防水性能に関する注意事項
ご使用前に「防水性能に関する注意事項」をよくお読みくだ
さい。記載内容を守らずに使用すると故障の原因になります。
＊実際のご使用にあたって、すべての状況での動作を保証
するものではありません。お客様の取り扱いの不備による
故障と認められた場合は、保証の対象外となります。
■防水性能について
電 池 ぶたをしっかり取り付けた状 態で 保護等級ＪＩＳ IＰＸ４（防
沫形）
相当の防水性能を有しております。
＊IPX4は、水の飛沫に対する保護規定。
シャワー近くでの使用を想定して、あらゆる方向から5分間
散水を行い、浸水がないことを確認します。
＊製品の防水性能は、真水と水道水に対応しています。
■ご使用にあたっての重要事項
シャワーの 近くなど 、水しぶきが かかる 場 所 でも 使 用 できる 仕
様 になっていますが 、完全防水ではありません。故障の原因
になりますので、以下の点について十分ご注意ください。
●裏面のスピーカーの丸い穴を突っつかないでください。防
水 性が 失 われます。
●以下の例のような液体をかけたり、浸けたりしないでくださ
い。また、砂や泥なども付着させないでください。防水性を
低 下させます 。
例.石けん、洗剤、入浴剤などの入った水、海水、プールの
水、温泉、熱湯、薬品など。
●水に浮かべたり、水中で使用しないでください。また、故意
に 水 をか け な い でください 。
＊水にぬれた手でのボタン操 作はできます。
●
多量の水がかかったり、水中に落ちたときには、すぐに乾い
た 布 で よく水 分 を 拭 き 取 ってください
。
●浴室などで使用した後は、水分をよく拭き取り、湿気の少な
い 所 に 置 い てください
。
●
サウナ、岩盤浴など高温、多湿になる所では使用しないでく
ださい 。
●寒い所から暖かい浴室などに持ち込むときは、製品が常
温になってから持ち込んでください。急激な温度変化があ
ると製品内部で結露が発生して、さびの発生や回路、電
池のショートによる故障の原因になります。
●電池の交換は、水分をよく拭き取って、湿気の少ない所で
行 ってください 。
●製品を分解しないでください。
●防沫用パッキンの防水効果は徐々に低下します。劣化の
進行は使用環境により異なります。

します。工場出荷時の状態（2011年1月1日午前12：00）

示に反映するまでには時間がかかります。

注）本製品は室内用ですので、室内の温度測定以外の目
的では使用できません。また厳密な温度管理を行う用途
には 適していません 。

●電池は幼児の手の届かない所に置いてくださ
い。万一飲み込んだ場合には、直ちに医師の
治 療 を 受 け てくだ さい 。
●電池を火中に投入しないでください。破裂する
おそれがあります。

●汚れがひどいときは、水でうすめた中性洗剤や石けん水を、

ル、スプレー式クリーナー類は、使用しないでください。
お手入れについて
■ボタン電池について
■ 誤 飲による事 故 防 止につ いて
󱾀電池から漏れた液が眼に入った場合は、失明するおそ
れがありますのですぐにきれいな水で洗い、医師の治療
を受けてください。また、皮膚や衣服に付着した場合は、
水で洗い流してください。
󱾀ショート、分解、加熱、火に入れるなどしないでください。
液漏れ、発熱、破裂の原因になります。
小さな部品や電池は、幼児の手の届く所に置かないでくだ
さい。万一、飲み込んだ場合は、すぐに医師の治療を受
け てください 。
󱾀＋（ プ ラ ス ）、−（ マ イ ナ ス ）を 逆 に 入 れ な い で く だ さ い 。
󱾀指定された電池を使用してください。
󱾀使い切った電池は速やかに取り出してください。
󱾀長期間使用しない場合は、電池を取り出してください。
󱾀電池に充電をしないでください。
■電池について ■取り扱いについて
電池の使いかたを間違えると、発熱、破裂の危険や液漏れ
により人体や時計周りを傷めることがあります。
󱾀時計は精密機器です。落としたりして衝撃を与えないでく
ださい。故障や破損の原因になります。
󱾀分解したり改造しないでください。故障の原因になります。
次 の ような 場 所 で は 使 わ な い でください 。
機械やケース、電池の品質が低下し、精度不良や時計、電
池の寿命が短くなります。
󱾀温度が＋50℃（50度）以上になる所。例えば、長時間直
射日光のあたる所や暖房器具等の熱風や火気に近い所。
󱾀温度が−10℃（氷点下10度）以下になる所。（プラスチッ
クの部品や電池の劣化が起きることがあります。）
󱾀サウナ、岩盤浴など、長時間高温・多湿になる所。
󱾀テレビ・OA機器・オーディオのそばなど強い磁気が発生す
る所。（磁力の影響で、時計の進みや遅れが生じたり、止
ま る こ と が あ り ま す 。）
󱾀車中や船舶、工事現場など、振動の激しい所。
󱾀温泉場など、ガスの発生する所。
󱾀多くの油を使用する所。（霧状になった油分がケースや機
械部に付着し、汚れや止まりの原因になります。）
󱾀ゴムや軟質のポリ塩化ビニルに長い間、直接ふれさせてお
くと、相互に色移りしたり、付着することがあります。
■ご使用場所について
静電気の影響により、正常に機能しなくなることがあります。
このようなときは初期化ボタンを押してください。
静電気による誤作動について
※付属の電池は、工場を出荷するときに入れていますので、電池
寿命が製品仕様より短い場合があります。
※液晶はその特性上、0℃以下になると表示反応が遅くなった
り、表示が薄くなることがあります。40℃以上になると表示が
濃 く な っ た り 、ム ラ に 見 え る こ と が あ り ま す 。
※液晶表示板は5年を過ぎると、コントラストが低下して数字が
読 み に くく な る こ と が あ り ま す 。
※製品仕様は改良のため、予告なく変更することがあります。

Do not short-circuit, disassemble, heat or expose to fire. These actions may result in the leakage of liquid, heating or an explosion.

Before using this product please read thoroughly the “Precautions regarding waterproofing”. Using the product without
strictly following the contents laid down in these precautions may cause a malfunction.
●Important points regarding usage
As malfunction may be caused, pay careful attention to the points below.
Do not put anything in the holes on the back of the speaker. This can result in the loss of the waterproofing function.
Do not soak the product in or put any of the liquids listed in the example below on the product. Also do not put sand or mud
on the product.
Example liquids: soap, detergent, water containing bubble bath or similar, seawater, swimming pool water, hot spring water,
boiling water, pharmaceutical products, etc.
Do not float the product on water or submerge it in water when using. Also, do not intentionally splash water on it.
* It is possible to operate the buttons with hands wet with water.
If a lot of water is splashed on the product or if it falls into a body of water, wipe the water off immediately with a dry cloth.
After using the product in a place such as a bathroom, wipe the moisture off and place the product in a location with a low
moisture level.
Do not use the product in locations with a high temperature and humidity, such as saunas or bedrock baths.
When you are moving the product from a cold place to a warm bathroom, for example, move the product after it has
reached a normal temperature. If there are sudden changes in the temperature, condensation is produced inside the
product and can cause malfunctioning as a result of problems such as the development of rust and the shorting of the
battery or circuit.
Change the battery in a place with low humidity and with hands wiped dry of water.

Incorrect use of battery can cause battery leakage, heating or explosion, leading to injury or damage to the clock.
Regularly replace the battery with a new one once a
year even if the clock is still working.
Do not drop or subject to strong impact as a clock is a precision instrument. Doing so may cause malfunction or
damage.

inaccuracy or shortening the life of the clock and the battery.
●Although this product is designed for usage in places where water splashes, such as near a shower, it is not completely waterproof.
●The waterproof effect of the waterproof packing gradually declines. The progression of the deterioration varies depending on the environment in
which the product is used.
●When the battery cover is securely attached, this product is designed to have a waterproof level equivalent to the IP code IPX-4 (splash-resistant
type).
Regarding waterproofing
* IPX-4 is the splash-proof protection standard.
It is confirmed that water does not penetrate the product in the conditions assumed by usage in the vicinity of a shower with water splashing from
all directions for a period of 5 minutes.
* The waterproof function is designed to work for both fresh water and tap water.
Locations where the temperature exceeds +50 °C (122°F).
For example, extended exposure to sunlight. Locations near heating or other apparatus with hot blasts or flames.
Locations where the temperature is lower than –10 °C (+14 °F). The quality of plastic components and batteries will
deteriorate.
Locations with long periods of high temperature and humidity, such as in a sauna or bedrock bath.
Locations with a strong magnetic field, such as in the proximity of television sets, office automation equipment, audio apparatus,
etc. Magnetic fields may cause the clock to accelerate, decelerate or stop.
Locations where strong vibrations exist such as in a train, in a ship or at a construction work site.
Locations where gas exists such as at the site of a hot
spring.
Locations where large quantities of oil are used. (Oil in the form of a mist will adhere to the case and machine parts, staining the
clock or causing the clock to stop.)
If directly attached to flexible PVC for a long period of time, colors may transfer or stain each other.
