Overheating will seriouslydamage the CPUand system.Always makesure
thecoolingfancanworkproperlytoprotectthe CPUfromoverheating.Make
surethatyouapplyan even layerofthermalpaste(orthermaltape)between
the CPUand the heatsinktoenhanceheatdissipation.
ReplaceingtheCPU
Whilereplacing theCPU,alwaysturnoffthepowersupplyorunplugthe
powersupply spowercordfromthegrounded outlet firsttoensurethe safety
ofCPU.

WhenyouareinstallingtheCPU, makesuretheCPUhasacoolerattached on
thetoptopreventoverheating. Meanwhile,donotforgettoapplysomethermal
pasteonCPUbeforeinstalling theheatsink/coolerfanforbetterheatdispersion.
Followthestepsbelowtoinstall theCPU&coolercorrectly.Wrong installationwill
causethedamageofyourCPU&mainboard.
4.Afterconfirming theCPUdirection for
correctmating,putdowntheCPUin
the sockethousingframe.Besure
tograspontheedgeoftheCPUbase.

theheatsink.Pushdownthecooler
until itsfourclipsgetwedgedinto
theholesofthemainboard.

TheseDIMM slotsareintendedforsystemmemorymodules.
Installing Memory Modules
1. LocatetheDIMMslotsonthemainboard. Flipopenthe retainingclipateachside
ofthe DIMMslot.
2. Alignthenotchonthe DIMMwiththe keyonthe slot.InserttheDIMM verticallyinto
theDIMM slot. Thenpushit inuntilthegolden fingeron theDIMMisdeeplyinserted
intheDIMMslot.Theretainingclipat eachsideofthe DIMMslotwillautomatically
closeif the DIMM isproperlyseated.
3. Manuallycheckif the DIMMhasbeenlockedin placebytheretaining clipsat the
sides.
4. Followthesameprocedurestoinstall moreDIMMsif necessary.
Important
Youcanbarelyseethe golden fingeriftheDIMM isproperlyinserted inthe
DIMMslot.
