onion at a time
(5g) cut into 1-2cm pieces long.
•Ginger 2-3 pieces 1-2cm long
•Onions 10g cut into 1-2cm pieces
•Nuts 20g at a time
Cleaning
Wash the chopping bowl, blade, lid and
spatula in warm soapy water,or place on the
top basket of the dishwasher.
Troubleshooting
•Check that the bowl is correctly located
on the motor housing.
• Check that the lid is fully closed into the
lock position.
• Check to see if the batteries need
replacing.

Recipes
Salsa
Ingredients
Onion
1/2garlic clove
Fresh coriander, parsley, basil
Small chilli
Tinned plum tomatoes
1tsp tomato purée
1tsp olive oil
Method
1Cut 1/4of the onion into 1-2cm pieces
and process approximately 10g in
chopper until finely chopped.
2Finely chop garlic.
3Roughly chop approximately 5g of herbs.
4Cut chilli into 1cm slices and add required
amount to chopper - chop finely.
5Take 2 to 3 plum tomatoes and cut in half.
Place in chopper and blend until smooth.
6Mix all ingredients together,add tomato
puree and oil and mix thoroughly. Chill
well before serving.
Korean sesame & ginger marinade
Ingredients
4small garlic cloves
Fresh ginger
2spring onions
Red chilli
2tbsp sugar
2tbsp peanut oil
2tbsp toasted sesame seeds
6tbsp soy sauce
Method
1Chop garlic cloves finely in mini chopper.
2Cut ginger into 1-2cm pieces and process
2-3 pieces in chopper until finely
chopped.
3Cut spring onions into 2cm pieces and
process in chopper,1spring onion at a
time.
4Cut chilli into 1cm pieces and chop finely
in mini chopper.
5In a bowl mix sugar, oil, sesame seeds
and soy sauce. Add other ingredients and
mix thoroughly.
6Use to marinade beef, lamb or pork.
Sour cream blue cheese dip
Ingredients
Onion
Fresh parsley
100ml Sour cream
20g blue cheese
Salt
Method
1Cut 10g of onion into 1-2cm pieces and
chop finely.
2Roughly chop a handful of parsley in
chopper, 5g at a time.
3Mix onion, parsley, sour cream and blue
cheese together and add salt to taste.
4Chill for a few hours before serving.
Garlic & herb dip
Ingredients
1garlic clove
Ahandful of fresh herbs: basil, chives,
parsley, coriander
100ml plain, low-fat yogurt
Salt
Method
1Chop garlic finely.
2Roughly chop herbs 5g at a time.
3Mix all ingredients and add salt to taste.
4Chill before serving.
Pesto
Ingredients
20g pine nuts
2garlic cloves
1/2small chilli
5g parsley
10g basil leaves
50ml olive oil
Method
1Chop pine nuts in mini chopper.
2Chop garlic finely in chopper.
3Cut chilli into 1cm slices and chop finely
in chopper.
4Roughly chop herbs in 5g lots.
5Mix all ingredients together and chill
before serving.

Mint sauce
Ingredients
10g fresh mint
100ml plain yoghurt
Method
1Roughly chop mint in 5g lots.
2Mix with yoghurt.
3Chill before serving.
French herby dressing
Ingredients
1/2clove garlic
2g each of chives, thyme, mint
50ml olive oil
1/2tbsp white wine vinegar
1tsp soft brown sugar
1/2tsp wholegrain mustard
Salt and pepper
Method
1Finely chop garlic clove in mini-chopper.
2Roughly chop herbs in chopper.
3Mix with other ingredients and serve on
salads.
Fresh coriander chutney
Ingredients
25g fresh coriander leaves
1green chilli
1garlic clove
2tbsp lime juice
1tbsp natural yoghurt
1/2tsp golden caster sugar
Salt and pepper
Method
1Roughly chop herbs in mini chopper, 5g at
atime.
2Cut chilli into 1cm slices and finely chop.
3Finely chop garlic.
4Mix all these together and add remaining
ingredients.

Battery disposal
This appliance contains non-rechargeable
batteries. When they reach the end of their
life, they must not be disposed of in the
normal household waste. They must be
removed from the appliance and disposed of
at an authorised recycling plant. Your local
authority will have a centre which accepts
such waste for recycling.

Your two-year
guarantee
•It is important to retain the retailers
receipt as proof of purchase. Staple
your receipt to this back cover for future
reference.
Please quote the following information if
the product develops a fault. These numbers
can be found on the base of the product.
Model no. Serial no.
All Morphy Richards Products are
individually tested before leaving the factory.
In the unlikely event of any appliance proving
to be faulty within 28 days of purchase it
should be returned to the place of purchase
for it to be replaced.
If the fault develops after 28 days and
within 24 months of original purchase, you
should contact the helpline number quoting
model number and serial number on the
product, or write to Morphy Richards at the
address shown. You may be asked to return
the product (in secure, adequate packaging)
along with a copy of proof of purchase.
Subject to the exclusions set out below (1-6),
the faulty appliance will then be repaired or
replaced and dispatched usually within seven
working days of receipt.
If for any reason this item is replaced
during the 2-year guarantee period, the
guarantee on the new item will be calculated
from original purchase date. Therefore it is
vital to retain your original receipt or invoice
to indicate the date of initial purchase.
To qualify for the two-year guarantee the
appliance must have been used according to
the manufacturers instructions. For example
appliances should have been regularly
descaled.
Morphy Richards shall not be liable to
replace or repair the goods under the terms of
the Guarantee where:
1 The fault has been caused or is attributable
to accidental use, mis-use, negligent use or
used contrary to the manufacturers
recommendations or where the fault has
been caused by power surges or damage
caused in transit.
2 The appliance has been used on a voltage
supply other than that stamped on the
products.
3Repairs have been attempted by persons
other than our service staff(or authorised
dealer).
4 Where the appliance has been used for hire
purposes or non-domestic use.
5 Morphy Richards are not liable to carry out
any type of servicing work, under the
guarantee.
6 Plastic filters for all Morphy Richards
appliances and coffee makers are not
covered by the guarantee.
This guarantee does not confer any rights
other than those expressly set out above and
does not cover any claims for consequential
loss or damage. This guarantee is offered as
an additional benefit and does not affect your
statutory rights as a consumer.
