Preparing for Installation

1a. Tools recommended for installation:
- Screwdriver set - Socket set
- Torx set
1b. Find a suitable place for installation, preferably inside, to prevent the open connectors from getting
wet.
1c. Prepare an empty space to place the parts that you temporarily have to remove from your engine bay,
like the engine cover or other parts. Once installation is finished, this makes it easy to confirm visually
that all removed parts made their way back into the engine bay.
1d. Do not make any changes or modification to the iTronic Module, including changing the length
of the wiring harness
1e. Open the hood, make sure the ignition is switched off, then remove the key and close the doors.
Now wait 5 minutes before starting installation, this ensures the car has gone into sleep mode.

3.1 Windshield cover.
• Remove the windshield cover, shown in fig. 1.
3.2 Engine cover.
• Remove the engine cover by pulling it up.
No tools needed for this action.
3.3 Remove covers.

• Remove both covers, shown in fig. 3.

• Remove both ECU covers, shown in fig. 4.
3.5 Airbox.
• Disconnect the four connectors,
shown in fig. 5.1
• Disconnect the hose clamps from
the airbox and remove the airbox.
